June 19, 2017 The Rapture this September 21 Rosh Hashanah?

with one comment

A very detailed and possible timeline for the date that Jesus will return for His bride the Church. Numbers are very important to God and He uses them as signs and to mark the dynamics of motion of celestial bodies with precision and predictability. Nothing is left to chance and everything is known ahead of time.

This Just Has to be the One

I was “all in” for the Rapture happening two years ago on September 23, 2015, and nothing happened.                 I felt like the proverbial bride who was stood up at the altar and it really hurt because I really believed. Now I understand that there had to be a 2 year warning. Jesus return this time around seems to bare many similarities to His first appearance.                 There was a lot of heavenly activity in the nighttime sky 2 years prior to His birth and we are now seeing a repeat of many of these same patterns.

We have to be very close to the rapture. In Matthew 24 Jesus gave us a time frame for His return and the completion of all End Time events. That time frame is on the verge of expiring.

The Book of Revelation, as revealed to John by the Holy Spirit, is dedicated to End Time events. Chapter 12 of Revelation deals with a sign in the heavens that is going to come to fruition this September 23rd. It has never happened before in all of human history and it will never happen again. This sign has every indication that it deals with the Rapture of the Church.

Just because something has never happened before in human history and will never happen again, it is not proof positive that it signals the Rapture of the Church. If this were the alignment and/or conjunction of 4 or 5 stars or planets I could easily dismiss it as an extremely rare coincidence. However, this great sign in the heavens is so much more. Over and above what makes this event unique in all of history, God has linked significant day counts between this sign and other historical events as well as other significant heavenly signs. God even threw in a very unique and spectacular comet to point directly at the sign as if to say “LOOK!!!!” on this one specific day.

Three-and-a-half days before this great sign takes place there is another unique sign taking place in the heavens and on the earth that has never happened before in all of human history and will never happen again. It involves the Great Pyramid and its alignment with Christ’s birth place along with significant planets and stars. That alignment occurs at dawn (local time) on September 20th at precisely 5:42:24.333 AM.

The Bible seems to mention the pyramids in conjunction with “signs and wonders” (Jeremiah 32:20a, Isaiah 19:19-20). The truth is that somebody (human or supernatural) had to build the pyramids and they obviously had a reason for doing so. We do not have the technology to align and build the pyramids today, so it is a pretty safe bet to say they were not built by a bunch of ancient Egyptians with whips forcing a bunch of slaves to construct them. It would also be relatively safe to say that their purpose was not to be tombs for some kings. When the Great Pyramid was first opened by Calif Al Mamoun in the ninth century AD it was empty. There were no mummies or treasures inside. Likewise, there were no hieroglyphics inside either.  Ancient historians, such as Josephus (Josephus, Antiquities, i 2) as well as others, place the time of construction before the Great Flood of Noah’s time. This would suggest that the pyramids were built during or shortly after the time that Adam and Eve walked the earth.

So the question remains as to who built them and why. Apparently several thousand years ago somebody felt that something so important was going to happen at dawn on September 20, 2017, that it justified the time and effort necessary to build the Great Pyramid at Giza, the Giza Necropolis Pyramid, and the Pyramid of Menkaure. Let us remember also that the Sphinx is part of this complex to mark this one specific time in all of history.

The once-in-all-of-history alignments of the pyramids and the once-in-all-of-history alignments of the Great Sign of Revelation 12 are bookends for the Feast of Trumpets of 2017.                   The Feast of Trumpets is a very unique Jewish day of appointment with God (moed) each year and yet it seemingly has no real purpose (at least yet). It does, however, encompass a very long list of characteristics, customs, and traditions that link this divinely declared annual appointment with God with the Rapture of the Church. This, in itself, seems very strange and out of place since the Jews do not believe in Jesus as their messiah.

The Feast of Trumpets is the Jewish New Year and is celebrated over a 2 day period. The first month of this New Year is called Tishri. The first day of Tishri on the Hebrew calendar will be September 21, 2017, on our calendar. This is the date that all of the arrows seem to be pointing toward.

What other arrows are there that point to the year 2017 and to this September?

On the Jewish calendar we are in the year 5777.                 As I will point out shortly, numbers are important to God and numbers are also important in the Bible and in Judaism.                 For example, 5 is the number for grace while 7 is the number for divine completion and perfection. When a number is repeated, it signifies emphasis. To put three of the same number together signifies maximum emphasis. To a good Jew, the number 5777 would mean the divine completion and perfection of grace.                 As a good Christian, we would say this would signify the end of the Age of Grace. Most eschatologists who study End Time prophecy would tell us that the Rapture of the Church will occur at the end of the Age of Grace.

On the Feast of Trumpets we go from year 5777 to year 5778. The number 8 signifies new beginnings.

We appear to be in what the Bible would define as a jubilee year. Based on calculations using information taken from the Bible it would appear that we are in the 120th jubilee year.

In Genesis 6, God told Noah something very interesting when He said:

My Spirit shall not always strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; nevertheless his days shall be 120 years.

Did God mean that man’s days shall be 120 jubilees??

A jubilee occurs every 50 years, so 120 jubilees would put us at the 6,000 year point. Many of the early church leaders believed that God has a 7,000 year plan for mankind. Therefore, if there is a 1,000 year millennial reign of Christ, then we are at the very door of the Rapture.

There are other places in the Bible that seem to tie the Great Sign in Revelation 12 to the Rapture of the Church. The following are a few examples:

Isaiah 66:7-8 talks about a woman who delivers a male child before the pain of childbirth. Without going into a long dissertation on the matter, I will summarize by saying that these verses dovetail nicely with the events of Revelation 12 and thus act as a confirmation.

