This is a very good article concerning the Jubilees and the Second Coming.
The church will experience their Jubilee in eternity after 2017.

“Rabbi’s prophecy and the coming of the Kingdom”

In 1217,  a year of Jubilee, the Jewish Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel prophesied about the final 10 Jubilees before the Messianic Kingdom would begin. The start of the final 10 Jubilees would be signaled by the Ottoman Turks rule over the holy city of Jerusalem, which would last for 8 Jubilees or 400 years.  A Jubilee is a period of 50 years according to Leviticus 25:8-13. In 1517, which was also a jubilee year, the Ottoman Turks seized control of the city of Jerusalem and ruled over it for the next 400 years!  They were finally driven out of the city and the holy land in 1917 by the Allied forces under the command of General George Allenby. The Rabbi’s prophecy about the 400 years was fulfilled exactly to the year.

The Rabbi also prophesied that during the ninth Jubilee , the next 50 years, Jerusalem would be a “no-man’s land.” This is exactly what happened from 1917 to 1967!  The Holy City was placed under British Mandate in 1917 by the League of Nations and literally “belonged” to no nation. Even after Israel’s war of independence in 1948-49, Jerusalem was still divided by a strip of land running right through the heart of the city. Jordan controlled the eastern part of the city and Israel controlled the western part of the city. That strip of land was even called “no-man’s land” by both the Israelis and the Jordanians. It was not until the Six Day War in 1967  that the whole city of Jerusalem passed back into the possession of Israel. So once again the prophecy made by the Rabbi was fulfilled to the letter!

The Rabbi also said that during the 10th and final Jubilee, Jerusalem would be under the control of the Jews until the Messianic kingdom would begin. The 10th Jubilee began in 1967 and will be concluded in 2017.

If the Rabbi’s prophecy holds true and the millennium kingdom begins in 2017, what does that tell us? If the “Time of Jacob’s Trouble” (Chevlai shel Mashiach) is seven years in length, it would have to begin in 2010!

The Rabbi’s have taught there will be a total of 120 Jubilee cycles (6000 years) from the time God created the earth until the beginning of the Messianic Kingdom.

From Creation to Exodus : 50 Jubilees (2500 years)

To understand the biblical chronology of this period it is necessary to consider the key issues relating to this period : see www.cogwriter.com/six_thousand_year_plan_6000.htm for the chronology dating creation at 3983 B.C.

From Exodus (1483 B.C.) to 2017 : 70 Jubilees (3500 years)

So, 50 Jubilees (Creation to Exodus) + 70 Jubilees (Exodus to 2017) = 120 JUBILEES.

120 Jubilee’s x 50 years = 6000 years

JEWISH JUBILEE DATES in Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel’s prophecy:

1517– Ottoman Turks take Jerusalem

1917 – Balfour Declaration and Israel is declared a Jewish Homeland

1967 – Jerusalem recaptured by Israel

2017– Start of the Messianic Kingdom

If the Rabbi’s prophecy comes to pass, during Sukkot 2017 Jesus Christ Will Proclaim A “Jubilee” in accordance with the Levitical Law given to Moses.  During the Feast of Tabernacles, a “Jubilee” was proclaimed, where all of the debts of the Israelites were canceled, all of the Israelites who had become enslaved were set free, and all of the land belonging to the Israelites was returned to its rightful Israelite owner. This is a physical example of the spiritual truths that are fulfilled in Jesus Christ, and will be finished at His Second Coming. The rule  of the earth will return to Jesus Christ to the glory of God!

  1. MICHELLE OBAMA’S ALLAH-DAY

Why was Michelle Obama spreading “stimulus” money in Spain? Do you suppose Barack Hussein Obama told her he can’t get re-elected without the votes of Hispanics who aren’t American citizens and she thought he meant the non-American Hispanics living in Spain?
At least those foreigners are much better than “voters” in American cemeteries!
BTW, in 1928 Herbert Hoover’s campaign promised that if he were elected there would be “a chicken in every pot and a car in every garage.”
Well, Obama has come up with a Hoover twist and says that if he’s re-elected there will be “a chick in every car and some pot in every garage”!
For some insights into Obamessiah and his think-alikes, Google “Obama Avoids Bible Verses,” “Obama Supports Public Depravity,” “Government-Approved Illegals,” and “Imam Bloomberg’s Sharia Mosque.”
Have you noticed that America’s “Christian” president has favorites? See search engines including Google and type in “Obama Favors Islam Over Christianity.”
I wonder what will happen when Obama “comes out” and admits that he’s a Muslim!

