June 4, 2016 Will this summer bring all out war in the Middle East?

As we approach the summer months and the end of spring the question in my mind is are we going to see war against Israel now?

Bill Salus has written extensively on this subject as it relates to several unfulfilled prophecies that appear to coalesce at this time.

France is trying to ram a middle east peace plan to both the Palestinians and Israel and God is responding in kind by sending severe floods to Paris at the same time the conference is going on, but France and the world are incapable to link cause to effect and they will keep acting contrary to God’s Will. They will keep getting hurt more and more. In Genesis 12:3 I will bless those who bless you and will curse those who curse you.

Very good article by Bill Salus.

Is Israel Preparing for War Soon?

By Bill Salus

Over seven years ago, Bible prophecy teacher Dr. David Reagan told me, “Israel will need to get new leaders in place before the Psalm 83 Arab-Israeli war can find fulfillment.” David was interviewing me on his Christ in Prophecy TV show about my book entitled, “Isralestine, The Ancient Blueprints of the Future Middle East.” The book was published in the summer of 2008, and its central theme was the concluding Arab-Israeli war prophesied in Psalm 83.

Isralestine, is the book that got Bible prophecy experts like, Hal Lindsey, Chuck Missler, Dr. David Reagan, Gary Stearman and many others talking about this major biblical war that had been vastly overlooked. The book has since been updated into the “Psalm 83: The Missing Prophecy Revealed, How Israel Becomes the Next Mideast Superpower.”

At that time of our TV interview the Prime Minister of Israel was the Ehud Olmert of the left wing Kadima party. His Defense Minister was the former Prime Minister Ehud Barak of the liberal Labor party. This political tag team was prepared to concede major portions of land to the Palestinians in order to achieve peace. Reagan and I realized that this type of leftist political leadership would not likely lead Israel into a major war like the one described in Psalm 83.

However, presently that type of appeasement oriented leadership has been replaced. With the recent appointment of Avigdor Lieberman to the post of Israeli Defense Minister, Israel is now in a position to engage in a Mideast war if necessary. Prime Minister Netanyahu and his new Defense Minister Lieberman represent the type of conservative leadership that won’t buckle under international pressures to divide the land of Israel.

An Israeli diplomat once informed me that, “Netanyahu and Lieberman often seem to be at odds with each other overtly, but covertly these two leaders are very much on the same political page.” However, another prominent Israeli politician cautioned me in a May 27, 2016 email that, “While they are susceptible to joint effort, they may also profess contradictory positions, which could lead to another rupture.”

The future of the Netanyahu / Lieberman alliance may be uncertain, but their present relationship is causing political shockwaves in Israel and around the globe.

Promptly after Lieberman’s appointment as the Israeli Defense Minister, Ehud Barak said on the Israel’s Channel 10 TV station that Israel has been “infected by the seeds of facism.” He further stated, “What has happened is a hostile takeover of the Israeli government by dangerous elements. And it’s just the beginning.” Promptly thereafter, Israel’s Environmental Protection Minister Avi Gabay (Kulanu) resigned from his post.

Chiming in on the controversy, one op-ed headline read,

With Lieberman as Defense Minister, Israelis Should Head for the Bomb Shelters.” (Haaretz News – May 19, 2016)

Additionally, several members of the international community have expressed their outrage about this bold political move made by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. A few headlines are generally reflective of the global and regional concerns.

Egyptians furious over Israel’s ‘political bazaar’ at ‘expense of the peace process (Y Net News – May 19, 2016)

Palestinians: Lieberman in Cabinet Means No Israeli Partner for Peace.” (Haaretz News – May 19, 2016)

Calls to boycott Israel among Arab reactions to Lieberman in Defense portfolio.” (Jerusalem Post – May 19, 2016)

U.S.: Lieberman appointment ‘raises serious questions’ about Israel’s direction.” (Newsweek – May 26, 2016)

Lieberman’s appointment comes at a time when the French with the strong support of America, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the Palestinians and others are attempting to rekindle the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. Israel has rejected these talks because they are based upon the Arab Peace Initiative of 2002, which Israel has never accepted as a viable plan for peace. Now with Lieberman standing beside Netanyahu it is safe to say that there will be no peace talks under the French proposed plan.

ISRAEL VS. THE PALESTINIANS (The wasp on the wall)

In the scheme of Israel’s dilemmas, the pesky Palestinian problem mostly resembles a mere annoying wasp on the wall. Periodically, the wasp buzzes overhead threatening to attack Israeli citizens. The insect makes a lot of sound but packs a little sting.

As a prerequisite for Mideast peace with this pest, Netanyahu and Lieberman expect the Palestinians to recognize Israel as the Jewish State with Jerusalem as its capital. This non-negotiable demand was the hurdle that collapsed the fruitless efforts of Secretary of State John Kerry’s peace push in 2013-2014. The Palestinians won’t accept this because as part of the Arab Peace Initiative they expect to get East Jerusalem handed to them as the capital of a Palestinian state.

Furthermore, Arab recognition of Israel as the Jewish state eliminates the “right to return” of hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinian refugees into Israel proper. The logic is, “what rightful claims could returning Palestinians have over a Jewish state.” As such, the Palestinians will never recognize Israel as the official Jewish state!

