April 8, 2017 Genesis and Revelation bookends of the Bible

As we prepare to enter Holy week and the coming of Passover and Easter this article by FM Riley takes us back to the beginning in the book of Genesis.

In this week we should meditate in the mysteries that we are going to celebrate and in the greatest gift to mankind the death for the atonement of sins by Jesus Christ our Lord God.

It would be wise to understand that ;the 69th week of years of the prophecy in the 9th  chapter of Daniel ended in Passover with the Messiah cutoff or crucified and that the last week’s countdown could well start now.

Tomorrow FM Riley will probably post the second part in http://www.fivedoves.com

Happy Palm Sunday

The Days of Genesis 1&2

An Exposition of the
The Days of Genesis 1&2
Literally and Prophetically
Part One
By Pastor F. M. Riley

Abib [Nisan] 6, 5777
“Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever: for in six days, the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed,” Exodus 31:16-17.

“Known unto God are all His works from the beginning of the world,” Acts 15:18.

“Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like Me.
Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure,” Isaiah 46:9-10.

Introduction
The Book of Genesis is one of the two most important books in the entire Bible!  The other most important book is The Book of Revelation. Why are these two books so important?
Because Genesis sets before us the beginning of the creation and the origin of mankind.  In order to believe this record of the origin of the earth, the physical universe, and the origin of mankind upon the earth,  one must believe in the reality of Almighty God.  So right at the beginning of His Word, God set up a “test” for mankind.  Sadly, those who refuse to believe this inspired Word, setting forth the origin of the earth and the physical universe, and of mankind, will likely never come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, Hebrews 11:6.
Then the Book of Revelation sets before us the glorious future of redeemed mankind in “the ages to come” [Ephesians 2:6-7], and also the end of evil and the evil one, which has caused so many problems among mankind throughout the past 6,000 years of human history.
It is needless to say that Satan and his followers hate both of these books with passionate hatred.  These are the two books in God’s inspired Word which have come under the most severe attacks by  atheists and other assorted “God deniers”  throughout human history.
Again, why are these two books in the Bible so hated; yea, despised, by those who deny the existence of God, and the Divine Inspiration of His Word?  Because Genesis pulls the cover off of Satan and exposes him for the wicked being that he is, and Revelation glaringly reveals Satan’s ultimate defeat, condemnation, and well deserved end by the hands of God’s appointed Judge, the Lord Jesus Christ; the precious Savior and Lord of all true believers.
Notice that in our Scripture texts for this study, the inspired passage in Isaiah 46 explicitly states that God declared “the end from the beginning.”  I receive this statement as literal truth.  Therefore, it is my intention in these studies to examine each of the days in the week set forth in Genesis 1 & 2, written now 6,000 years ago, to see what can be learned about the end of this age.  My prayer is that this study will be enlightening and a blessing to every reader……..
ETERNITY PAST……
We begin with eternity past.  The expression in Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God,” does not state nor imply the beginning of God.  Almighty God was already in existence before He chose to create.
The question then asked of me numerous times over the 63 years I have been in the Lord’s ministry, is, “Where did God come from?”  My answer is that I haven’t the slightest idea, but I refuse to let the question stop me from believing in and serving the Lord.
The old Patriarch Job asked the same question many centuries ago, in saying, “Canst thou by searching find out God?  canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection,” Job 11:7-8.  Whether some “super smart” men [or women] choose to believe it or not, there are a few things in life that are unknowable, and the origin of God is one of them.  The Lord God Himself, in Deuteronomy 29:29, inspired Moses to write, “The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.”  Therefore, don’t allow this question about the origin of God to interfere with believing on, and loving and serving, the Lord God.  It is explicitly stated in Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.”  Glory to God!  I know this Scripture to be true by my own personal experience of God’s saving grace.  Now let’s move on…..
EXPOSITION OF DAY ONE
Our readers should notice that the Lord God placed only five inspired Scriptures in this first chapter of your Bible describing the first day of creation.  Why just five  Scripures?  Because God is filled with GRACE and love and compassion for mankind, whom He created, Psalm 111:4; John 3:16.  “5” is the number in the Bible which signifies “the grace of God.”
For this study, I am referring to the way these Scriptures read in my Hebrew Bible.
1:1…..”In [the] beginning God created the heaven[s] and the earth.”
In my Hebrew Bible, this statement simply reads, “In beginning God….”  Some translations of the Scriptures render this statement, “In a beginning God….”  Either one of these translations are setting forth the truth of God’s Word in our English Bible.  God existed in eternity past,  before He ever began to create…..
This amounts to the fact that at some point in eternity past, our Eternal God chose to begin the material creation.  Scriptural verification of this truth is set forth in Psalm 41:13, “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting [eternity], and to everlasting [eternity].  Amen and Amen.”  This literally means from the state of eternity which existed in the past before God began to create, to the state of eternity which will exist in the future “ages to come,” Ephesians 2:7.”
There is another point about these days of Genesis 1, which any true believer who desires to “rightly divide the Word of Truth” must know and understand.  Each of the days in Genesis 1 typify 1,000 years of human history.  This is not my opinion!  This is clearly stated twice in God’s Word.
“But beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day,” 2 Peter 3:8.
“For a thousand years in Thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night,” Psalm 90:4.
In serious study of God’s Word, I learned many years ago, that when a truth is stated twice in the Scriptures, it is established by God, and is therefore unalterable.
So here are two inspired Scriptures which plainly state that the Lord regards each period of 1,000 years of human history as only one day in His Great Week, and each day in His week of creation [Genesis 1] as typifying 1,000 years of human history.   Therefore there is a definite correlation between the days in the week of creation, and the chronology of human history.
Caution…..this does not mean that these days in Genesis 1 – 2 were anything more than 24 hour days, just like days are today.  It simply means that each 24 hour day typified a 1,000 year period in human history.  There is no Scriptural authority for making these days apply to just any period or length of time, other than that which is specifically stated in the inspired Word.  Now let’s proceed with our examination…..