Micah 5:2-3 God seemingly says that God will turn His attention aside from Israel “until the time when she who is in labor will give birth.” This is a direct reference to the woman who gives birth in the Great Sign of Revelation 12. We know from 2 Thessalonians that the Rapture will occur when the Restrainer is removed, and then God will turn His attention from the Gentiles back to His chosen people, the Jews.

1 Thessalonians 5:3 says “For when they say, “peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.” Most eschatologists believe the Rapture will occur just prior to the Biblical “sudden destruction.” Additionally, we have the reference to the labor pains of the pregnant woman as in Revelation 12. This is a very interesting verse. It just so happens that the International Day of Peace (“Peace Day”) as established by United Nations resolution 36/37 in 1981, is observed around the world each year on September 21st. The U.N. General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to “commemorating and strengthening the ideals of peace both within and among all nations and peoples.” This year, the Feast of Trumpets also coincidentally happens to fall on September 21st.

Revelation chapter 15 tells us about the “great and marvelous” sign in the celestial heaven that represents the seven angels who pour out the wrath of God from 7 golden bowls. If Revelation 12 is the beginning of the 7 year tribulation period, then the arrival of Jupiter between the horns of Taurus (near the Pleiades) 2,520 days later (7 Biblical years of 360 days) as described in Revelation 15, could very possibly mark the end of the tribulation.

Precisely one month prior to the Feast of Trumpets in 2017 a major solar eclipse will pass over almost half of the planet but the path of its totality will only bring darkness to one nation. That nation is the United States. Solar eclipses have traditionally been harbingers of disasters for gentile nations.                 A passage in Isaiah seems to be particularly ominous when we consider this particular eclipse and its timing:

Listen carefully, the day of the Lord is coming,
Cruel, with wrath and raging anger,
To make the land a horror [of devastation];
And He shall exterminate its sinners from it.

For the stars of heaven and their constellations
Will not flash with their light;
The Sun will be dark when it rises,
And the moon will not shed its light. Isaiah 13: 9-10

Coincidentally, the sun will actually rise over the US while it is totally eclipsed. In other words, the sun will be totally dark when it rises at what would otherwise be the dawn on August 21, 2017.

In addition to the date of this eclipse being exactly one month prior to the Feast of Trumpets in 2017, it will also occur, coincidentally, on the anniversary of the second carving of the tablets of the Ten Commandments.

Modern astronomy programs allow us to determine how the sky looked on any date in history and from any point on the earth. These programs have allowed us to determine what the Christmas Star was when Christ was born. Actually, it first appeared 2 years prior to Jesus birth. We know this because the Bible tells us that Herod had all of the infants 2 years old and younger killed.                 These same planets and stars came together precisely 2 years prior to the Feast of Trumpets of 2017 and the Great Sign of Revelation 12. We should also note that this celestial combination also came together around the time that God made His promises to Abraham. Apparently, this celestial combination forms every 2,000 years (or so) and a couple of years before extremely significant Biblical events.

As I mentioned earlier, numbers are important to God, who often marks events that are special to Him with day counts utilizing numbers with significant meanings so that we will believe that His guiding hand is present. Let me give you an example.

We recently had a presidential election in which Hillary Clinton was heavily favored to win in virtually every poll conducted by our mainstream media.                 Instead, she lost in a landslide victory to Donald Trump. The world was stunned.                 Looking for an excuse, many blamed the Russians, accusing them of meddling and clandestine interference. All refused to accept the idea that God told us in the Bible that He is the one who raises up and deposes kings:

…and said: “Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.  Daniel 2:20-21 NIV

Was God’s hand present in this election?                 Can we find day counts to suggest the presence of His guiding hand?

  • On the day he was elected Donald Trump was 70 years plus 7+7+7 weeks old.
  • On inauguration day President Trump was 70 years, seven months, and seven days old.
  • Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton by 77 electoral votes.
  • Donald Trump was born precisely 700 days before Israel declared her independence on May 14th, 1948.
  • The nation of Israel was 77 days old precisely 777 days after the birth of Donald Trump.
  • Israel’s 70th birthday will come precisely 700 days after Donald Trump’s 70th birthday.
  • Donald Trump won the election on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s seventh year, seventh month, and seventh day in office.
  • The Great American Eclipse on August 21, 2017, will occur precisely 7 months after Donald Trump’s first day in office.
  • Jews often leave off the first digit of the year we are in on the Hebrew calendar.                     We are in the Hebrew year 5777 and so most Jews will say this is year 777. Donald Trump was elected in the Hebrew year commonly referred to as 777.

The number 7 seems to be quite special to God. In fact, there is much evidence to suggest that the number 7 is God’s favorite number. Likewise there are many other numbers that have special meanings in the Bible. For example, the number 6 is a number that is associated with not only labor and secular completeness, but also with evil. The number of the name of the coming anti-Christ, the most evil man to ever live, is 666.

Another evil man was Adolf Hitler. On the day that Donald Trump was inaugurated, Adolf Hitler would have been 6,666 weeks old. Coincidentally, during this same month President Obama was 666 months old.

And so it would seem that God’s fingerprints are all over this election rather than the Russians.                     Will the demon-rats (democrats) continue now to scream for a special prosecutor like they did when Trump was being accused of collusion with the Russians?