  2. I am absolutely 100% convinced of the accuracy of this timeline. Except we have to try to line this up with the Jewish calendar to be a bit more precise.

If my calculations are correct, October 3rd, 2016, is the first day of the Jubilee year 5777. The time to restore all things. The day of the Lord.

Which means October 2nd, 2016 is “the last day” on which Jesus promised he would resurrect all those who had fallen asleep. After that, we who are still alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds and so will we be with the Lord forever. The day of the rapture.

    • Hi Vincent
Having just come across this post very recently, allow me to share another whole line of Scriptures which I am convinced leads to the same conclusion that 2017 is the year of Jesus’ return for the Church in the format of what is known as the Rapture.
We start at Ish 11:11 where the Prophet proclaims that God will reclaim the Jews a SECOND time to the promised land.Verse 12 proclaims that God will wave a banner [flag] to the nations in the recall of the Jews this second time. Keep in mind that Isaiah put this idea forth circa 700 BCE. This was before the first recall of the Jews to the promised land after the Babylonian conquest in the 535 BCE era. This second recall began in 1897 at the First Zionist Congress in Basel Switzerland organized by T Hertzl. The vision was to have a nation within 50 years. Fast forward to 1947 Nov 29th and the prophecy of ISH 66 of a nation formed in a day is fulfilled and the nations grant the right for Israel to be a nation. 50 years, a Jubilee 50 year amount of time. This after Jer 16:16 is fulfilled where God will send fishermen to bring them back [ Zionist movement ] followed by the hunters [ Nazi Holocaust ] to get them back to the promised land.
Now let us examine what Jesus says in Math 24 as He answers a three part question asked by His disciples. “When will the Temple be thrown down and what is the sign of your coming and the end of the age”. His answer centers around His appearance in the sky when the nations mourn at the sight, His elect are gathered up by angels and the FIG tree puts forth leaves and blossoms followed by “it will be as in the days of Noah”. This is the key, the days of Noah. Noah was given 120 years to warn the people to repent because judgement was coming and something was going to happen that had never happened before;RAIN.Also Jesus says that it will only be a generation before these things will occur. From Psalm 90 we get a generation as being 70 years. 70 years from the fig tree in 1947 points to 2017. This on top of the fact that the Jews get back full control of Jerusalem after 70 years, a generation, from 1897 in 1967 for the first time since being lost to the Babylonians over 2500 years ago. According to Jesus so ends the age of the Gentiles so this is also an important time on God’s calendar. As a sidebar; from 1967 to 2017 is a Jubilee period again, 50 years. The clincher is the fact that from the time God waves the flag of the Jews in 1897 to 2017 is 120 years, the time period Noah had to preach to the people repentance for a happening of judgement that was coming at the end of 120 years. So it will be again, as Jesus said, “it will be as in the days of Noah”, and a happening is coming the world has never seen called a rapture, separating the believers , the Righteous, from the unbelievers. No wonder the nations mourn when they see His appearing in the sky.
So from what the old Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel said and these numbers of years we have already seen with critical flag waving events by God using the Jews for a flag, we can be pretty sure that 2017 will be a very wonderful year of rapture for the Church. Be blessed.

      • Bob I believe that everything you said is important and true as the years are concerned, the Rapture were it to happen at the year of 2017, the start of the millennium would put your thinking in the post Tribulation category of believers. I am a pre-Tribulation believer that puts the Rapture prior to the Tribulations. To understand the different positions on this matter I would suggest the book Things to Come By D. Pentecost.

    Joel

    October 21, 2010 at 1:10 pm

    • we will not know the DAY or the HOUR. He said we will know the season. In Hebrews 10 we see that we should not forsake the assembling of ourselves together even as WE SEE THE DAY APPROACHES. Thus we are told we are able to discern or SEE when the day approaches for we can SEE it coming, we just don’t know the exact day or hour, just the season of His coming. Be blessed.