In this very first verse in God’s Word, the Hebrew word translated as “heaven” is in the singular in the KJV, and in most other English translations of the Bible.  However, in the Hebrew text the word is in the plural; that is, “heavens.”  Even the Apostle Paul spoke of a plurality of heavens in 2 Corinthians 12:2.  The word as used in Genesis 1:1 is basically speaking of the entire expanse of space above and beyond the earth.
I also want to emphasize to our readers that the heavens and the earth, as originally created were “beautiful,” and ready for habitation by mankind.  In  Ecclesiastes 3:11, the inspired word clearly states, “He hath made every thing beautiful in His time…..”  Then in Isaiah 45:18, the inspired Word says, “For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God Himself that formed the earth and made it;  He hath established it, He created it not in vain,  [tohu…formless; waste; empty; useless; confused; vain], He formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.” See Gesenius Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon, Page 857, Strong’s No. 8414.  Dear readers, this inspired Scripture just explicity states that when God created the earth, it was not in the condition described in verse 2 of this chapter, but rather was beautiful and ready for habitation by mankind.  Are our readers going to believe what God’s Word says, or what some “theorist” claims?  Well…??
1:2…..And the earth [was] became [verb tense] without form and void: and darkness was upon the face of the deep.  And the Spirit of God moved [brooded] upon the face of the waters.
In this Scripture, the word “was” as supplied by the translators is not correct.  Anyone who seriously studies the Hebrew language [and the Hebrew Bible] should know that there is a verb tense in this Scripture.  A verb tense in language always denotes action.  “Was,” on the other hand, is speaking of a condition or fixed state, but the verb tense in this Scripture clearly indicates that due to some action on the part of someone [?], the earth as originally created came into a state of waste and desolation [tohu wa bohu], just as this Scripture describes it.
Therefore an enemy of God obviously brought the earth into such a state of waste and desolation, as stated in 1:2.  Now who could the enemy be, who would do such a thing to God’s beautiful creation?  The answer is obviously Satan, the same evil being who also deceived Mother Eve, and caused sin and death to come upon mankind, Romans 5:12.
Think about this!  Is it just “coincidence” that Adam and Eve were created in the image and likeness of God, and as such were spiritually pure and sinless.  But just as the original earth was brought into a state of waste, desolation, and darkness, so when Satan deceived Eve, and Adam chose to disobey the Lord, spiritual sin and death came upon mankind, and spiritual darkness filled their souls.  Is this correlation just “coincidence?”  Be careful how you answer, for God is listening, Matthew 12:36-37.
I suggest that our readers look at 1 Corinthians 15:47, which Scripture points out that Adam was typical of the earth.  So what happened to the earth as originally created, was similar to what happened to Adam.  Quite obviously, the correlation is not just “coincidence.”
But notice that this Scripture also states, “And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”  The Hebrew word translated as “moved” literally means “brooded,” as a hen broods over her eggs, Matthew 23:37.  In other words, the Lord God was not at all pleased that the earth, as He had originally created it, had been brought into such a state of waste and desolation.  So, just as a hen broods over her eggs to bring forth life, so the Spirit of God brooded over the waters covering the earth, to restore form and life and usefulness to the earth.  Glory to God!  Praise the Lord!  Hallelujah!
1:3…..”And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”
In order to hasten the restoration of the earth to the beauty and usefulness in which God had originally created it, God introduced “light” to dispel the darkness.  This “light” was obviously not the light of the Sun, for the Sun was not brought into this week of creation until the fourth day, 1:14-18.  This “light” which God introduced on the very first day of the creation week is typical of the light of Christ Jesus, whom the Scriptures explicitly state is “the light of the world,” John 1:1-9; 8:12; 9:5.  A true believer can stand in total darkness, and still have “the light of Christ” shining in their heart and soul.  Glory to God!
Across the centuries of human history, men have “discovered” that “light” is very necessary for the maintenace of life upon the earth.  Light is necessary for the purification of the water we drink, of the air we breathe, and for the germination and growth of the plants we eat, and for other vegetation.  Now look at your Bibles, and see that on the second and third days of the creation week, within 24 to 48 hours,  God would deal with the waters covering the earth, and would cause vegetation to grow upon the earth.  There are certain types of vegetation on the earth today, which if deprived of light, will completely die within just a day or two.  Our great and gracious God knew exactly what He was doing when He introduced “light” upon the earth to dispel the darkness, on the very first day of the creation week.  Glory to God!
1:4…..”And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.”
Folks, “light” is good!  It makes a way for us to see how to get around in a dark place.  And it is powerful!  Even a wee candle, when lighted, will overpower the darkness, making it possible to see to get about and do whatever we need to do in a previously dark room.   Do not our readers enjoy the sunlight on a lovely day, much more than day after dreary day when there is no light of the Sun shining?
There is also a spiritual significance to “light” as opposed to darkness.  Light in the Scriptures is typical of that which is good and righteous, as opposed to that which is bad and evil.
1:5…..”And God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night.  And the evening and the morning were the first day.”
God Himself labeled these as two distinct periods of time.  The 12 hours of darkness are called “Night.”  The 12 hours of light are called “Day.”  Each period of time has spiritual significance.
In Psalm 30:5, we read, “…..weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”  It is obvious that this is speaking of periods of time in human history, when there is great sorrow, only to be followed by rejoicing when the “morning” of the “day of Christ” finally dawns upon mankind.  Glory to God!
The Apostle Paul explicitly stated that we New Covenant believers are living in the “night” time of human history, and are headed towards “the day of God,” Romans 13:11-12.  He used this knowledge to admonish true believers to “awake” out of spiritual sleep, “knowing the time…….for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.”  Praise the Lord!  Glory to God!
Then the remainder of 1:5 says,  “And the evening and the morning were the first day.”  In the Hebrew text this statement is literally, “And the evening and the morning became day one.”
Each period of time observed as a “day,” by the early inhabitants of the earth, began at sundown, and proceeded forward 24 hours until sundown the following day.  The modern practice of beginning each new day at midnight, is a practice which was not followed by the early peoples on the earth.