Returning to the scope of this article, are there day counts that point to the Rapture of the Church during the year 2017? The answer is a loud and resounding YES!!! There are dozens and dozens of them. In fact, there are far too many to list here (much less delve into). The following are just a very few of the more significant ones:

  • There are exactly 777 days from the eschatologically significant Jupiter-Mercury-Regulus conjunction on August 7, 2015, until the Feast of Trumpets of 2017.
  • There are exactly 700 days from the eschatologically significant Venus-Jupiter conjunction on October 25, 2015 until the Great Sign of Revelation 12.
  • 2017 is the 500 year of the Reformation.
  • 2017 is the 120 year anniversary of the First Zionist Congress. A period of 120 years is a divinely appointed period of probation. God pronounced the judgment of the coming flood 120 years before it occurred.
  • 2017 is the 100 year anniversary of the Balfour Declaration. It is also the 100 year anniversary of when the Ottoman Turks were driven from the Holy Land. The period of 100 years is symbolic of the children of promise.
  • 2017 is the 70 year anniversary of the UN General Assembly vote that created the nation of Israel. In 70 AD the Jews were dispersed because they rejected their Messiah. The period of 70 years is symbolic of Israel and her restoration.
  • 2017 is the 50 year anniversary of Israel re-capturing Jerusalem. Fifty years also happens to be the length of a jubilee.
  • 2017 is the year that the Great Sign of Revelation 12 will occur. It is also the year marked by the Great Pyramid complex in Egypt.
  • The number 2017 is significant in that the number 17 is the number of victory, the number of the over-comer, and it is the number of resurrection.
  • The number 2017 is also significant in that the Great Flood started on the 17th day of the month and the ark rested on Mount Ararat on the 17th day of the month.
  • The first eclipse of the 1949-1950 blood moon tetrad on April 13, 1949 was exactly 25,000 days before the Sign of the Woman on September 23, 2017.

The above examples are but a select few of the day counts that link various pieces of the End Time puzzle to each other and to the year 2017. More specifically, the arrows seem to point to a time frame between September 20th and September 23rd. Of course, the Rapture of the Church does not have to happen during this time frame. It could happen before this time frame just as it could happen afterward.

There are so many more signs that I have not mentioned. For example, I have not mentioned the prophecies of Judah ben Samuel, or the connection of the diameter and the temperature of the sun to 2017, or the Book of Daniel and the Fall of Babylon connection to the Day of Atonement in 2017 (10 days after the Feast of Trumpets), or the 2,550 day count that links Daniel to the Day of Atonement in 2017, or the three conjunctions that point to the Feast of Trumpets in 2017, or the three comets that are currently warning us of impending judgment, or the significance of what is happening with Jupiter on Pentecost this year and how it ties in with what is going to happen in the heavens this September, or the rest of the scriptures in which God talks to us about His heavenly signs, or all of the things in the Torah that seem to confirm what we already know about events that will take place in 2017, or the significance of the solar eclipse that occurred in the middle of the 2014-2015 tetrads and its relationship to 2017, or the significance of the Shoemaker-Levy Comet break up and its relationship to 2017. I barely discussed the significance of the Christmas Star and all of the factors about it that point to 2017. Likewise I have barely discussed the relationships between Jupiter, Venus, and the star Regulus and how they relate to End Time prophecy and 2017.

There is so much more I need to say about the Great Sign of Revelation 12 and there is so much more I want to say about the pyramids and Sphinx in Egypt and how they directly relate to September 2017. I never mentioned the Sabbath of Return (Shabbat Shuvah). I barely made mention here of the significance of the Feast of Trumpets, or of the Jubilee Comet 67p, or even of the significance of a Biblical jubilee in eschatology.

Many have predicted the date of the Rapture in the past and, so far, all have been wrong. On the other hand, there has never in all of history been anything even remotely comparable the preponderance of signs that we see now. There are so many signs in front of us that it is becoming impossible to see the road ahead. What more must there be before we finally realize that we are now arriving at the end of the Age of Grace and that the Rapture of the Church is upon us?

The world has felt an ominous feeling of foreboding that has been steadily growing in intensity since the early to mid 1960’s. Something really big is about to happen and it is going to be sudden and it is going to affect the entire world.

Scoffers love to point out that Jesus seemingly said that we cannot know the day or hour while adamantly refusing to admit that Jesus also said “Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.”                 Revelation 3:3 NKJV.

We will know for sure in a very few days. Are you and your loved ones ready?

This video on http://www.fivedoves.com posted by Andrea covers a video where the sign of the woman in Rev:12 is discussed and given an interesting interpretation by the author of the book The Final Harbinger Mr. Jamison Broone.

It is definitively a very possible good interpretation of the timing, manner and prophetic importance of the events discussed in the video.

New Article re Revelation 12 sign

From the Now the end Begins website. Well written and makes perfect, perfect sense. Showing references from Job etc., to show, for certain, that the “woman” in this sign is Israel. As I said – it all makes perfect, delicious sense until you get to the part where the author surmises that the church will have been raptured 3.5 years earlier from this, the time of Jacobs trouble!! Am I being a tad slow here? This wonder in Heaven – the Revelation 12 sign – is due to be in the skies this coming September 23rd, 2017. That does not leave enough time for the church to have been in heaven for 3.5 years………September is just under 4 months away. It simply does not add up. Plus, there is a shed load that happens prior to Revelation 12. Namely, Rev 1 through to 11. I know of no Biblical contortionist who can make this make sense! What am I missing here?

The Clue To The Identity Of The Woman In Revelation 12 Is Found All The Way Back In Genesis 37 • Now The End Begins

May 7, 2017 The soon coming one world kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ

with 11 comments

The whole world of today is involved in a constant struggle to impose a one world government as the elite try to steer the Nations to relinquish their nationalities and into submitting to a one world government under the rule of a dictator whose body is indwell by Satan.

The struggle can be seen in France today who is electing a president and one of the two running is a globalist versus the other a nationalist.

Whatever the outcome of that election the Bible states that eventually Satan will have his say in implanting this infamous one world government that will last seven years and that will be destroyed at the coming of Jesus Christ to set up His glorious Kingdom beautifully described below by FM Riley.

