End Times Bible Prophecy News and Articles

Obama will sign in Israel the 7 year covenant that could start the Tribulations March 5, 2013

In the past articles we have made comments about the same subject that will be treated here.

It is the times that we are living that render a fertile prophetic climate where every day seems to be some new prophetic development going on. There are so many significant events that point to one specific prophecy or another that if time was not a factor one could write several articles a day just from the daily news.

Yesterday Mr Stearman of Prophecy in the News daily update video has touched a very fascinating news that could be pointing to the start of the Tribulations.

As I have stated before there is a prophecy written in the book of Daniel 9:27 where the Antichrist signs a covenant for seven years that will start the seven years of Tribulation described in the book of Revelation.

From this prophetic scripture that starts in Daniel 9:24 we see God given Daniel a panoramic view of the time allotted to Israel till the coming Kingdom. The total time given is seventy weeks of years which equals 490 years. But the wording implies that at the end of 69 weeks of years Messiah will be cut off or killed. Christian Bible scholars believe this was fulfilled with the death of Christ on Passover where he became the sacrificial lamb offered for the sins of mankind.  If this count stopped in Passover it is logical that it will start in Passover also. This year Passover is very early on March 25. Let us remember that the week before Passover was the week that Jesus entered into Jerusalem for His final Passover meal. Obama is following the same pattern to mimic Jesus also.

Well one week is left to fulfill and the prophecy is yet future. In the same book of Daniel we see the Antichrist signing a covenant with many for one week which completes the seventy weeks. It is this covenant that the video talks about and that Mr. Stearman refers to in a lengthy explanation. It is my opinion that he is splitting hairs in his distinction of words and that this is the covenant that will start the Tribulations.

The whole video is fascinating to say the least.

The Seventy “Sevens”

20 While I was speaking and praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel and making my request to the Lord my God for his holy hill— 21 while I was still in prayer, Gabriel, the man I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight about the time of the evening sacrifice. 22 He instructed me and said to me, “Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding. 23 As soon as you began to pray, a word went out, which I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed. Therefore, consider the word and understand the vision:

24 “Seventy ‘sevens’[c] are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish[d] transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place.[e]

25 “Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One,[f] the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’ It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. 26 After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing.[g] The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed. 27 He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’[h] In the middle of the ‘seven’[i] he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple[j] he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.[k][l]