What this tells us is that the first day of the creation week began on what we now call Sunday evening at sundown, and ended 24 hours later on Monday evening at sundown.  It was then Monday evening at sundown when the second day of the creation week began.
THE CORRELATION
Now let’s look at the correlation between this first day of the week, and the first 1,000 years which this first week typifies, 2 Peter 3:8.
This first 1,000 of human history began with the creation of Adam and Eve on the sixth day of the creation week, 1:26-30; 2:7-8.  The Lord God explicitly told Adam not to eat of “the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,” 2:16-17.  The penalty for disobeying the Lord was that Adam would die, 2:17.  But Adam didn’t obey, and brought sin and death upon all of mankind, Romans 5:12.
Notice the exact wording of 2:17, “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”  Some unbelieving critics of the Bible have declared that here is a mistake in God’s Word, for Adam did not die on the day he ate of the forbidden fruit.  Pshaw!  Read 2 Peter 3:8 again, and let the truth stated soak in.  Adam did die in the first 1,000 year day of God’s Great Week.  Adam died when he was 930 years of age, Genesis 5:5.  This was 70 years short of fulfilling the full day of 1,000 years.  Glory to God!  His Word stands correct and inviolate!
Imagine if you can, the entire earth populated by just one family, Adam and Eve and their children.  Now look at the teeming millions of people today all over the earth, all of whom are descendants of that original first family.  How great is our God!
The chronology of mankind from Adam to Noah is set forth in Genesis 5.  The careful Bible student can calculate the years involved from this chronology.  It is obvious that the first “day” in God’s Great Week, the first period of 1,000 years, there were very few people on the whole earth.  There were just a few families multiplying and replenishing the earth, as the Lord had instructed, Genesis 1:28.  It was 1,056 years from the creation of Adam to the birth of Lamech, the father of Noah.
This chronology primarily traces the descendants of Adam who believed in the Lord God and passed the knowledge of God on to their children.  In other words, it basically sets forth the “blood line” of those believers through whom the Lord Jesus Christ would come into the world many centuries later in mankind’s history.
In seriously studying this chronology, it explicitly mentions the first three sons of Adam.
Adam’s firstborn son was Cain, 4:1.  This son of Adam is mentioned 20 times in the Bible, but never in a good sense.  Cain was a type of those who depend on themselves and their own works [the flesh] to justify themselves before God.  I suggest our readers look up the Scripture references to Cain in God’s Word, and carefully study them all.
Adam’s secondborn son was Abel, 4:2.  Abel apparently believed what his father, Adam, told him about God, and sought to love and fear and serve the Lord.  As a result, he was hated by Cain, and became the first martyr for the Lord, brutally murdered by his own brother, 4:8.
Because of Cain’s wicked and unrepentant heart, the Lord God placed a mark and a curse upon him, and Cain became “a fugitive and a vagabond,” 4:11-12.  One might describe him as the first “hippy.”
Since the ground was cursed, and would no longer yield it’s strength to Cain, he then made the choice to become a city dweller, and established the first city on the earth, 4:11-17.  Since that day to the present time, those of mankind who do not want to earn their bread by the sweat of their face [3:17-19], have favored living together with others in cities.  Working at a job in some city, is usually physically easier than laboring on a farm to exact a living from the soil.
Some readers may resent what I have just stated about cities.  But before a reader gets boiling mad at me, perhaps they need to read and explain why all the cities on the earth will be destroyed, with the exception of Jerusalem, during the coming Tribulation period?  And why the Lord God is going to make certain that “the face of the earth” is never filled with cities again, Zephaniah 3:6, Revelation 16:19, Isaiah 14:17, and 14:21?   Well…..??
Then Adam was blessed with yet a third son, whose name was Seth, 5:3.  Seth’s name means “appointed” or “substituted.”  Seth was appointed as the godly seed, in the place of Abel, whom Cain had murdered.
Some of our readers have likely studied about Seth.  According to the traditions of the Israelite people, Seth was a devoted “man of God,” totally sold out to the Lord God.  According to Israelite traditions, Seth was also the man who constructed, or was in charge of constructing, the Great Pyramid in the land of Egypt.  I feel certain that some of our readers have studied about the Great Pyramid in Egypt.  I have neither time nor space to go into detail about it in this study.
I will simply mention that the Great Pyramid is a mathematical and prophetical marvel set in stone.  The design and construction of the Great Pyramid contains information about the earth and the heavens, and even the future of mankind, which was not yet known in the days of Adam and Seth, and which was not even “discovered” until recent times.
The only rational explanation for this, is that Almighty God inspired Seth as he constructed the Great Pyramid, for it can almost be said that the Great Pyramid is “the Bible set in stone.”  Any reader who has never studied the subject, would be blessed by reading some of the many books which have been written about the Great Pyramid.
Therefore Seth was one of the two outstanding “men of God” listed in this chronology in Genesis 5.
The second outstanding “man of God” listed in this chronology in Genesis 5, which deserves the attention of God’s people, is Enoch, 5:18.  Enoch was the son of Jared. and the 7th man in the lineage of descent from Adam, born 622 years after the creation of Adam.  Enoch is the man who wrote The Book of Enoch, which is still in print and available to God’s people to read today.  Every true believer would be blessed by obtaining a copy of this book and reading it for yourself.
Enoch was also the man who lived only 365 years, and walked so close to the Lord, that the Lord “took him,” 5:24.  In other words, Enoch did not die, but rather was “raptured” off the earth into the Lord’s presence in glory.  As such, he stands as Scriptural proof of the reality of the rapture for God’s people.  Glory!  Glory!  Glory!
Since Enoch was born 622 years after the creation of Adam, and “God took him” 365 years later, then his rapture occurred 987 years into the first “day” of God’s Great Week.   Glory to God!
Conclusion
Dear readers, we who are living on the earth today are so close to the coming of Christ “in the air” to rapture His New Covenant saints to glory, that every reader of this study should be living for the Lord every day.  At any minute of any day now, our Lord could come for us.  Are you
a true believer?  Do you have the assurance of forgiven sin and salvation in Christ Jesus?  If not, why not?  The way of salvation is repeatedly set forth in God’s Word, and all the Lord is asking of you is to believe, Acts 16:30-31.
Read Luke 21:36,  John 3:16-18, 5:24, 14:6, Acts 4:12, Romans 10:8- 13, and get the salvation of your eternal soul settled with the Lord today.   May God grant you His GRACE is my prayer.