    • There is a feast in Leviticus That begins ON the new moon, so two witnesses are appointed to watch for this, as no man knoweth the hour or the day of the beginning of this feast. the only feast of YHVH
      which begins on new moon.

      May 16, 2013 at 3:18 pm

      • Let us go back to what Jesus said in Math 24. “No man will know the day or the hour”. He also said, ” it will be as in the days of Noah”. Noah was not told the day or the hour either by God when God first told him to build an Ark. He was only told that it would be necessary for use in 120 years [Genesis 6]. Noah, a preacher of righteousness according to Peter, went about building his Ark as a testimony to his faith in what God told him [Heb 11]. Now when the 120th year came God finally told him during that year, that the event would come in 7 days so he should get in the ark and load the animals as well. On the very day of the beginning of the flood, Noah still did not know at what hour it would begin. Exactly when God closed the door and sealed it we do not know but we can assume that Noah thought it must be soon since the door was now closed and seven days had passed. We will not know the DAY OR THE HOUR either as Jesus said but we will be able to see the day coming closer as the Book of Hebrews tells us where it says, “Do not forsake the assembling of yourselves together, even as you SEE THE DAY approaching”. If the year is available to us to figure out, as I believe it is, then what we need to figure out is when does the clock start on the 120 years, if the timing is also the same now as in the days of Noah. If so, a good starting point may be 1897 when the first Zionist Congress met in Basel Switzerland at the end of August. 120 years from 1897 puts us at 2017 which is pointed to by the Rabbi in this whole discussion. A kicker that seems to confirm the start of the clock as 1897 is the fact that 50 years later, a jubilee period, saw the vote in the UN that gave the Jewish nation the right to exist in November of 1947. Then in 1967, exactly 70 years later, the Jews finally got back the full controll of Jerusalem for the first time in about 2500 years and what Jesus said came to pass. The gentiles no longer trod down Jerusalem and the age of the gentiles was over. Hope this helps. Be blessed.

  4. Since I posted that comment I have done a lot more study and, although Oct 3rd 2016 is still the first day of the last Jubilee year, I am no longer convinced that it coincides with the return of Jesus.

Matter of fact, I now believe “the time to restore all things” refers to the time when God creates the new heaven and the new earth. That is truly the time to restore all things.

    • I do believe that Christ will return after the sixth day (6000 years). The parable of the 10 virgins is a warning that he may return near midnight. This could be 5 jubilees into the 7th day and would equates to 2010 + 250 years equals somewhere close to the year 2260. No one knows the day but sure we should know the season. In our life time?? I don’t think so.

      October 31, 2010 at 1:16 pm

      • Five jubilees into the seventh day? Is that just a random time frame you’re throwing out or is that somehow related to the midnight of the parable? Please explain.

        Vincent

        November 1, 2010 at 10:05 pm

  5. Midnight would be 6 hours (a quarter of a 24 hour cycle) into the new day. Remember the day starts at sunset. a Quarter of one day (1000 years) is 250 years or 5 jubilees. Based on the parable of the 10 virgins, Christ’s return could be anywhere between 2017, the date so elegantly highlighted above, or the year 2260 (midnight).
If 2017 is the beginning of the Messanic Kingdom, and if the Christ’s return is delayed, as we were often forewarned, His return may not be in our lifetime.

  6. I first heard of the 2016 date for Christ’s return on Christmas Eve, and I found it interesting how the dates all line up so well. The last Jubilee was in 1967, and not only was when the Arab-Israeli War occured, but it was also around the time which the “new morality” began to really take hold.

  8. I was wondering about the old testament prophecy that said “when Jerusalem was once again in the hands of the Jewish People” that “the generation that saw this occur would not pass away” before the “beginning of the end of the age” which encompasses many events. Also on the pre/post trib thing , Really??? If the believers in Roman days were not spared persecution and crucifixion, why are modern believers so sure they will ? The season is upon us and there are those who will continue to say “where is the promise of his coming” ? Not in our lifetime hmmmm Sounds much like the days of Noah when those warned laughed and rebuked Noah as he built his ark. As always some would get specific with a date hoping the be the greatest prophet of all time by predicting the unpredictable day and hour. In truth perhaps we should settle on it being the season and do as much good and kindness as we can for those who will be left behind. Remembering that an even greater harvest of believers comes after were are gone, and the 144,000 witnesses evangelize the greatest number of new believers in all of history. Many many details my brothers and sisters. Just know he is coming very soon and our generation will not pass away before it occurs. Please forgive my bad grammar and typing my laptop has a bad keyboard and a flawed operator LOL. God bless you all !!!!