Avigdor Lieberman has made it clear that he opposes a Palestinian state under the present precepts of the Arab Peace Plan and he has made controversial statements about disloyal Arab-Israelis. With statements like the one below, it’s inconceivable to think that Lieberman would tolerate the right of return of any refugees that could potentially spawn terror inside of Israel.

Lieberman: Disloyal Arab-Israelis ‘Should Be Beheaded” (Israel National News – March 8, 2015)
Anyone who’s with us should be given everything – up to half the kingdom. Anyone who’s against us, there’s nothing to do – we should raise an axe and cut off his head; otherwise we (Jews) won’t survive here.”

Israel is hearing some encouraging messages from the Republican presidential front runner Donald Trump. Trump has made the following statements concerning matters most important to Israel:

  • He told the Associated Press that getting a deal to end the prolonged (Arab-Israeli) conflict is “something I’d really like to do.”
    • He has pledged to acknowledge Jerusalem as the capital of the Jewish state.
    • He plans to move the US embassy to Jerusalem.
    • He opposes the current JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) Iranian nuclear deal. Trump believes that it’s a “bad” and “suspicious” deal. (Netanyahu agrees that this is a very bad deal).

Statements like these might encourage Israel to forestall Mideast peace talks until after the results of the November 8, 2016 US elections are known. If the Republicans gain control over congress and the presidency, then perhaps Israel can play the “Trump” card to their favor in the Middle East in 2017.

However, what if Trump loses to a liberal Democrat? What might that mean for Israel in 2017? Could it mean more of the Obama style foreign policy? Can Israel handle four more years of the similar scenario? A recent poll headline addressing this matter summarizes present Israeli concerns:

Israelis Overwhelmingly Rank Obama ‘Worst President for Israel in The Last 30 Years’” (Breitbart – February 2, 2016)

ISRAEL VS. IRAN (The elephant in the room)

If the Palestinian issue is a wasp on the wall for Israel, then the existential threat Iran’s nuclear program poses to the Jewish state is the elephant in the room. Below are a few recent headlines, which are extremely troubling for Israel.

Iran supreme leader touts 9-point plan to destroy Israel.” (Times of Israel – Nov. 10, 2014)

Iranian commander: We can destroy Israel ‘in under 8 minutes.” (Times of Israel – May 22, 2016)

Iran pledges $70 million to Palestinian Islamic Jihad.” (Israel National News – May 26, 2016)

Russia to deliver several S-300 missile divisions to Iran by year-end.” (Reuters – May 19, 2016)

Avigdor Lieberman is prepared to make hard decisions about preventing Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. He believes that Netanyahu’s handling of the issue only proved how isolated Israel is. Lieberman said,

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s way of dealing with Iran’s nuclear issue is “proving how isolated we are.”… “Netanyahu … was obsessed with the (Iranian) nuclear issue. But it’s too much for him. To handle this issue you have to be creative. Determined. To know how to make hard decisions,” Lieberman stated, adding, “Netanyahu has none of those things.” (i)

What does this imply? What hard decisions are Netanyahu and Lieberman ready to make? Will Israel attack Iran’s nuclear sites? Israel does have a history of attacking nuclear sites. On September 6, 2007, Israel conducted a stealth attack on Syria’s Al-Kibar nuclear facility. Prior to that, on June 7, 1981, which was the 14 year anniversary of Israel’s capturing of the Old City and liberation of the Western Wall, Israel performed a surprise attack on Iraq’s Osirak nuclear facility. Will Israel do another such attack on Iran on June 7, 2017 on their 50 year anniversary of taking the Old City?

Concerning the question of Israel striking Iran’s nuclear program, Israel has already been attacking Iran’s nuclear program covertly. In 2010 they employed cyber warfare through the Stuxnet virus and subsequently there was a rash of killings of Iranian nuclear scientists for which Israel has been blamed.

Is Lieberman planning an overt military attack on Iran? At a breakfast meeting in Dallas on December 3, 2013, White house correspondent Bill Koenig and I met with former Israeli diplomat Yoram Ettinger of theEttinger Report. We asked him, “Do you think that Netanyahu will strike Iran’s nuclear program?

Yoram was the Consul General of Israel to the Southwestern States and Ambassador in charge of Israel Congressional Relations in Washington DC. What Yoram said was quite intriguing. His answer was reconfirmed via email on May 27, 2016 and is quoted verbatim below.

Prime Minister Netanyahu has the similar difficult decision to make like his predecessor Menachem Begin. Menachem Begin was the first elected Prime Minister from the Likud party. (1977-1983). While Begin was the Israeli Prime Minister, Iraq’s Saddam Hussein was developing a nuclear program in Osirak.

Between 1980 – 1988 Iran and Iraq were in a war and much of the Western World was supporting Saddam Hussein’s efforts over Ayatollah Khomeini’s. Most of the West had previously supported the Shah of Iran, but when he was deposed by the 1979 Iranian revolution, the West turned toward Saddam and against Iran’s repressive Islamic regime.