The Glorious Kingdom of Christ: Part Four

The Glorious
Kingdom of Christ
Part Four
Continued from Part Three

By Pastor F. M. Riley
April 15, 2017
“After this manner therefore pray ye:  Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come.  Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven,”
Matthew 6:9-10.

Introduction
Part Three of this series of studies was brought to a close with Christ Jesus entering the glorious millennial Temple as envisioned by Ezekiel in Ezekiel 43:1-7.  This study will resume where the previous study left off…….
God’s Kingdom on Earth
Christ Jesus entering the Millennial Temple, approximately seven years after the end of the Tribulation period,  will perhaps be the most glorious event in human history since the resurrection of the Lord. This event will usher in the Kingdom of Christ on earth, the most wonderful kingdom which will have ever existed on earth in all the history of mankind.  And it will be the Lord’s answer to the longing in the hearts of His own Jewish people throughout the centuries, and the longing and prayers of New Covenant believers in this present dispensation, for God’s Kingdom and will to be “done in earth, as it is in heaven,” Matthew 6:9-10.  Glory to God!  Praise the Lord!  Hallelujah!
For the first time in human history, there will be a government over mankind that will be totally righteous and incorruptible.  The government will be Christ Jesus Himself as King, ruling over all of mankind upon the earth,  then serving under Christ in every position of authority on earth, will be a true New Covenant believer, one who was once saved by grace, born-again” of the Holy Spirit, resurrected and glorified, and who will therefore be sinless and incorruptible, Daniel 4:3; 7:13-14; 7:18; 7:22; 7:27; Zechariah 14:5; 1 Corinthians 15:49; 15:51-58; Philippians 3:20-21; 1 Thessalonians 3:13; 2 Timothy 2:11-12; Revelation 4:4; 5:8-10; 19:13-15; 20:6; 22:3-5.   Glory to God!
Mankind on the earth will finally have a righteous and just government ruling over them, not for just a “term of office,” but for all eternity.  Praise the Lord!
Dear readers, this will guarantee that the corruption that has inevitably slipped into even the best of human governments in the past,  will never happen again in all of the eternal ages to come.  Glory to God!
The “time element” when Christ will enter the Millennial Temple and begin His reign, will be seven years after the end of the Tribulation period, likely at the beginning of the 8th year.  At that time the earth will have been totally cleansed of every wicked and incorrigible unbeliever [Psalm 37:9-10], of every dead body and bone, and of every man made item that might entice anyone still in their natural body into sin, causing them to turn away from serving the Lord, Matthew 13:41-42.
In essence, what happened to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, causing them to disobey the Lord and bringing the curse of sin upon mankind, will never happen again in all of the eternal ages to come.   From the time the Lord Jesus Christ enters the Millennial Temple to begin His reign, He will be ruling over all earthly kingdoms in absolute righteousness and peace.  Glory to God!
And how will this effect the entire earth and those living upon it?  Let’s go to God’s Word and see…….
GREAT EARTH CHANGES
Topography and Geography…..The land masses of the earth will no longer appear as they do today.  The inspired Word is quite clear that during the Tribulation period, the high towering, snow capped, mountain ranges that we see on the earth today will be shaken down, Psalm 46:2-3; Isaiah 2:12-14; 2:19-21; 41:15; 42:15; 54:10; Jeremiah 4:24; Ezekiel 38:20; Micah 1:4; Nahum 1:5; Habakkuk 3:6.  During this shaking, islands and mountains, and perhaps entire continents, will be moved, Revelation 6:14; 16:20,  This does not mean that there will no longer be any mountains, for there will always be mountains on the earth, but not the extremely high and jagged mountains that we see today.  The debris from the high mountains being shaken down, will literally fill up the deep gashes, canyons, and valleys that are on the earth today, Isaiah 40:4; Luke 3:5.  The surface of the earth will then be mostly gentle rolling hills, absolutely lovely to behold, and just right for the growth of abundant trees, grass, and other vegetation, and for farming and producing the food that redeemed mankind on the earth will need during “the ages to come,” Ephesians 2:7.  The prophetic Scriptures clearly state that the whole earth is going to experience vast changes in topography, geography, and climatic conditions, and become like “the garden of the Lord.” Glory to God!
It appears that the highest mountain left on the earth will then be “the mountain of the Lord’s house,” Mount Zion in Jerusalem, Psalm 2:6; 68:15-16; Isaiah 2:2-3; Micah 4:1-2;  Zechariah 14:10.
Fertility…..The Lord will be preparing the surface of the earth to grow abundant crops to feed those of mankind on the earth still living in their natural bodies.  Oh yes, there will be some redeemed survivors of the Tribulation period, still living on the earth.  Therefore the Lord God will remove the curse that was placed upon the earth after Adam’s sin [Genesis 3:17-18], causing the earth to bring forth abundantly
During the Tribulation period, every volcano on earth will be spewing forth volcanic ash clouds, making terrible living conditions for those left behind on the earth following the rapture.  But Romans 8:28 is still in the Bible, and the Lord does all things well.
Have our readers ever considered that volcanic ash is likely the very best natural fertilizer ever discovered by mankind?  For a year or more after Mt. St. Helens erupted in the state of Washington in 1980, the Washington apples were the largest, sweetest, and juiciest, they had been in years.  I know, for I was pastoring a church there at the time.
Dear readers, we look at the land of Israel today, and it is a dry, arid, desert country, with only a small portion of the land suitable for farming and raising crops.  Even the portion of the land which is farmed today, has to be irrigated in order for the land to produce.  But it was not always this way.
When the Israelites entered the promised land under the leadership of Joshua, it was a land “flowing with milk and honey,” Exodus 3:8; 3:17.  The entire land was covered with trees and abundant vegetation, and the rivers and streams all ran with abundant water.
Probably most of our readers have read the account in Numbers 13,  of Moses sending out men to spy out the land, before the children of Israel entered it.  The inspired Word clearly states that two men cut down “one cluster of grapes,” which was so large and heavy that they had to carry it on a staff between them, 13:23.  That is an example of how fertile the holy land was at that time. But look at it today!  What happened?
The Lord God plainly warned Israel, that if they did not love and serve and obey Him, He would withhold the rains.  Read it for yourself in Deuteronomy 11:16-17.  Israel went into apostasy, and ignored the Lord’s warning, nevertheless the Lord did what He said He would do, 2 Samuel 1:21; 1 Kings 8:35; 2 Chronicles 7:13-14.  It is a historical truth that for centuries, Israel received only enough rain to keep the cactus and other desert plants barely alive.  But it is also a truth, that since the re-establishment of Israel as a nation in 1948, the rainfall in Israel has been steadily increasing with the passing years.  Oh, glory to God!  Praise the Lord!
Water…..During the kingdom of Christ, the Lord God will “….cleave the earth with rivers,” Habakkuk 3:9.
“And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall,” Isaiah 30:25.  Every presently dry stream and river bed in Israel will once again flow with water; abundant water for producing the crops the people will need for their ever increasing population.  Read Isaiah 33:21, and 35:6.  Glory to God!
And what will be…..
The Earth’s Response to Such Blessings?