  9. I actually believe that the word “generation” was mistranslated from the original “genea”. It can also be translated as “race”, “people” or “kind”. I believe when Jesus said “this generation would not pass” he was actually saying “this race (humanity) will not pass away” before all these things happen. In other words, “it will surely happen”.

    January 9, 2011 at 1:22 am

    • Hi Vincent
If Jesus meant what you are saying, then there was no point in saying it, as it is then totally open ended on a time frame. He surely meant to give us some measureable time span. The most it could be is 120 years and the least would be 40 years depending on which Biblical reference you want to use along with our understanding of the words being translated, “generation” in the English. No wonder it is not for us to know the “day or the hour”, only the season. Be blessed.

      January 9, 2011 at 9:21 pm

      • I disagree. The point was to emphasize that his words are true. He was saying “It surely will happen”. Kind of like when we use expressions like: “As surely as the sun shines…” But his words go further than that. Not only is he saying it will surely happen, but he is saying it will happen before our time is up.

  13. Everyones input appreciated. The following is from my studies BEFORE finding your informaiton. As we can see we each have many conclusions in common.

IF there will a period of time, 120 years, when those living on this Earth will be the recipients of teachings by individuals knowledgeable of the Scriptures, 144,000, as they encourage everyone to seek GOD. That’s the same number of years Methuselah and Noah spoke with those upon the earth prior to the floods commencement. Then there was a period of seven days, one week, for the mourning of the death of Methuselah – could this be the same as the week, seven years, of the Tribulation? Afterwards the “flood” commenced – i.e. Christ Jesus returns to the Earth. From what I have been able to comprehend so far the flood lasted for 371 Days. This would be over our current 365 day year. There also exists the possibility that the number of days in a year prior to the flood was different than our present days in a year. In any event was considering this “year” as it could relate to the One Thousand Reign of Christ Jesus! Please notice also that the flood commenced when Noah was 600 years old! Could this be related to this Earth continuing for six thousand, 6,000, years after the flood? Smething to think about! See the month of Tishri for possible month of Rapture.

      • Studying years I have no problems with 6000 years before?
Several of my questions are: As in the days of Noah – Studies indicate Methuselah and Noah preached, if one can use that term, for 120 years then Methuselah died. It was noted he was the last follower of God when he died {Noah & family excluded} – One week mourning he death then flood started.
Also when are the 144,000 here? Maybe between the rapture and the commencement of the tribulation?
        Still studying. thanks to all…

  14. I believe that the prophecy of Rabbi Samuel is correct. It is the interpretation that is questionable.69 of the 70 week-years of Daniel`s prophecy was fulfilled on the day of the crucifixion (Dan.9:24-27)The 70th week-year, commonly known as the 7year tribulation was put on hold, until the fulfilment of the era of grace. This 7-year period now forms an integral part of the millennium and together, they now form the messianic era. When Jesus breaks the 1st seal in Revelation the messianic era will start with the tribulation!
The Rabbi prophesied 2017, so it shall be.

  15. Really? Where are the records of this prophecy? Where are his actual quotations? Truth is, they dont exist. This was all published in a messianic-Judaism cult-controlled magazine called Israel Today, infamous for its lies and deciet. Likely they realized that 1217 was a Jubilee year, so they knew that making up this “prophecy” would fit perfectly, especially after all the claims of mysticism in his life. If this were real, Jews of that age would have taken note of it, which is recorded NOWHERE! This is all a hoax!