On the eve of the bombing of the Osirak nuclear plant, Prime Minister Begin assembled his elite officers and confidants into a confidential closed door meeting concerning Iraq’s nuclear program. Begin asked them the question. “What is your best intelligence on the results and repercussions of an Israeli strike on the Osirak nuclear reactor?”

The responses received by Begin were overwhelmingly opposed to the idea. The concerns expressed by – the heads of the Mossad, IDF Intelligence and Israel Atomic Energy Commission – were, that an attack was doomed to zilch or slim chance of success, would cause a rupture with the USA which may not heal, would bring the entire Muslim world against Israel. Also, it would turn the Western World against Israel because of their support for Saddam Hussein, and would doom Israel to economic and national security isolation and disaster. The chief of the IAF (Israeli Air Forces) – who planned the bombing – was the only determined supporter of the bombing.

Prime Minister Begin thanked each of them for expressing their sincere concerns, but then asked them this single question; “What is the consequence of a non-action against Osirak?”…“Then he answered his own question and said,” “It COULD BE A NUCLEAR WARHEAD HITTING ISRAEL, AND THEREFORE WE WILL STRIKE OSIRAK!”

Indeed, Israel did successfully attack and destroy Iraq’s Osirak reactor. Will Netanyahu and Lieberman attempt to do the same thing in Iran? Interestingly, there is a prophecy in Jeremiah 49:34-39 that may be dealing with this very issue. Jeremiah says that Iran experiences a disaster, which from the details of the prophecy, appears to be the result of a nuclear catastrophe. I unveil this prophecy in my book “Nuclear Showdown in Iran, Revealing the Ancient Prophecy of Elam.”

ISRAEL VS. SYRIA (The bear in the backyard)

If the Palestinians are the wasp on the wall and Iran the elephant in the room, then Syria represents the ferocious bear in Israel’s backyard. Syria is the home of the Syrian Brown Bear. Although this unique bear is mostly indigenous to Syria, some also reside in Israel. However, unlike the Syrian Brown Bear, the Syrian revolution is not welcomed inside of Israel. This conflict in Israel’s backyard to the Northeast has been going on since early 2011 and has caused Israel continued concerns. Israel has had to strike inside of Syria over one-half a dozen times since 2013 in order to prevent Iranian missiles from reaching Hezbollah’s hands.

Early on during the revolution, Syrian president Bashar Al-Assad warned Israel to stay clear of the Syrian conflict. Assad warned that if Israel struck Syria, that Syria would react in like manner.

Syria’s Assad warns Israel on air strikes.” (BBC News – May 31, 2013)

As of yet, Syria has not retaliated against Israel’s aggression. However, with each passing Israeli air strike into Syria, the possibility exists that Syria could strike back. This would likely prove detrimental for Syria now with Netanyahu and Lieberman teamed up together. Lieberman has addressed prior Syrian threats against Tel Aviv by saying that he would destroy the Syrian capital city of Damascus. The rumors of wars headlines below take on a reinvigorating new meaning in light of Lieberman’s new powerful cabinet position.

Assad: Syria Will Shower Tel Aviv With Rockets if Attacked by Foreign Powers.” (Haaretz News – October 4, 2011)

Lieberman warns Assad: War Will End Your Regime.” (Haaretz News – February 5, 2010)

Lieberman: We will destroy Damascus if Hezbollah attacks northern Israel.” (Now Media – June 18, 2008)

This last headline is of particular prophetic interest when you consider the Isaiah 17:1, 9, 14 prophecies, which predict that Israel Defense Forces will some night utterly reduce Damascus to rubble!

The prospects for Israel engaging in a major war continue with ISRAEL VS. ISIS, whose future plans are to destroy Israel and liberate Jerusalem.

Islamic State aims to destroy Israel, ‘liberate’ Jerusalem with Sinai Peninsula terrorist force.” (The Washington Times – May 22, 2016)

This scenario, should it gain momentum, could have prophetic implications and you are invited to read my article called, Is ISIS in Psalm 83?, for more information concerning this possibility.

Referencing Psalm83, that identifies ISRAEL VS. THE ARABS, which was mentioned at the onset of this article, is it possible that this biblical war could find fulfillment as soon as 2017?

Since the Arab Spring, the advent of ISIS and the Iranian nuclear deal the Middle East is imploding and prospects for Israel being drawn into a regional war have increased dramatically. Even Jordan, Israel’s neighbor to the east, is panicked by what’s taking place all around its borders. The fear and torment of Jordan is prophesied about in Jeremiah 49:1-6.

Behold, “I will bring fear upon you (Jordan),” Says the Lord GOD of hosts, “From all those who are around you; You shall be driven out, everyone headlong, And no one will gather those who wander off.” (Jeremiah 49:5)

Diplomacy is failing on every front around Israel and when diplomacy fails war usually ensues! All the various ISRAEL VS. concerns specified above may have factored into Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision to appoint the hawkish Avigdor Lieberman as his new Defense Minister.

Should an epic biblical war occur in the Middle East soon, are you prepared for what could follow? If the war is one of the prophetic wars of the Bible, like Psalm 83 or Jeremiah 49, it will profoundly affect everyone on the planet! End time’s prophecies are globally impacting!