REST…..”The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing,” Isaiah 14:3-7.
When the Lord Jesus Christ sets up His Kingdom on earth, there will be no more wars, no fighting, no rioting, no rebellion and no wickedness allowed to be practiced, and the earth itself will no longer be used to grow noxious plants, from which wicked men produce alcohol and drugs, which cause men today to cheat and lie and fight and make war.  The earth itself will literally be at rest from the sins of mankind.  And this living earth will respond in rejoicing and singing, Isaiah 35:1-2.
PEACE…..”And He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many peoples: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more,” Isaiah 2:4; Micah 4:3.
“For ye [Israel] shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands,” Isaiah 55:12.
Fallen mankind’s solution to every major disagreement between nations and peoples has always been to go to war.  But that kind of reasoning will cease forever as Christ Jesus establishes His Kingdom upon the earth.  Immediate correction to any problem between nations and peoples will be the Lord’s solution, for the Scriptures are quite explicit that He will rule “with a rod of iron,” Revelation 2:27; 12:5; 19:15.  Christ Jesus will only have to speak the Word, and the problem will be solved immediately and peacefully.
VEGETATION…..”The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God,” Isaiah 35:1-2.
“Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off,” Isaiah 55:13.
Today there are vast areas of the earth’s surface which are nothing but desert, unfit for producing food for mankind, animals, or birds, and mostly worthless.  But when Christ establishes His Kingdom all of this will change.  Streams will break forth in the deserts, and the deserts will become fertile and productive, as they begin to produce vegetation and food for the benefit of mankind and all living creatures.
WATER…..”And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall,” Isaiah 30:25.
“Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall the waters break out. and streams in the desert,” Isaiah 35:6.
Fresh water is absolutely necessary to the survival and health of mankind, and all other living creatures.  As I write today, there is great concern among the governments of the world about the depletion and pollution of fresh water sources on the earth.
There is no need for concern about this problem, by those who are true believers in Christ.  Our Lord God knows exactly where the water sources are, and how, and when, to provide the needed water, and He will!  The Scripture reference in Isaiah 30:25 appears to be referring to the time when the battle of Armageddon occurs and all man-made structures on earth are destroyed, at or near the end of the Tribulation period.  If this is correct, then the Lord is going to begin restoring the earth back to prime condition, immediately upon the defeat and destruction of the armies of the anti-christ, and of the incorrigible wicked.  How great is our God and Savior!   Glory to God!
PHYSICAL HEALTH…..”And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity,” Isaiah 33:24.
Don’t fail to notice that sickness in this Scripture,  is clearly related to the “iniquity” of the people of Israel [33:20-22].  When the Lord God forgives their “iniquity,” then they will no longer experience sickness.
“And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more,” Ezekiel 34:29.
“And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat [food], whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat [food],  and the leaf thereof for medicine [healing; health], Ezekiel 47:12.
A careful study of the context in which this latter Scripture occurs will reveal that a stream of “living water” [47:9] will begin flowing from beneath the Millennial Temple; that it will become a great river, and that on each side or bank of the river, “the tree of life,” [Genesis 2:9] will once again be planted by the Lord, and caused to grow and produce fruit.  These trees will bear fruit every month, providing an abundance of extremely nutritious food for the people, and the leaves of the trees will be used for medicine [healing; health].
This will guarantee perfect physical health [and more] for every person who eats the fruit from those trees and drinks the water from that river, but it will also bring them…..
SPIRITUAL HEALTH…..”The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid,” Zephaniah 3:13.
“But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the Lord dwelleth in Zion,” Joel 3:20-21.
Dear readers, even many true believers have never given much thought to how we humans acquired a “sin nature.”  Every human being is presently born with such a “sin nature,” whether they are willing to believe it or not, Psalm 58:3; 14:2-3; 53:3;  Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 7:18.  But how did we get this “sin nature?”   The inspired Word clearly indicates that we living today inherited it from our parents, and they from their parents, etc., all the way back to Adam himself, Romans 5:12.
Folks, when Adam ate of the “tree of the knowledge of good and evil,” [Genesis 2:16-17], in disobedience to the Lord God,  he received physical and spiritual blood poisoning.  Yes, I said “blood poisoning!”   Sin is real, and it is in the blood stream of mankind, passed on in the birth process from father to child,  Romans 5:12.
Our readers should notice, that immediately after Adam had ate the fruit of the forbidden tree, the Lord God took measures to prevent him from having access to “the tree of life,” Genesis 3:22-24.  Notice also that the Lord God Himself clearly stated that eating the fruit from “the tree of life” would cause Adam to “live for ever,” 3:22.
So what does all of this have to do with our “sin nature”?  Everything!
When the Lord Jesus Christ sets up His Kingdom on the earth, the “tree of life” will be restored to the earth, and to access by the survivors of the Tribulation period.  These survivors will be redeemed people still in their natural bodies.
These “trees of life” will first be caused to grow again in the land of Israel, at the foot of the mount on which the Millennial Temple will be built, Ezekiel 47.  So it will be the redeemed of Israel who first have access to eat the fruit from these trees.  God’s principle at work, Romans 1:16.
However, the Scriptures state quite clearly that the Gentile peoples of the earth will be required to come to Israel every year to observe the Feast of Tabernacles, Zechariah 14:16-21.  Therefore, they too will have access to eat the fruit from these “trees of life,” and drink the “living water” from the river flowing from the Millennial Temple.
And what will be the result of eating the fruit from these trees?  The blood stream of both Jew and Gentile will be cleansed, as stated about Judah in Joel 3:20-21.  The “sin nature;” the tendency to sin, presently in the blood stream of mankind, will be cleansed from the blood and flesh of mankind “for ever.”  Therefore there will be no more sin and no more sickness among mankind on the earth.   Glory to God!  Praise the Lord!  Hallelujah!
Conclusion
Dear readers, there is more; much more, about the coming glorious Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ that I want to share with His people, and with lost seeking souls.  What a glorious future the Lord God is preparing for redeemed mankind in “the ages to come,” Ephesians 2:4-7.  And unless the reader is a true believer, saved by faith through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, they will miss it all!  Take heed!
The Lord permitting, I want to write and send out at least one more study in this series.  But I am not physically well!  Like the Apostle of old, I feel in my body that my time of departure is drawing near.  I certainly need the prayers of my brothers and sisters in Christ.  Thank each of you so much.  I do hope and pray that our Lord Jesus comes for us all, before anymore of us have to meet the angel of death.
May our gracious Lord add His blessings to this Bible study.