    March 11, 2011 at 8:34 pm

  16. Hi Phil
Let us not consider something a hoax just because we cannot find a reference to it. Hoax or no hoax, the important issue we are all dealing with here is, “Does 2017 look like the year [ not the day or hour ] of the lifting up of the Church?” Let me offer a truth we can all agree upon I hope. If an event is prophesied in the Bible and it comes to pass, it becomes part of God’s revealed plan and is significant in the scope of human history. Take for example, the prophecy that the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem, found in Micah 5:2. When that happened, it became what Jesus called a “sign of the times”. It was significant in human history as well. Was it not? The prophecy, in its fulfillment, becomes a definite sign that God has spoken. Now we have in our time many prophecies about Israel that have been fulfilled as mentioned above in previous posts. The timing of these fulfillments thus becomes a Word from God about the signs of our times. The timing of these fulfillments, based on the words of Jesus, points us most definitely toward the year 2017 as a time where,”as in the days of Noah”, there is going to be a lifting up just as Noah was lifted up out of a judgment time. World events are seeming to point to the statement of Jesus being fulfilled that the last days will be like a woman in labor with the pains coming more frequently and with greater intensity. We do not have hundreds of years to go before the Rapture. Noah only knew the year of the coming judgment from what God had told him and so with a Holy fear he built the Ark. It was 7 days before the flood event when God told him to get in the Ark, for in 7 days it will happen. Perhaps He has given us 7 years to warn people and encourage them to accept Jesus for who He is and turn to Him in repentance and be saved. Be blessed.

    • So many times, people have said “This is the year!!!” So many failed attempts to predict……
“for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.” 1 Thess 5:2
Nothing in the Bible points to 2017, if that was the year, the Tribulation would have started last year…

Peter calls Noah a Preacher of Righteousness in his epistle. Curious where you find the timing on the mourning of Methuselah? Noah did not know the day or the hour of the coming of the great flood. God had simply told him that it would happen in 120 years from when He told him, so he only knew the year.Keep studying for it helps us all as iron sharpens iron. Be blessed

    Bob 196

    March 12, 2011 at 8:04 pm

  19. Hi Phil
Because I say the Rapture occurs after 120 years in the year 2017 does not necessitate that the Tribulation would have begun this past year. The 120 years only points to the lifting up of the Church. Perhaps we get lifted up at the beginning of the Trib or in the middle as some believe. The 120 years of, “as in the Days of Noah”, only points to the year of lifting up, not the beginning of the Trib. I personally think and hope that the Trib will begin after the Rapture but there is much debate on this point and I do not have a sure understanding from Scripture on just when the Trib will begin. The Japaneese may be thinking, about now, that the Trib has just begun. However, what has happened there is only part of the labor pains Jesus told us would precede the coming of Him in the clouds. Be blessed.

  21. As in the days of Noah:
Search youtube first for: ‘noah’s ark found in turkey’, the video is 4:58 minutes long

Visit then Sygnate (user) on youtube, and study for a while. The Ron Wyatt team found the first Noah’s ark site, the outer hull of the Ark encased in a fossilized mudflow that had seeped down the south side of the mountain due to seasonal glacial melt. The actual interior of the ark appears to have been perfectly preserved in ice for us.

God’s preseved a LOT of treasures for these days. If you look at sygnate’s youtube page, there’s a video of Ron Wyatt (now passed on) speaking about being allowed to touch, witness and explore the current location of the Ark of the Covenant, which he reported has blood spilt on it on the Mercy Seat. The video goes on for about an hour and explains how these reported archaeological finds are supported by scripture.

Binding archaeology and faith together are something that is a leap of faith though! I’ve spent a lot of time evaluating this stuff… and I believe that God’s stored up a wake-up bomb for the world to explode for us to sweep in and share the Gospel. 😀

We’re due for REALLY serious times with how God is knocking about the nations that knock (foolishly) at israel with their blind diplomacies. Leaning into the bible and into Jesus via the Holy Spirit is where to find the rock to stand on! If you read about the Day of the Lord in scripture, it’s a time of great upheaval both in the natural and the spiritual. We need to focus our eyes on -Jesus-.

Don’t be dissappointed if 2016/2017 comes and passes- we’re calculating according to a calendar given to man, and it’s God in heaven that’s keeping the actual one. Personally I feel that the best measure of when Jesus actually comes back is when the Jews call loudly on His name for rescue.