June 11, 2016 Is the Christian church Raptured tomorrow June 12, Pentecost (Sivan 6, Shavuot)?

Will this be one of the last posts for this blog as the Rapture of the church may be tomorrow June 12, or Sivan 6, 5776 the year of Jubilee?

Well as Gary Stearman and Bob Ulrich so beautifully explain in their video the feast of Pentecost is full of blessings and important things for God.

If it does happen that tomorrow the church of Christ will join the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven and you find yourself not taken and wondering what happened, I hope you can find the answer in the video and in this blog as well as on the links that are provided.

Something very important will follow the Rapture and it is the clearing the way for the forces of evil to succeed and bring the world to the reign of Satan’s son the Antichrist for a period of seven years.

People will still be able to save their souls by accepting Jesus Christ as their savior at this time as the world will be forced to choose between Satan and Jesus with no position in between to remain neutral.

April 18, 2016 A research timeline study for the Rapture on May 17/18 and the Tribulation on May 27/28 by Judith

To my readers I am recommending that you take this study close to heart as there are gold nuggets in the discoveries Judith has presented.

As any timeline derived from studies and prophetic types it could be wrong, but if she is you gain everything by preparing to meet the Lord next month even if He delays His coming, but hope is kindle and encouragement is given with the anticipation of the final glory for our bodies manifested.

Thanks Judith!

First Trump & Last Trump Study

FIRST TRUMP & LAST TRUMP STUDY

THE FIRST TRUMP –

As shown in the 2520 year study – (see March 27, 2016 Five

Doves Letters) the Exodus ocurred in the 2520th year from

Adam. Passover ocurred on March 14 and the Exodus to the

Promise Land was the next day on the 15th – (see Ex. 12:41).

