Aug 8, 2015 The storm hit us out of the blue
All day was hot and sunny up until past 5 PM when the dark ominous clouds started forming West of my house.
Without much warning the rain started coming down strong with lighting and thunder really close and without notice the wind picked up to more that 60 miles per hour and we were seeing our loose yard furniture and barbecue moving fast with the wind. The water was copious and falling horizontally as if daring anybody to withstand it. Thoughts of hurricane Andrew 1992 in Miami came to mind as I was seeing what I saw then. The storm left as quickly as it had come and the sun was out again steaming the rainfall into vapor once more and creating the fuel for the next storm.
The aftermath was unexpected, my 25 feet tall papaya tree had been uprooted and fallen over the avocado tree laying there mortally stricken, its papayas on the floor with some hanging on refusing to budge. a big branch of this avocado tree was almost touching the floor.
Two branches of the fruit laden second avocado tree had been snapped unable to bend to the wind with all the fruit. A mango tree branch was damaged also.
Well this storm brought to mind a different type of storm whose dark clouds are seen menacing the USA and the world and as an analogy it will unleash its winds of destruction suddenly and unexpectedly. Such is the nature of the seven years of Apocalypse, evil, devastating and destroying everything in its path.
The time to prepare and heed the call to turn to Jesus Christ is now. Next month may be to late!