Just two weeks ago one of our danish missionaries announced the publishing of the first New Hebrew translation of the Old and New testament together with concordinances and study notes – I got to hold a copy! It has.. huge ramifications if you think about the fact that it hasn’t existed before. 🙂

If you use google translate (danish to english setting) on the address www . palma – mission . dk you can browse and find their article about it. Jesus has good things afoot for us!

    • Illys thank you for your comment, yes times are interesting to say the least and hardly a day goes by that some breath taking news hits the TV and internet.

In june of 2010 Mr J.R, Church and Mr. Gary Stearman from Prophecy in the News interviewed a Texan Mr. Arch Bonnema about some expeditions he made to Iran where he discovered the Noah’s Arc. I am giving you the link to the article and hope you go to Mr. Bonneman site also and view his videos. His scientific evidence is realistic.

About 35 years ago I had the opportunity of working with some Danes in Puerto Rico. One of the companies that owned the company I was in was Larsen and Nielsen of Denmark. I met a lot of good Danes that I became friends of at the time.

      • Yes, I also have read about both Ron Wyatt’s discovery and the Ark in Iran and after reading about the Iran discovery I can tell you that it is a lot more compelling than the Wyatt story.

They have even proven that the petrified wood found on the mountain in Iran has traces of sea water still in it. I’m inclined to believe the Iran story over the Wyatt story.

      • Wow! That is rather attention-grabbing! Yes, the scientific results are quite eye-catching. 😀 What they write about Mt Ararat in Turkey standing rather out on it’s own is true – I’ve looked around on Google Earth myself. Plus- plus all the attention it would have gotten through the years might have resulted in false artifacts from it being made into a tourist attraction.
What can I do but pray over this? God knows what He’s doing, we’re otherwise curious folk looking at the puzzle-pieces of a big story. 🙂

  22. Reading the posts, and seing the signs, I believe we are closer to the return to the Messiah, but there will be no paranormal rapture as falsely claimed. IF there was to be a rapture, our L-rd would have said that it would be like the days of Enoch, or Elijah, who were both taken. Instead He said that it would be like the days of Noah and Lot, who were both counted worthy of escape. Noah escaped destruction in the ark; Lot escaped in a cave with his two daughters. I hardly call this “heavenly”. The transformation takes place upon his return, for those counted worthy of escape, and then there are those counted faithful to martyndom.

  23. I am a pretribulation rapture believer. It all points to this year Rosh Hashanah 2011. It fits in with so many coinciding events. Also Jesus promised to shorten the tribulation which would fit in with a second return in 2017 rather than 2018. We have ONLY 4 months to wait and see. Believe me the coming world events over the next 4 months will have us all glad that this is the rapture year. God’s blessings to you all whatever your opinion.

    • If you believe Jesus is coming back in the next 7 years or so, then you must believe that we are currently in the millennium. The reason I say that is because when Jesus gathers together his people, he hands over the kingdom to God the father, and we know he doesn’t hand over the kingdom until after death has been destroyed (1 Corinthians 15:23-27), which happens after the millennium. (Revelation 20:14)

  26. Wow, this thread is a blast from the past. Just reading through some of my old comments I can’t believe how much my view has changed over the last two years. I still believe that Jesus is coming soon, but I now realize that “the thousand years” is the time we are currently living in, and it’s not a literal thousand years. I also now realize that the nation in the middle east which we call “Israel” is not the Israel of God but the Israel of the United Nations. The Israel of God is (and always has been) all those who obey his commands, which is impossible except through Jesus.

    • Although I agree with most of what is written here… there is one big red flag… there is ONE TORAH for all… there is NOT “Israel” and “Church”… once someone “crosses over to the One true Elohiym of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob…they become Israel and are commanded to keep the commandments, feasts, and festivals. There will be tribulation [for all] until the return of the Messiah.

      • You are right about one thing. There is no “Israel” and “Church”. The Israel of God includes all those who have accepted Jesus, and that is the only Israel that matters. That land in the middle east which we also call Israel is the Israel of the United Nations and there’s a big difference. All the prophecies for Israel are for the Israel of God. I actually think naming that land Israel is the source of the most confusion for Christians and confusion is not from God, but from the devil.