Link:

http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/mar2015/judith315-3.htm

They arrived Mt. Sinai “on the very day” meaning on the same

date (14th) in the third month (May 14/15) – (see Ex. 19:1-2).

In Ex. 19:10 – 11 the Lord tells Moses to “consecrate the people

today and tomorrow and have them wash their clothes and be

ready by the third day (May 17/18), because on that day

the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all

the people”.

The FIRST TRUMP then ocurred on May 17/18 – (see Ex. 19: 16)….

“On the morning of the third day there was thunder and lightning,

with a thick cloud over the mountain, and a VERY LOUD TRUMPET

BLAST” = THE FIRST TRUMP!

Before we can continue with the LAST TRUMP part of the study

there is one other date which has relevance to this study. That

date is October 11/12 and can be found in “God’s Calendar Study” –

(see March 27, 2016 Five Doves Letters). In that study the date

for the Crucifixion found on the 365.25/day calendar was March

14/15. That date corresponded to Aug. 27/28 on the 360/day.

From the Crucifixion to the Resurrection = March 17/18 (Aug. 30/

Sept. 1 on 360/day). Then the ASCENSION ocurred on April

26/27 OCTOBER 11/12 on the 360/day).

Now we can continue with the next portion of this study…….

THE LAST TRUMP – & Possible Rapture Date

IF, the Rapture were to occur on MAY 17/18, 2016 then the

corresponding 360/day would be OCTOBER 11/12, 2045. So,

what is remarkable is the LAST TRUMP would be on the same

date as the FIRST TRUMP. Also, the corresponding date of

OCTOBER 11/12, 2045 would occur on the ASCENSION date –

the same date Jesus ascended into heaven.

THE TRIBULATION –

By adding 10 days to the above calculations, another possible

date for the Tribulation could be OCTOBER 21/22, 2045 or

MAY 27/28, 2016.

The OCTOBER 21/22 date was the date for PENTECOST on the

360/day calendar – (see God’s Calendar Study). It is also the

initial date for the BALFOUR DECLARATION OCTOBER 22

which would complete 100 years or two JUBILEE cycles.

MAY 27/28 was the date for the first PASSOVER when the

Israelites first arrived in the PROMISE LAND – GILGAL – (see

God’s Calendar Study).

http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/mar2016/judith327-1.htm

Link:

http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/mar2016/judith327-l.htm

In conclusion I’d like to offer some perspective as to why I have

continued with these date speculations.

God has pre-ordained a special day for the Rapture. What that

date is we cannot know with any absolute certainty, but what

we can know is when the time is approaching and the nearness

of the hour. We have been given so much in bible prophecy that

offers encouragement and incentive to watch, and be faithful in

all we do. That alone is enough evidence to keep us alert and

joyful while awaiting His soon return. However, there is more

and that includes the specific dates that is provided in scripture

that seems to have or might have some significance as to when

the Blessed Hope will finally arrive. Those dates include major

events such as the flood; feast days; the Exodus timeline; not to exclude the Babylonian Captivity and the Birth of Jesus and the

special dates that follow.

It appears that God was specific with certain dates and gave

enough information with them possibly for us to formulate

certain patterns and cycles as many have done throughout the

intervening years.

I repeat, while we may not know the exact day or hour of His

return, we can ascertain through prophecy and various timelines

the approximate time – especially as we see the day approaching,

and what is gained by our continued examination of when that

day could possibly be is a blessing for those of us who are watching

and waiting.   Also, it serves as a reminder for those who would

scorn our efforts and may even cause an interest and return to holy

living as a certain awakening may occur by our continued per-

severance in sounding the alarm. So, I offer no apologies for

all that I’ve submitted in the past and will continue to offer when

new information can be shared.

Finally, many of us know the joy we share together as we remain

faithful in our watchfulness – not to mention the fun we have with

the challenge of being effective in our cause – which is to proclaim

His Holy Name and Blessed Hope……….our going home.

So whether we are to be awakened to rise or remain alive at His

soon return, we have a strong sense of expectancy which is a joy

unspeakable and full of glory – something the world cannot

understand.

May our efforts be productive and fruitful is my prayer.

🙂

March 24, 2016 Why today is the true Passover this year and not on April 23!

The fallowing article explains very well the reason why the year started in March 9 at night so Nissan 1 fell on March 9-10 and Passover on March 23-24 today.

Last night there was a blood moon eclipse making it another consecutive year where the eclipses have fallen on Passover and Sukkot which makes a sextet of blood moons falling in sacred Holidays of our Lord.

This makes this year also a year of Perfect Order which means that the feasts of the Lord fall on the exact days that they were instructed to Moses and the same dates occurring at Jesus crucifixion.

I see also the possibility of the Rapture to be on Pentecost as well as next Sunday on Easter. Thanks Greg for your wise words.

Did God Intend a Sextet of Blood Moons ?

Did God Intend a Sextet of Blood Moons ?

The 2016 Jewish Calendar is Wrong

How does God reckon the seasons ?