May 14, 2016 Happy 68th Birthday Israel

Today is the birthday of the State of Israel. It was 68 years ago that a nation driven from their land in 70 AD brought its people back to form a new nation with the descendants of that generation and brought back a dead language and the peoples costumes and religion.

This diaspora of the Jews had lasted 1,878 years and at the present time Israel is a thriving and prosperous nation with a strong nation identity but with little or no knowledge of the real reason of their existence or what caused their original destruction in 70 AD.

This nation’s birth is the most significant and biggest key to unlock the Bible prophecies relating to the end of the age or the time most known as the Apocalypse. It is this nation born in May 14, 1948 that is the recipient of all the prophecies concerning the coming of Jesus Christ to establish His 1,000 year Kingdom in Jerusalem, Israel.

The article below expands the details of my introduction to the subject.

Jan 6, 2016 Gary Stearman Things are happening in Syria and Gaza

In this video Gary comments on the things that are happening in the vicinity of Israel and how this is setting up for the fulfillment of end time prophecies.

Our news outlets are highly under reporting these news to obscure the dangers lurking in the middle east.

Aug 27, 2015 Psalm 87 The Lord Loves the gates of Zion and a lot happens in the time between Ezekiel 37 and 38 by Gary Stearman

The world as at the point that the majority of the people hate Israel the chosen nation of God. This is bad for the world as God will enter into judgment with those who oppose Him and Israel.

A very good video by Gary Stearman where he speaks about the lateness of the hour as prophecies are concerned.

Aug 26, 2015 A lot of people want to obliterate Israel by Gary Stearman and Bill Salus

The video by these two Bible prophecy scholars is current and to the point.

It is geopolitical significant and very important to understand the nations involved as well as the minor players in each phase. All the prophecies involve the present nation of Israel in one way or the other and they are yet to be fulfilled.

Absent from the prophecies are many of the big nations of the world and they comprise the non Islamic nations with the exception of Russia.

All the prophecies discussed are from the old testament and only the Rapture is discussed regarding the timing of the wars.

The events of the seven year tribulation period have to be interlinked to the prophecies in the video and the whole prophetic scenario will involve all the nations of the world eventually.

Great video.

The article after the video is about what is discussed in the video.

March 3, 2015 Netanyahu’s speech to Congress and its impact on the major players Part One

The words spoken today by Prime Minister Netanyahu on the US Congress will alter positions and Nations as few words spoken by men can.

The speech is full of information and details on a subject most of us are not informed about and that is of the utmost importance for the direction the world will take in the next few days or months. In the strength of these words the fate of at least three nations hang in the balance and will affect the lives of untold millions. I believe the three immediate nations affected are: the United States of America, Iran and Israel plus the nations involved in the negotiations with Iran. There is no nation in the world that will not be greatly affected by them.

In these words I see the sealing of the path and timing of very significant prophecies of the Bible concerning Israel and Iran that will lead the rest of the Nations in a path to start the Apocalypse and after seven years the return of Jesus Christ as King of Kings and Lord of Lord’s to rule earth. A pretty bold statement to be attributed to one man’s words. But it is these words that will be heard by all the leaders of every nation in the world, and specially those whose countries will be directly involved in this immense conflict that has taken shape today. By his strong clear and excellent presentation he has wrested the path of the negotiations with Iran and introduced Israel and himself as the final determinant of the results of the talks.

Israel is not going to sit idly by as the world negotiates the final destiny of its existence. Most importantly the God of Israel and the creator of the Universe will interfere forcefully in Israel’s behave to guaranty its survival.

Bibi I am sorry to tell you but Israel is not the one who will determine its safety and security but God is. All the nations of the world will eventually go against Israel and find their destruction in the process.

The words spoken will seal the path to the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38-39 as well as Jeremiah 49:34-39 in the very near (this year) future.

The speech:

The Prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu:

My congratulations on your speech and your fortitude of character and convictions that came eloquently across as you spoke.

You had no choice but to speak as you did for many reasons:

First, the very existence of the State of Israel was being negotiated by nations whose policies or leaders were not looking for the best interest of Israel, but were pursuing their interest only.

Second, you could not gamble the destiny of Israel on the results of the elections at the end of March.

Third, the trend of the known factors in the negotiations made it plain and evident that Israel was being railroaded and thrown under the buss in the plain vernacular of our language.

Fourth, President Obama had already shown the alienation he has against the best interests of Israel as you perceive them.

Fifth, the Democratic Party already was antagonistic to Israel even before Obama was elected and proof that you were right was the only people absent were Democrats including six Jews that should be defeated by their supporters in the next election (if there is one). Six is the number assigned to Satan in the Bible and they truly gave their support to the Antichrist Obama.

This will close this part today. May God bless the Jewish Nation and its leaders in this time of trouble for Israel.

Jan 2, 2015 Prophecies of the birth of Israel in 1948. Daniel’s seventy weeks of years

Sherry Vance has detailed the prophetic count of days to the day Israel was born in May 14, 1948.