April 8, 2017 Genesis and Revelation bookends of the Bible

As we prepare to enter Holy week and the coming of Passover and Easter this article by FM Riley takes us back to the beginning in the book of Genesis.

In this week we should meditate in the mysteries that we are going to celebrate and in the greatest gift to mankind the death for the atonement of sins by Jesus Christ our Lord God.

It would be wise to understand that ;the 69th week of years of the prophecy in the 9th  chapter of Daniel ended in Passover with the Messiah cutoff or crucified and that the last week’s countdown could well start now.

Tomorrow FM Riley will probably post the second part in http://www.fivedoves.com

Happy Palm Sunday

The Days of Genesis 1&2

An Exposition of the
The Days of Genesis 1&2
Literally and Prophetically
Part One
By Pastor F. M. Riley
April 3, 2017
Abib [Nisan] 6, 5777
“Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever: for in six days, the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed,” Exodus 31:16-17.

“Known unto God are all His works from the beginning of the world,” Acts 15:18.

“Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like Me.
Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure,” Isaiah 46:9-10.

Introduction
The Book of Genesis is one of the two most important books in the entire Bible!  The other most important book is The Book of Revelation. Why are these two books so important?
Because Genesis sets before us the beginning of the creation and the origin of mankind.  In order to believe this record of the origin of the earth, the physical universe, and the origin of mankind upon the earth,  one must believe in the reality of Almighty God.  So right at the beginning of His Word, God set up a “test” for mankind.  Sadly, those who refuse to believe this inspired Word, setting forth the origin of the earth and the physical universe, and of mankind, will likely never come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, Hebrews 11:6.
Then the Book of Revelation sets before us the glorious future of redeemed mankind in “the ages to come” [Ephesians 2:6-7], and also the end of evil and the evil one, which has caused so many problems among mankind throughout the past 6,000 years of human history.
It is needless to say that Satan and his followers hate both of these books with passionate hatred.  These are the two books in God’s inspired Word which have come under the most severe attacks by  atheists and other assorted “God deniers”  throughout human history.
Again, why are these two books in the Bible so hated; yea, despised, by those who deny the existence of God, and the Divine Inspiration of His Word?  Because Genesis pulls the cover off of Satan and exposes him for the wicked being that he is, and Revelation glaringly reveals Satan’s ultimate defeat, condemnation, and well deserved end by the hands of God’s appointed Judge, the Lord Jesus Christ; the precious Savior and Lord of all true believers.
Notice that in our Scripture texts for this study, the inspired passage in Isaiah 46 explicitly states that God declared “the end from the beginning.”  I receive this statement as literal truth.  Therefore, it is my intention in these studies to examine each of the days in the week set forth in Genesis 1 & 2, written now 6,000 years ago, to see what can be learned about the end of this age.  My prayer is that this study will be enlightening and a blessing to every reader……..
ETERNITY PAST……
We begin with eternity past.  The expression in Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God,” does not state nor imply the beginning of God.  Almighty God was already in existence before He chose to create.
The question then asked of me numerous times over the 63 years I have been in the Lord’s ministry, is, “Where did God come from?”  My answer is that I haven’t the slightest idea, but I refuse to let the question stop me from believing in and serving the Lord.
The old Patriarch Job asked the same question many centuries ago, in saying, “Canst thou by searching find out God?  canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection,” Job 11:7-8.  Whether some “super smart” men [or women] choose to believe it or not, there are a few things in life that are unknowable, and the origin of God is one of them.  The Lord God Himself, in Deuteronomy 29:29, inspired Moses to write, “The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.”  Therefore, don’t allow this question about the origin of God to interfere with believing on, and loving and serving, the Lord God.  It is explicitly stated in Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.”  Glory to God!  I know this Scripture to be true by my own personal experience of God’s saving grace.  Now let’s move on…..
EXPOSITION OF DAY ONE
Our readers should notice that the Lord God placed only five inspired Scriptures in this first chapter of your Bible describing the first day of creation.  Why just five  Scripures?  Because God is filled with GRACE and love and compassion for mankind, whom He created, Psalm 111:4; John 3:16.  “5” is the number in the Bible which signifies “the grace of God.”
For this study, I am referring to the way these Scriptures read in my Hebrew Bible.
1:1…..”In [the] beginning God created the heaven[s] and the earth.”
In my Hebrew Bible, this statement simply reads, “In beginning God….”  Some translations of the Scriptures render this statement, “In a beginning God….”  Either one of these translations are setting forth the truth of God’s Word in our English Bible.  God existed in eternity past,  before He ever began to create…..
This amounts to the fact that at some point in eternity past, our Eternal God chose to begin the material creation.  Scriptural verification of this truth is set forth in Psalm 41:13, “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting [eternity], and to everlasting [eternity].  Amen and Amen.”  This literally means from the state of eternity which existed in the past before God began to create, to the state of eternity which will exist in the future “ages to come,” Ephesians 2:7.”