Genesis 1:14 says “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years:”   Therefore, the sun and the moon are used to measure time for seasons, days and years.

When God prepared Israel to move out of Egypt,  he began His teaching in preparation of the first Passover.  This was to be Israel’s first month for calendar reckoning. (Exodus 12:2)    In the tenth day of this month each family was to choose a lamb.  On the fourteenth day, the Lamb would be killed and the blood applied to the door lintels of each family’s home.  This was the preparation for the Lord’s Passover, the night the first born of Egypt would be killed as a judgment against all gods of Egypt.  All those covered by the blood of the Lamb would be “passed over” and saved from the angel of death.

Following Passover, God established the Feast of Unleavened Bread, a seven day feast, where all leaven would be purged from each home.  Leaven represented sin.  The first day and last day of this feast was to be an holy convocation.  This is an everlasting ordinance for Israel.  The month Israel came out of Egypt was Abib, or Nisan. (Exodus 13:4)

The Feast of Unleavened Bread was for a sign upon Israel’s hand and a memorial between their eyes, that the Lord’s law may be in their mouths because it was with God’s mighty hand that He brought Israel out of Egypt. (Exodus 13:9)

Israel was commanded to keep this ordinance (the Feast of Unleavened Bread) in his season from year to year.  This ordinance was emphasized again in Numbers 9:2 where the “children of Israel were commanded to keep the Passover at the appointed season.

The Scriptures do not provide for a “leap year” alteration of the seasons.  When Israel came into the land which God gave them, these feasts to the Lord were aligned with the agricultural seasons.  We see this in the Feast of First Fruits.  This feast celebrated the barley harvest which generally occurred after the Spring Equinox in the first month.  This is our month of March.

Following the feast of First Fruits was the Feast of Weeks or Shauvot  which was celebrated 50 days later.  This was in accordance with the wheat harvest.  Any change in the seasons, particularly by a month, would necessarily interfere with the stages of growth of the barley and wheat harvests.   Both of these are highly significant for the First Fruits “wave sheaf offering” (Leviticus 23:10-11) and the Shauvot “two loaf wave offering” (Leviticus 23:16-17).  The grains which were used ceremonially in Temple practices would be past harvest if delayed an additional month.

The Jewish tradition of adding a thirteenth month of Adar II to account for a leap year, as they have done in 2016,  is without biblical support.  Adding a leap year to the Jewish lunar calendar is an attempt to align their lunar calendar with the solar calendar.   The application of the traditions of men over the literal teaching of Scripture produces error.

Therefore, the Scriptures teach that the first month is associated with the Spring Equinox in spite of the Jewish leap year tradition.  In Year 2016, the new moon signaling the first month of Abib or Nisan appeared on March 9.

The Spring Equinox falls on March 20 or Nisan 10.  Passover falls on Nisan 14 which is March 23/24, 2016.

Jewish reckoning of the Leviticus 23 feasts in 2016 will result in each holy day being celebrated one month late.  Relying on Israel for any prophetic insight is unwarranted.  God says they have a spirit of slumber such that they should not see and should not hear. (Romans 11:8)

Why is this important ?   It is important because the seven feasts are prophetic.  God’s plan follows the prophetic pattern and teaching of these seven feasts.  If we know the correct feast day, we can be wise watchers.

Did God intend a sextet of Blood Moons rather than the tetrad of 2014/15 ?   Are we missing some materially important prophetic message ?   Torah Calendar has Nisan in March, unlike the Jews who place it in April this year.

There are two lunar eclipses in 2016 occurring again on Passover and Tabernacles when we follow the Scriptures command to keep the feasts in their respective seasons.   These 2016 blood moons, together with the tetrad of blood moons for 2014 and 2015  are unique.  Now the six feast day blood moons of 2014, 2015 and 2016 become a Sextet of Blood Moons.   This may have profoundly significant prophetic implications.

Additionally, the 2016 Feast of Pentecost commences on the evening celebration of Israel’s day of national independence, May 14, 2016.

As for me, I am watching Pentecost 2016 as a potential “rapture” window for the Church.  The weekend of May 14/15, 2016 is a watch date.

As I have written in the past, a Jewish Independence Day/Jewish Holy Day removal of “Christ’s Own” (1 Corinthians 15:20-28) could be the event which, in part, fulfills Romans 11:11.  Could it be the Day of Provocation to Jewish jealousy ?

March 8, 2015 Will Obama make a seven year covenant on March 22 using the UN to ram it to Israel?

Obama to Make Desperate Last-Ditch Bid for Mid-East Peace by Way of Israel Enemy – the UN

“I will gather all nations and will bring them down into the valley of Yehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there for My people and for My heritage Yisrael whom they have scattered among the nations and divided My land.” Joel 4:2 (The Israel Bible™)

As his term runs down, US President Barack Obama plans to make one more desperate bid for peace between Israel and the Palestinians by way of an international body known to be hostile to Israel – the United Nations (UN).

According to a report from the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), Obama’s last-ditch effort to revive Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations is likely to include a UN Security Council resolution which would set a framework for a viable deal.