Sherry Vance (28 Dec 2014)
“Response to Greg W (21 Dec 2014)  “Response to Sherry Vance (30 Nov 2014)””

I have no doubts about “calendar dates” or second-guessing when the Sabbatical cycles or Jubilees occur.  The reason is that history has shown that calculating dates (even when one calendar must be adjusted to accuracy within another calendar) that it all works out – and without that being the case, there could be NO accurate mathematical equations which PROVED certain prophecies were fulfilled, such as the PRECISE DATE that the Lord would be announced as the Messiah on Palm Sunday, April 6, 32 A.D…..or even the prophecy of when Israel would return to the Land.
Please let me illustrate >  First the Seventy Weeks Prophecy and Christ’s Return:
(Again, this may seem ‘lengthy’ but if you truly want to know, then it takes time to read and study it,)
God foretold to the exact day when the Jews would be officially presented their long-awaited Messiah!

                                                        THE PROPHECY
Daniel 9:24-26:“Seventy weeks of years, or 490 years (70 weeks of years) are decreed upon your people and upon your holy city Jerusalem, to finish and put an end to transgression, to seal up and make full the measure of sin, to purge away and make expiation and reconciliation for sin, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint a holy of holies. Know, therefore, and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem until the coming of the anointed one, a prince, shall be seven weeks of years, and sixty-two weeks of years; it shall be built again with city square and moat, but in troublous times. And after the 62 weeks of years, shall the anointed one be cut off (killed) and shall have nothing and no one belonging to and defending Him…”

This prophecy contains 3 parts:

                                                  FIRST PART OF PROPHECY

March 14, 445 B.C. Emperor Artaxerxes decreed to restore & rebuild Jerusalem
+ 49 years first part of Daniel’s prophecy to 396 B.C.
  445 B.C – decree went forth
– 396 B.C. – 49 years ended at
     49 years
                                               SECOND PART OF PROPHECY
Daniel 9:26 > “And after threescore and two weeks (62) shall Messiah be cut off, but not for Himself….”
In other words, the “anointed One” would come some time after the 49 years and would then be killed. This is understood to NOT refer to Jesus’s birth, but to His presentation as the Messiah after the 49 + 62 = 69 Weeks.
His presentation as the Messiah is known as Palm Sunday.  Jesus came to Jerusalem on Passover in the year 32 A.D., which was April 6.
The two periods combined are (7 + 62 = 69 Weeks of Years, or 483 Jewish years, or 173,880 days)
….leaving 1 week (the 70th Week) future.
                69 Weeks                          70 Weeks
  360  Hebrew days in a year                              173,880 days = 483 years/69 weeks
 x 483   Hebrew years ( 7 + 62 = 69 weeks)          +  2,520 = 1 week – future 7 years
173,880 days = 483 years/69 Weeks                176,400 days = 490 years/70 Weeks
When Jesus rode into the rebuilt city of Jerusalem and for the first time openly presented Himself as the Messiah of Israel, the calculated date was April 6, 32 AD: (Palm Sunday)

       The number of days in 69 weeks, (483 prophetic years):  483 x 360 = 173,880 days
To calculate the number of days between March 14, 445 BC and April 6, 32 AD:
On our calendar it is 476 years, 24 days, (1 BC to 1 AD is one year, not two).
            The number of days then is 476 x 365 = 173,740 days
Plus March 14 to April 6……………………………         24 days
Add 119 days for leap years in that period…….119 days
                                                                            173,883 days
The Julian year is 1/128th of a day
longer than the Jewish solar year.
              Multiply 476 years times 1/128,
we get three days. Subtracting………….………………….3 days
makes our calendar line up accurately with
              the 360 yr. cycle)………………………………………. 173,880 days
*The mathematically accurate date when Jesus rode into the rebuilt city of Jerusalem and for the first time openly presented Himself as the Messiah of Israel is April 6, 32 AD., proving there are exactly 69 Weeks of Years (173,880 days) between the decree of King Artaxerxes in 445 B.C to rebuild Jerusalem to Palm Sunday, April 6, 32 A.D.!!
God foretold to the day when Messiah would present Himself to Israel as their Messiah-King.

We see this event recorded in Matthew 21:1-11 :

And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage (the place from which Jesus sent his disciples to find a colt upon which he would ride into Jerusalem; likely on the road from Jerusalem to Jericho and the limit of a Sabbath’s-day’s journey from Jerusalem, that is, 2,000 cubits), unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples, Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.  And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.  All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,  Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.  And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,  And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.  And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.  And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest. And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?  And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

* God had wonderfully foretold to Daniel the exact day on which Messiah was to announce Himself as King. Now tell me, if we keep doubting “calendar dates”, and wresting the Sabbaths and Jubilees out of their scriptural places, how we will ever begin to “know” anything???

Next I will show you another proof of mathematical accuracy which God gave us, foretelling the precise date of Israel’s official ‘return to the Land’ in May 1948.

Prophecies by Ezekiel and Moses pinpoint with precision the date chosen by God as the exact day in time to resurrect the nation of Israel.  This exact date was prophesied thousands of years before in Scripture. Israel’s return to the land after 1,900 years was indeed prophesied accurately…..(therefore the “calendars” had to be correct for us to know!)FIRST > Ezekiel 37:21-22: “And say unto them, ‘Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.'”

This verse shows that it is the will of the Lord to bring them back to their own land and make them one nation in the land.

SECOND > Leviticus 26:23-24: “And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me; Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.”