There is another point about these days of Genesis 1, which any true believer who desires to “rightly divide the Word of Truth” must know and understand.  Each of the days in Genesis 1 typify 1,000 years of human history.  This is not my opinion!  This is clearly stated twice in God’s Word.
“But beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day,” 2 Peter 3:8.
“For a thousand years in Thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night,” Psalm 90:4.
In serious study of God’s Word, I learned many years ago, that when a truth is stated twice in the Scriptures, it is established by God, and is therefore unalterable.
So here are two inspired Scriptures which plainly state that the Lord regards each period of 1,000 years of human history as only one day in His Great Week, and each day in His week of creation [Genesis 1] as typifying 1,000 years of human history.   Therefore there is a definite correlation between the days in the week of creation, and the chronology of human history.
Caution…..this does not mean that these days in Genesis 1 – 2 were anything more than 24 hour days, just like days are today.  It simply means that each 24 hour day typified a 1,000 year period in human history.  There is no Scriptural authority for making these days apply to just any period or length of time, other than that which is specifically stated in the inspired Word.  Now let’s proceed with our examination…..
In this very first verse in God’s Word, the Hebrew word translated as “heaven” is in the singular in the KJV, and in most other English translations of the Bible.  However, in the Hebrew text the word is in the plural; that is, “heavens.”  Even the Apostle Paul spoke of a plurality of heavens in 2 Corinthians 12:2.  The word as used in Genesis 1:1 is basically speaking of the entire expanse of space above and beyond the earth.
I also want to emphasize to our readers that the heavens and the earth, as originally created were “beautiful,” and ready for habitation by mankind.  In  Ecclesiastes 3:11, the inspired word clearly states, “He hath made every thing beautiful in His time…..”  Then in Isaiah 45:18, the inspired Word says, “For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God Himself that formed the earth and made it;  He hath established it, He created it not in vain,  [tohu…formless; waste; empty; useless; confused; vain], He formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.” See Gesenius Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon, Page 857, Strong’s No. 8414.  Dear readers, this inspired Scripture just explicity states that when God created the earth, it was not in the condition described in verse 2 of this chapter, but rather was beautiful and ready for habitation by mankind.  Are our readers going to believe what God’s Word says, or what some “theorist” claims?  Well…??
1:2…..And the earth [was] became [verb tense] without form and void: and darkness was upon the face of the deep.  And the Spirit of God moved [brooded] upon the face of the waters.
In this Scripture, the word “was” as supplied by the translators is not correct.  Anyone who seriously studies the Hebrew language [and the Hebrew Bible] should know that there is a verb tense in this Scripture.  A verb tense in language always denotes action.  “Was,” on the other hand, is speaking of a condition or fixed state, but the verb tense in this Scripture clearly indicates that due to some action on the part of someone [?], the earth as originally created came into a state of waste and desolation [tohu wa bohu], just as this Scripture describes it.
Therefore an enemy of God obviously brought the earth into such a state of waste and desolation, as stated in 1:2.  Now who could the enemy be, who would do such a thing to God’s beautiful creation?  The answer is obviously Satan, the same evil being who also deceived Mother Eve, and caused sin and death to come upon mankind, Romans 5:12.
Think about this!  Is it just “coincidence” that Adam and Eve were created in the image and likeness of God, and as such were spiritually pure and sinless.  But just as the original earth was brought into a state of waste, desolation, and darkness, so when Satan deceived Eve, and Adam chose to disobey the Lord, spiritual sin and death came upon mankind, and spiritual darkness filled their souls.  Is this correlation just “coincidence?”  Be careful how you answer, for God is listening, Matthew 12:36-37.
I suggest that our readers look at 1 Corinthians 15:47, which Scripture points out that Adam was typical of the earth.  So what happened to the earth as originally created, was similar to what happened to Adam.  Quite obviously, the correlation is not just “coincidence.”
But notice that this Scripture also states, “And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”  The Hebrew word translated as “moved” literally means “brooded,” as a hen broods over her eggs, Matthew 23:37.  In other words, the Lord God was not at all pleased that the earth, as He had originally created it, had been brought into such a state of waste and desolation.  So, just as a hen broods over her eggs to bring forth life, so the Spirit of God brooded over the waters covering the earth, to restore form and life and usefulness to the earth.  Glory to God!  Praise the Lord!  Hallelujah!
1:3…..”And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”
In order to hasten the restoration of the earth to the beauty and usefulness in which God had originally created it, God introduced “light” to dispel the darkness.  This “light” was obviously not the light of the Sun, for the Sun was not brought into this week of creation until the fourth day, 1:14-18.  This “light” which God introduced on the very first day of the creation week is typical of the light of Christ Jesus, whom the Scriptures explicitly state is “the light of the world,” John 1:1-9; 8:12; 9:5.  A true believer can stand in total darkness, and still have “the light of Christ” shining in their heart and soul.  Glory to God!