Such a resolution would demand concessions from both Israel and the Palestinians, the WSJ reported senior US officials as saying, despite the Palestinians’ historical refusal to make any concessions whatsoever.

The UN move would be a welcome one to the Palestinian Authority (PA), headed by Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, which has pushed for the establishment of an international body to mediate peace talks, preferring to appeal to external parties who may be more sympathetic to the Palestinian cause than to deal directly with Israel.

Israel, on the other hand, has rejected external interference from non-concerned parties in the belief that direct talks are the best way to an agreement. The most recent outside push for talks came from France, which put forward a plan for resuming negotiations while simultaneously threatening to recognize the Palestinian state out-of-hand if no terms were reached. The French plan was dismissed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who said it was “doomed to fail.”

Adding insult to injury, the United Nations is widely recognized as unfairly critical of Israel, which has been subject to disproportionately more UN resolutions than any other country. The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) has directly blamed Israel again and again for violence and unrest in the region.

Travel through 3,000 years of Jewish history

In January, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon justified the ongoing wave of Palestinian terror against Israel by announcing, “It is human nature to resist occupation.” If the UN were to mediate a peace agreement, there is little doubt that its anti-Israel bias would deeply color proceedings.

The WSJ report added that other initiatives under consideration in Obama’s final grasp at Middle East peace included a presidential speech or a statement from the Quartet (comprised of the US, the European Union, the UN, and Russia).

Compromises suggested by the proverbial UN resolution could include Israel freezing construction in Judea and Samaria and acknowledging East Jerusalem as the Palestinian capital on one side, and Palestine recognizing Israel as a Jewish state and giving up right of return on the other.

A land swap would be implemented, with Israel withdrawing to pre-1967 borders.

The Bible firmly establishes Judea and Samaria, today known as the West Bank, as within the historical borders of the God-given land of Israel, and a prophecy in the Book of Joel warns that all nations which seek to divide Israel will meet judgement. However, Israel’s ancient claim goes largely unrecognized by modern world powers.

Israel has yet to respond to the possibility of such a plan. Past efforts by the Obama administration to mediate peace between Israel and the Palestinians have failed, and most Israeli officials do not see Obama, whose relations with Netanyahu are frosty, as a friend to Israel.

Feb 24, 2016 Will the resurrection and the Rapture be next Month on Feast of First Fruits Easter?

Douglas Henney has presented us in a six parts series with his thoughts of what is coming in the near future and in the next seven years of Apocalypse.

A very good dissertation of what is to come with some unusual points of view a some Bible based speculation. Very possible scenario although not all can I agree with.

Thank you Mr. Henney for very good thought provoking articles.

Feb 23, 2016 Will Asteroid 2013 TX68 hit earth bringing three days of darkness and the Rapture

A very good article by Douglas Henney ties the Jubilee year and the Asteroid passing close or hitting the earth about two weeks from now. The study of three days of darkness in the Bible is very good, thanks Douglas.

Douglas Henney (21 Feb 2016)
My thinking for the upcoming months, part one.

I take in end times and prophecy information from a variety of sources, in addition to my own Bible study and reading.  What I try to do is put all the valid insights/pieces into a “whole”.  What follows is my own assorted thoughts about the coming months and the next couple of years.  Take the following to God before putting any weight on any of it.

I believe the Jubilee, though it is announced in the seventh month on Yom Kippur, does not actually begin until Nisan in the following spring.  In Exodus 12:2 God told Moses that the first month for them shall be the month that the Passover falls within.  This applies to the Jubilee year as well.

The Jubilee announcement in the fall allows for a formal transition time. Some folks in Israel would need to leave their current servitude type of employment, and set up their home back in their original family’s allotment of land within their tribe’s allotment, for example.  This could not be done in a day.  It took time.  Also, the Yom Kippur announcement of the Jubilee would prevent folks from attempting to do the transition early and thus causing confusion/disruption in the nation.  Contractually obligated servitude to “pay back” debt  had to have a definite ending time.  Thus, formally, folks were allowed to begin the transition after the Day of Atonement.  Perhaps the timing of this, being right after that Feast that calls for repentance, set the nation up with a proper/holy frame of mind so as to not disrespect or take advantage of each other during the transition, but to support one another.

The Feast of Tabernacles could then be celebrated with folks actually being back in their allotted portion of their tribe’s land, living in temporary shelters, while anticipating the transition in the coming months and also the fullness of the Jubilee year arriving in the spring – their new beginning.

This transition time would then come to a close in days before the beginning of the month of Nisan.  Keep in mind, that no one knew the day or hour ahead of time when the new moon would be sited so as to start the Jubilee year.  There would have been great anticipation of when the Jubilee officially and totally arrived.  Life would be different from that point on, a fresh start.

So, one possibility I am wondering is if we will go home right when the Jubilee year starts this year.  It is just a thought.

What is interesting to me is the these few days just before Nisan started are possibly when the 9th plague in Egypt also took place, the three days of darkness.  Compare Exodus 11 with what God tells Moses in Exodus 12 about Nisan and the upcoming Passover.