As a stand-alone verse this is very strange, and when applying it to the history of Israel it seems impossible to fully understand.  However, when we read the Book of Ezekiel we find another strange prophecy that leads us back to God’s prophecy in Leviticus.  It’s through these prophecies that we come to an understanding that May 14, 1948, was the exact date chosen by God for the resurrection of Israel thousands of years before it took place.

THIRD > Ezekiel 4:4-6: “Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity. For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel. And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.”

So, in this rather strange prophecy, Ezekiel is commanded to first lay on his left side for 390 days and then on his right side for 40 days, for a total of 430 days, as punishment for the iniquities of the house of Israel.”

This punishment represents one day for each year. Taken alone, the prophecies in Leviticus and Ezekiel do not take on any specific significance. However, when we combine them, the results are astonishing.

God decreed to Israel a total of 430 years of punishment for her sins against Him. That punishment consisted of physical removal from the land God had promised His people.  Israel’s captivity in Babylon was exactly 70 years as prophesied by the prophet Jeremiah (Jeremiah 25:11-12; 29:10).
Therefore, the first 70 years of Israel’s punishment was completed when the Babylonian captivity ended. By the decree of King Cyrus, conqueror of Babylon, the Jews were set free from their captivity in the year 538 B.C.E. The year 538 B.C.E, therefore becomes the base year with which we begin our calculations: 430 years minus 70 year captivity equals 360 years of remaining punishment to come.”That’s where the Leviticus prophecy kicks in > punishment x 7.

The 360 years needed to be multiplied by seven, for a total of 2,520 years.
                             360   Hebrew years
                              x 7   7 times more punishment
2,520   total years

Using the 360-day Hebrew calendar, that totals 907,200 days.
                                2,520  Hebrew years
                                x 360  days per year
                            907,200 Hebrew calendar days
When converted to the 365-day calendar, the 2,520 years or 907,200 days becomes 2,485 years and five months or 2,485.5 years and months.
When you subtract 538 years B.C.E, you get 1,947 years and five months.
                        2485.47……………………………..or, 2,485 years + 5 months.
365 Greg. days – 907,220 Hebrew days       –   538 B.C.E
                                                                     1,947 years + 5 months.
There was no year zero.