  28. Sorry, I was unable to delete the above comment:
For the most part this is a good article and I do agree [based on my own research] that the next Jubilee is in 2017. It is also interesting to know that NASA has 2015 and 2017, as the next time that there will be “blood moon” and Solar Eclipses [see Matthew 24].
The Messiah will definitely come back during the fall feasts, however, I believe it will be on Yom Teruah “The blowing of the Shofar/ Trumpet” … [because this is the feast that you will not know the day nor the hour, because it can happen within a 2 day window] … “with the sound of the trump HE shall descend” … then the next thing to happen is HE will judge the nations “If you endure 10 days” [Revelation 2:10]…
Yom Kippur aka Day of Atonement … and after that comes the fall feast Sukkot aka Feast of Tabernacles… where there are 7 days [Seventh Day Millennium] of rejoicing before the “8th and great day”….

What I do not agree [based on the Holy Scritpures] with is there is NOT a seperate plan for the “church”… there IS ONE LAW “TORAH” for all. Once you believe … then it is our duty to keep/guard and do what the Heavenly Father commands… which basically grafts one into Israel…
SO EITHER YOU’RE ISRAEL OR YOU’RE NOT 🙂 Because there is ONE TORAH for all… there is NOT “Israel” and “Church”… once someone “crosses over to the One true Elohiym of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob…they become Israel and are commanded to keep the commandments, feasts, and festivals. There will be tribulation [for all] until the return of the Messiah. 🙂
Plus we have to remember Israel is in the dispora and has been scattered to the four corners of the earth…which is part of the reason HE has to come back to gather her again to HIMSELF… Judah is just ONE tribe that makes up the 12 tribes of Israel 🙂

    • I would go even one step further and say that the old covenant which has long since ended, was with the physical tribes of Israel. The new covenant is with all those who accept Jesus. Which means God no longer deals with the physical tribes of Israel at all, except of course those within those tribes who have accepted Jesus, but it is their faith in Jesus that brings them close to God, not their geneaology. Circumcision does not matter and uncircumcision does not matter. What counts is the new creation. Galatians 6:15, Galatians 5:16, 1 Corinthians 7:19

  35. This is very interesting, I had never heard of the Prophecy of Judah Ben Samuel. I do feel there are some questions presented by this word. I question the belief that the Jubilee cycle itself is a continuous time line. My understanding is that the Jubilee was a civil ordinance given to the commonwealth of Israel to insure that the land remained in the hands of the individual tribes according to their blood line ( also to free slaves and conclude debts ). This ordinance would only be applicable if there remained a commonwealth. So the cycle started with Israel entering the Land, (not with creation) and ended when the kingdoms ended and will probably start again with the Millennium. Also the Sabbatical cycles, both weekly and yearly would be thrown off by the addition of a 50th year. The 50th year would be the same as the first year of the next cycle. Therefore you would have to count by 49 instead of 50.
Something else you might find interesting. Daniel chapter 9 says there are 69 week after the decree to rebuild Jerusalem and the temple until the Messiah. From May 14 1948 when David Ben Gerion; the president of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, declared the establishment of the State of Israel, to May 14 2016 is the beginning of the 69th year. It just happens to be Shavuot.

    David

    August 10, 2013 at 4:53 pm

    • The prophet Daniel refers to 70 weeks of years which is 490 years. The 69 weeks of years till Messiah is cut-off are 483 years and that applied till the crucifixion of Jesus. A generation referred in Mathew 24 could be 70 years or possibly a few more than 70 years.

      • Sorry it took so long to reply.

I’m not trying to start a theory, it was just something I found.

There are other theories, differing from the standard interpretation of Daniel’s 70th week found in chapter 9. The problem is we need more that one scripture to confirm any theory. All it takes is one false detail and it all falls apart, that is why it is a good thing to have sights like this to test all things and bounce are ideas off each other. Plus there are thing that I know that you don’t and you know that I don’t.