I observe in the scriptures that a time of three days of some type of darkness has been used multiple times by the LORD so as to confront people with their lives and to force on them a timeout of sorts to reconsider their ways.

One time was this ninth plague.  I wonder how many Egyptians after being isolated from one another for three days, reflected on the difference between their gods and the God of the children of Israel, and then later decided to go with Israel during the Exodus.  In other words, it was three days to face themselves, to accept the fact that they were truly vulnerable before the Creator God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to repent, and come out of it thinking in terms of making a change in one’s life.

I think of when Saul (later Paul) had been confronted by Jesus on the road to Damascus.  He was struck with blindness for three days, also being sat down doing nothing of what he had been doing up to that point, evaluating how his entire understanding of Jesus was totally wrong, seeing how in all of his efforts and self-discipline all he was able to accomplish was to end up living as the true Messiah’s enemy.  During the three days he fasted, seeking God.  He repented and was given a new start.

I think of Jonah, fleeing the direction from God because he did not want to see an enemy of Israel have an opportunity to come to repentance.  A large fish swallowed him for three days.  Jonah was closed in.  His hope for life was removed.  All he could do was face himself.  He was forced to look into the mirror.  He was humbled before the Great I AM.  He repented and was given a second chance.

I think of the disciples who followed Jesus with quite a mixture of motives.  When Jesus was in the grave, they had three days of wondering what happened.  They were confronted with how their self-centered expectations were not in line with what God was about.  They were brought to an end of themselves.  When Jesus revealed Himself to them, they were able to experience a new start of knowing Jesus and receiving the Holy Spirit.

I wonder/speculate if perhaps God will do something similar in our day, that He will give the nations, or a portion of the nations a large scale time out of darkness lasting for three days.

I think of the timing of the 9th plague of Egypt, being possibly right before the beginning of Nisan, and how this year the anniversary of those same three days would fall on or about March 5th through the 9th, somewhere in there, give or take.

Along with this conjecture, I tie in the following:

Something I am watching is the close fly by of TX68, an asteriod that flew by the earth back in 2013 and will be coming by during the same window of March 5th through the 9th, this year.  It is going to be very close.  The JPL site that monitors close fly-bys, has a condition code of 8, at this time, on a scale of 0 to 9, with 0 being very certain of the object’s projected fly-by distance and a 9 being extreme uncertainty.  It is not really known at this time how close TX68 will fly by.  Right now, it could go by underneath our geostationary satellites’ orbits.  With a condition code of 8, there is also a possibility it could hit the earth.  At this time the JPL site presents a two day window on the fly-by which is quite large. The earth travels on its orbital elliptic quite quickly, hence increasing the possibility of an impact.

TX68’s size is such that if it does hit, it will not be an extinction level event.  But it would cause some devastation in the area of impact.  If it hit in the ocean, there would be a large tidal wave generated, for example.

What makes TX68 interesting to me is it’s timing and also something I came across prior.

The potential of an asteriod impact causing a time of three days of darkness for a part of the world.

I am thinking in terms of the testimony of a Puerto Rican pastor Elian Rodrigez (sp?).  He has posted on YouTube over the years.  He has presented just such an event.  He expresses that God has revealed this to him years ago when he was a young man.  He gives quite a bit of detail, including a resulting period of three days of darkness for those of us in the Unitied States.

When I heard the detail of three days of darkness in his account of what God revealed to him, my ears perked up because of the Biblical patterns of what God does to provide an opportunity of repentance before a time of change.

I have kept the Pastor’s account on the shelf, in the back of my mind, so to speak.  I sensed him to be sincere, though I could not know for sure if what he was expressing was valid.

I am wondering if perhaps TX68 might be what he was referring to, so I am watching.

I believe that the Jubilee year starts this coming Nisan.  I am aware that the Jewish communities are assuming an Adar 2, or a thirteenth month, and so they think/understand that the new year will begin in April with Passover taking place on/about April 21st, and Firstfruits on that 24th.

Though their understanding of the timing may be correct, I am not convinced of this.  It is possible that Nisan begins in March, on or about the 9th, with Passover taking place on or about the 23rd, with Firstfruits (the anniversary of Jesus’ resurrection) on the 27th.

I am wondering if this year we may be going home.  I am wondering if we might experience a major event with TX68, that will be a time for us to focus our hearts on Jesus and to get the attention of others in the body of Christ that a time of change within the Jubilee year is soon upon us.

I have been wrong before in my anticipation of endtime events unfolding in a certain way in a given year, and have done this many years.  So, I am only a member of the body of Christ, sharing my thoughts with you, asking that you take anything I say to the Lord in prayer.  Only He is our true teacher.

With so many nations “on the road to Damascus” with their build up of military forces in that area, I wonder if the Creator may do something similar to what He did to Paul, and during the three days of darkness, or right before then, Jesus may personally reveal himself to many individual muslims and jews in that area of the world.  So, if we ever have three days of darkness, yes, it is a time to focus our hearts on only Jesus, but it will also be a time to intercede for those in the world, for the Creator will be very active.

I will be posting a part 2 in the future.