Therefore, the year 1,947.5 we call the year 1948.5.
So exactly 1,947.5 years after 538 B.C.E., we come to the year 1948.5.
May is the fifth month of the modern calendar, and on May 14, 1948, Israel arose from the ashes of extinction to become a nation!
You said it yourself, Greg > “God does not hide His secrets from us, but for us.  Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he reveals His secret unto his servants the prophets.”  So how could He expect us to know what He has revealed if there is no way to calculate those times (according to calendars & dates) or the chronology of His appointed times?  The doubt and confusion that is perpetrated against ‘calendars and dates’ is no different than that which is caused by the doctrine of “Imminency”.  There was, and still is, no doctrine of “imminency” because CERTAIN APPOINTED EVENTS AND THEIR FULFUILLMENT MUST COME FIRST, BEFORE THE LORD RETURNS!  (For instance, how could the Lord have returned before Israel returned to the Land?  (Just sayin’.)
As for your mentioning Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel…”So far he is looking like a prophet with accuracy right up to 1967 – in 50 year increments – which would be consistent with 1917 & 1967.”   May I add something about this in case people don’t know?
Judah Ben Samuel was a legendary German rabbi of the 12th century who made specific predictions about the future of Jerusalem and Israel that came true. He published the results of his biblical calculations (Gematria) and astrological observations and summarized: “When the Ottoman Turks conquer Jerusalem they will rule over Jerusalem for eight jubilees. Afterwards Jerusalem will become no-man’s land for one jubilee, and then in the tenth jubilee it will once again come back into the possession of the Jewish nation – which would signify the beginning of the Messianic end time.”
Ben Samuel’s calculations were purely theoretical; there was absolutely no sign at that time of their being fulfilled. He himself did not experience their fulfillment, for it was 300 years after his death that the first of his predictions were to come true:
The Ottoman Turks seized control of Jerusalem in 1517 (for eight Jubilees) until 400 years later they were driven out of the city and holy land in 1917 (on Hanukah, no less) by the Allied Forces under command of General George Allenby.  From 1917 to 1967 (the 9th Jubilee) Jerusalem became a “No-Man’s Land” under the British Mandate by the League of Nations.
Even after Israel’s war of independence in 1948-49, Jerusalem was still divided by a strip of land running right through the heart of the city, with Jordan controlling the eastern part of the city and Israel controlling the western part of the city. That strip of land was considered and even called “no-man’s land” by both the Israelis and the Jordanians.
Then, when Israel captured Jerusalem in the Six Day War of 1967, exactly one jubilee (50 years) after 1917, Jerusalem passed back into the possession of Israel and the Messianic End Times began…and if Ben Samuel is right, we have been in the 10th (and last) Jubilee before Jesus returns.
Greg, you also said: “Then there is the matter of the Jubilee count.  Is anyone certain?  We know it begins after 49 years and that the 50th year is the Jubilee, but after that, does the next Jubilee count begin with the 50th year or in the 51st year?  Some say that the Jubilee year is the first year of the next Jubilee cycle.  Israel has not kept Jubilees since the Assyrians disbursed the Northern Kingdom.”  Please let me answer that.  Yes, we can be certain of the Jubilee count for the same reasons we can be certain of the calendars and dates!  As you will see in the timeline I will offer in the next post, the Jubilee Year is the 50th year and is also the first year in the next Jubilee cycle.  It is true that Israel has not kept the Jubilee years – yet neither has she kept the Sabbaths – YET THE CYCLES GO ON!….just as they did when God sent them into Babylonian exile SO THE LAND COULD ENJOY IT’S SABBATHS!  And if that wasn’t a true “counting” I don’t know what is, because God released them after His prophesied punishment for not observing the Sabbaths!
So….is 1917 the next Jubilee?  NO, but see for yourself.  In a separate post I’m sending a “timeline” I’ve developed (although I’m excluding the detailed version which also goes into the 70th Week.)  This is simply so one can “see” the dated Sabbatical cycles and Jubilee counting from a paticular time period forward without the detailed historical information contained in those years  And, yes, the dates are reliable for History bears them out.   The truth is, God’s time line of history is revealed in Israel, and to know where we are on that time line, watch Israel.  Keep in mind, as you shall see…the Jewish years overlap our Gregorian years (which is where a lot of people get confused, just as they do with not realizing a Jewish “day” is sunset (evening) to sunset (evening.)  Thus, the years in the timeline are listed from Rosh HaShanah to Rosh Hashanah (head of the new year to head of the new year) and therefore the Gregorian and Hebrew calendars overlap.
It is discouraging to hear people say “too many numbers”, too many possibilities”, or they use the words “alleged” or “absence of true calendar dates”,  or “nobody knows when the true Sabbatical cycles or Jubilees are since the Jews didn’t “keep them”, (BUT GOD DID!).  But I realize not everybody studies in depth and so they don’t get the full meaning.  People think “Good Friday” really is the day Jesus was crucified because they count Fri/Sat/Sun as the three days, not considering where are the three NIGHTS?  They don’t know that the Jewish day begins in the evening and Passover was on a Wednesday that He died….Wed. night, Thurs. night, Fri. night (THREE NIGHTS)….and Thurs. day, Fri. day, Sat. day (THREE DAYS) with the Lamb of God resurrecting after the Saturday Sabbath ended, early in the morning of Sunday, the first day of the week for the Hebrews!
People don’t realize that Jewish days begin in the evening – sunset to sunset.  People don’t realize that everything hinged on God’s Sabbatical cycles and Jubilees from the very beginning!…and even if the Jews didn’t “keep/observe” them, GOD STILL DID — AND DOES!
People say  “no one can know” when He will return because Jesus referred to “the day that no man knows” – which is an idiom that in Jesus’ day actually referred to the Feast of Trumpets (much like our saying Happy Turkey Day when everyone knows you mean Thanksgiving.)
People who are sincerely looking for Jesus’ return hopefully say “His return is IMMINENT!”  Yet they don’t consider that God has “appointed times” (Hebrew > mo’edim) and that Jesus could not have returned before Israel was back in the Land, nor that the Sealed Book of Daniel could have been “opened” and truly understood before the end times began….nor the Bible Codes discovered before the age of computers….nor that iniquity in the last days will wax worse and worse until it is again “like in the days of Noah, when men were evil continually!”
People simply don’t realize that to know and understand the Seven Feasts of the Lord is to know and understand the fulfillment of the history -and future- of the world according to God’s Plan before the foundations of the world were made!  Though the Feasts were appointed unto Israel to observe, they were meant for the WORLD – the Jews were to SHOW the world who God was and what He would do for His people – and ALL people!  Each Feast foretold how God would redeem His entire Creation from the clutches of the evil one….so we would know and understand.  But sadly WHO teaches The Feasts in the churches?  WHO talks about The Feasts in the same way they do in conversations about passing news stories in a passing world?  Ask anybody what they know about The Feasts of the Lord and see what they answer.  THE FEASTS OF THE LORD ARE LIFE!  If you don’t know about them, you don’t/won’t/can’t know what life is about.  Faith -and other such things- cometh by hearing…….but if you don’t HEAR it, how can you know it?
Anyway, I’m sending a subsequent posting of the timeline so that one can readily SEE the passing years according to God’s Sabbatical cycles and Jubilee Years.  The information above concerning the examples of mathematical equations proving God has given PRECISE DATES to know when to expect things is proof (at least to me) that WE CAN KNOW!  As you said Greg, God will not do anything without telling us of it.

Dec 11, 2014 Will Russia, Iran, Turkey and many other Nations attack Israel?

According to the prophet Ezekiel on chapters 38 and 39 of his book this will happen in the end times after the exiles of Israel return to the land. Chapters 36 and 37 describe the return and the conditions that lead to it. In the valley of bones the Jews and the world can recognize Hitler’s Holocaust where the emerging picture of the concentration camps was a pile of bones and bodies thrown together as rubbish.

Well two chapters latter in 38 and 39 we see another attempt by Satan to wipe out the chosen people of God, but the outcome is completely different as He destroys almost completely the invaders.