I would like to make an additional comment on this topic. The theory that we are in a time line of 6000 years and then the millennium sounds good and preaches well but doesn’t pass the test. It is based on one scripture, Genesis 6:3 to establish 120 cycles (totally out of context and without at least one other scripture to confirm it) and one scripture from 2 Peter 3:8, which says a day is like a thousand years (also taken out of context and not supported by an other scripture) and then a fifty year Jubilee cycle witch I feel I have already cast a great shadow on. As a result of what I like to call numerical acrobatics, we establish a well received but totally wrong theory- 120 x 50 cycles = 6000 years then the millennium.

I also know that numerology doesn’t work. As much as I personally want it too, anyone that I’ve read that makes it work have twisted the numbers destroying all credibility.

There is a better way to understand the prophetic passages in Yah’s (God”s) word. You have to know who the players are.

  39. Anti-Messiah will rule for 7 years. It’s already the end of 2013 and he has not appeared yet. Therefore the messiah who will appear in 2017 canNOT be Yeshua but will be the false messiah. Do not be deceived.

    Franc

    December 4, 2013 at 1:16 pm

    • Actually it doesn’t say that he will rule for 7 yrs. but that he will make a covenant for 7 yrs. that he will break in the middle of the seven years Dan. 9:27 “And he shall confirm brit (covenant) with rabbim for one heptad; and in the midst of the heptad he shall cause the zevach and the minchah to cease, and on the kenaf (wing) of the abominations is one making desolate, even until the complete destruction, a destruction that is decreed, shall be poured out upon the Shomem (Desolator, Destroyer).”

Not for or against, just saying what the text says. The church needs to be purged of the catholic dogmas, and going back to hebraism.

      • Christianity is referred by the Apostle Paul as a branch grafted in the Jewish tree, therefore it is very important to know and understand the roles of the church and of Israel in God’s plan for humanity. To love Israel is the duty of the Christian believer. The enemies of both do not make much distinction from one or the other as Islam a religion from hell espouse death to the Jew and the Christian alike, and in the book of Revelation the Beast tries to destroy Israel first and when it escapes into the desert for the 1260 days it turns towards persecuting does who believe in Jesus.
I am sure that the knowing of Hebrew as well as Greek would be a very good thing to have for those who study the Bible and love the Word. I am also convinced that this ability for language is not what is needed to know the Word and the role to follow with Israel.
The article about Jubilees is interesting but I am not sure that all the #’s are correct. It is my understanding that the exact determination of the moment that time came into existence with the creation of Adam can be that well pinpointed as the article states (3,983 BC).
The time from one Jubilee to the next is not 50 years but 49 years as a Jubilee is the next year after seven Sabbatical years and it is also the first year of the next count so it makes it 49 years between Jubilee to Jubilee.
If God’s plan for humanity is for seven days of 1000 years each then dividing 7000/49 = 142.857 Jubilee’s. If we multiply the rounded number 143×49 = 7007 years. It is speculation in my part but are the seven years of Tribulation not counted in the seven millenia of the plan?
The Antichrist is shown in the book of Revelation for the first time when the first seal is opened and he is the rider of the white horse. At this time he starts to conquer. His rule will peak at the middle of the seven years when the mark of the beast is required of all humans that he can get his hands on.

      • Christianity is not a branch of the tree of Israel. The goyim/ nations are the branch grafted into Israel,. Fed by the tree, it is now part of the tree and not still a branch loose and wild as it once used to be. Until “Christians” understand that they are not a separate tree and make their own traditions, speculation, translations & understanding of walking the way of the Father, will they be able to understand Scripture.

It wont be just Israel escaping for dear life during persecutions, but the true church as well. You cannot separate and make it “separate” branches. One tree being fed by the root:Israel,. Our concern should be first and foremost to learn Torah and follow it the way Y’shuah taught. Celebrating the Moedim (Appointed times) and not just using them as a diagram of events. Then our walk and the expectancy of the return of Moshiach will be a way of life and not just a simple study of guessing times and seasons.

  42. First time here. Its interesting how events are funneling down to the general 2017 time period. I believe the events outlined in the harbinger will play a roll in the end times. Sept 13, 2015 which is Elul 29 will be seven years to the day USA had a warning (2008) and 7 years prior to that to the day (2001). I think judgment is coming to the US in Sept 2015 or at least another strong warning (stronger than the last two). The harbingers are too precise to be coincidence.