The article below covers the identity of the Nations involved with their current name.

Russia, Iran and the End Times

By Britt Gillette

I ran across an article last week about the recent drop in gasoline prices. While the recent decline could be attributable to a number of factors, this particular article speculated that Saudi Arabia and the United States are working together to increase production and lower oil prices. Their goal? To punish Russia and Iran economically.

Now, I don’t necessarily accept the article’s hypothesis, but I had to do a double-take when I read that. Why? Because the article inferred that two strategic geopolitical alliances have formed: One featuring the United States and Saudi Arabia and the other featuring Russia and Iran. And why is this such a big deal?

Because 2,600 years ago, the prophet Ezekiel stated that an alliance of nations will form in the latter days, just before Christ returns (Ezekiel 38), and that alliance will include Russia and Iran. Historically, Russia and Iran have never been a part of such an alliance (at least until recently).

The Gog of Magog Alliance

Ezekiel identifies the nations in this alliance as “Magog, Rosh, Meschech, Tubal, Persia, Cush, Put, Gomer, and Beth-togarmah” (Ezekiel 38:1-6). I don’t blame you at all if none of these names make any sense. After all, these don’t sound like the names of any nations on earth today. But keep in mind that Ezekiel named the nations of this alliance as they were known in his day, and each one represents a clearly identifiable nation currently in existence.

In fact, long before Russia became a world power, scholars identified Rosh as the nation of Russia and Gog as its ruler. And of course, right up until the day of March 21, 1935, the world knew the nation of Iran as Persia – the same Persia referenced in the Gog of Magog Alliance. So Persia is a clear reference to Iran.

Below is the list of nations cited by Ezekiel. The Old Testament name is listed first, followed by its modern day equivalent:

Rosh = Russia
Magog = Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan
Persia = Iran
Cush = Sudan
Put = Libya
Meshech, Tubal, Gomer, and Beth-togarmah = Turkey

In the history of the world, such an alliance of nations has never existed. But today we see it coming together right in front of us. Don’t believe me? Just check your history books.

In the 2,600 years since Ezekiel recorded his prophecies, the nations of Russia and Persia have never been part of an alliance of any sort. Until around 1989, economic and military cooperation between Persia (Iran) and Russia had never taken place.

Today, that cooperation continues. Iran and Russia are strong allies. For example, in 1995 the Russian Ministry for Atomic Energy signed an agreement with Iran to finish the Bushehr nuclear power plant. Construction on the plant had come to a stop following the 1979 Islamic revolution. But today, thanks to Russia, work is once again in progress. The two nations continue to strengthen their economic and military ties, and Russia is one of the few world powers that consistently defends the existence of Iran’s nuclear program.

When Will This Alliance Form?

The Bible says this alliance will form and come against Israel “in the latter days” (Ezekiel 38:8). The Hebrew word used in this passage is “acharith,” and it generally translates as the “after-part, latter part, last, close, or end.” In other words, this alliance will form in the last days just prior to the return of Jesus Christ.

Ezekiel uses this same word “acharith” again, when God says He will bring the alliance against the land of Israel “in the last days” (Ezekiel 38:16). And, at the beginning of verse 8, he reveals that this will happen “a long time from now” or “in the distant future.” In other words, this is not a prophecy fulfilled in Ezekiel’s day.

But that’s not all that’s said. Ezekiel provides us with additional clues. In the same passage cited above, God reveals the exact time when this invasion will occur. In verse 12, Russia’s ruler (Gog) says to himself, “I will attack the once abandoned cities that are now populated with the Jews who returned from exile among the nations” (Ezekiel 38:12). Did you catch that? The ruler of Russia (Gog) will attack the land when it’s filled with the exiles who return from among the nations. The target of this future invasion is the modern day state of Israel.

God Himself confirms this when He says the invasion will occur “after Israel’s people have been gathered from among many nations” (Ezekiel 38:8). He says it will happen “when I bring my people home from among the enemy nations” (Ezekiel 39:27). This return home from among many nations has happened only once in all of human history. And our generation is a witness to that event – the 1948 gathering of the Jewish people and the restoration of Israel in the Promised Land.

Today’s headlines point to the fulfillment of the Ezekiel 38-39 prophecies in the near future, and those prophecies point to the fulfillment of all the Second Coming prophecies in short order – within the expected lifetime of many of the people reading this article.

Never before have so many signs of the Second Coming been present. And never before has it been more important to share the Good News. So make sure to tell everyone you know “the Messiah you’re looking for is Jesus” (Acts 5:42), and He’s coming soon (Revelation 22:20)!

July 15, 2014 The problem with Israel is they do not want the Arabs to kill them!!

The short video below is a well articulated and explained synopsis of the problem in the middle east. Mr. Charles Holler ( ) gave us the link below, thanks.

As a consequence of this hatred against Israel which is a supernatural hatred originating with Lucifer (Satan) the whole world will be involved in horrible wars that will decimate up to 65% of the world population. These wars will take place during a period of seven years called the tribulation or the Apocalypse. During this time the true God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and God the Father will protect the chosen ones of Israel (about 1/3 of the Israelis scattered in the whole world .

To those who oppose Israel God will bless those who bless them and will curse those who curse them.