Across the centuries of human history, men have “discovered” that “light” is very necessary for the maintenace of life upon the earth.  Light is necessary for the purification of the water we drink, of the air we breathe, and for the germination and growth of the plants we eat, and for other vegetation.  Now look at your Bibles, and see that on the second and third days of the creation week, within 24 to 48 hours,  God would deal with the waters covering the earth, and would cause vegetation to grow upon the earth.  There are certain types of vegetation on the earth today, which if deprived of light, will completely die within just a day or two.  Our great and gracious God knew exactly what He was doing when He introduced “light” upon the earth to dispel the darkness, on the very first day of the creation week.  Glory to God!
1:4…..”And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.”
Folks, “light” is good!  It makes a way for us to see how to get around in a dark place.  And it is powerful!  Even a wee candle, when lighted, will overpower the darkness, making it possible to see to get about and do whatever we need to do in a previously dark room.   Do not our readers enjoy the sunlight on a lovely day, much more than day after dreary day when there is no light of the Sun shining?
There is also a spiritual significance to “light” as opposed to darkness.  Light in the Scriptures is typical of that which is good and righteous, as opposed to that which is bad and evil.
1:5…..”And God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night.  And the evening and the morning were the first day.”
God Himself labeled these as two distinct periods of time.  The 12 hours of darkness are called “Night.”  The 12 hours of light are called “Day.”  Each period of time has spiritual significance.
In Psalm 30:5, we read, “…..weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”  It is obvious that this is speaking of periods of time in human history, when there is great sorrow, only to be followed by rejoicing when the “morning” of the “day of Christ” finally dawns upon mankind.  Glory to God!
The Apostle Paul explicitly stated that we New Covenant believers are living in the “night” time of human history, and are headed towards “the day of God,” Romans 13:11-12.  He used this knowledge to admonish true believers to “awake” out of spiritual sleep, “knowing the time…….for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.”  Praise the Lord!  Glory to God!
Then the remainder of 1:5 says,  “And the evening and the morning were the first day.”  In the Hebrew text this statement is literally, “And the evening and the morning became day one.”
Each period of time observed as a “day,” by the early inhabitants of the earth, began at sundown, and proceeded forward 24 hours until sundown the following day.  The modern practice of beginning each new day at midnight, is a practice which was not followed by the early peoples on the earth.
What this tells us is that the first day of the creation week began on what we now call Sunday evening at sundown, and ended 24 hours later on Monday evening at sundown.  It was then Monday evening at sundown when the second day of the creation week began.
THE CORRELATION
Now let’s look at the correlation between this first day of the week, and the first 1,000 years which this first week typifies, 2 Peter 3:8.
This first 1,000 of human history began with the creation of Adam and Eve on the sixth day of the creation week, 1:26-30; 2:7-8.  The Lord God explicitly told Adam not to eat of “the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,” 2:16-17.  The penalty for disobeying the Lord was that Adam would die, 2:17.  But Adam didn’t obey, and brought sin and death upon all of mankind, Romans 5:12.
Notice the exact wording of 2:17, “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”  Some unbelieving critics of the Bible have declared that here is a mistake in God’s Word, for Adam did not die on the day he ate of the forbidden fruit.  Pshaw!  Read 2 Peter 3:8 again, and let the truth stated soak in.  Adam did die in the first 1,000 year day of God’s Great Week.  Adam died when he was 930 years of age, Genesis 5:5.  This was 70 years short of fulfilling the full day of 1,000 years.  Glory to God!  His Word stands correct and inviolate!
Imagine if you can, the entire earth populated by just one family, Adam and Eve and their children.  Now look at the teeming millions of people today all over the earth, all of whom are descendants of that original first family.  How great is our God!
The chronology of mankind from Adam to Noah is set forth in Genesis 5.  The careful Bible student can calculate the years involved from this chronology.  It is obvious that the first “day” in God’s Great Week, the first period of 1,000 years, there were very few people on the whole earth.  There were just a few families multiplying and replenishing the earth, as the Lord had instructed, Genesis 1:28.  It was 1,056 years from the creation of Adam to the birth of Lamech, the father of Noah.
This chronology primarily traces the descendants of Adam who believed in the Lord God and passed the knowledge of God on to their children.  In other words, it basically sets forth the “blood line” of those believers through whom the Lord Jesus Christ would come into the world many centuries later in mankind’s history.
In seriously studying this chronology, it explicitly mentions the first three sons of Adam.
Adam’s firstborn son was Cain, 4:1.  This son of Adam is mentioned 20 times in the Bible, but never in a good sense.  Cain was a type of those who depend on themselves and their own works [the flesh] to justify themselves before God.  I suggest our readers look up the Scripture references to Cain in God’s Word, and carefully study them all.
Adam’s secondborn son was Abel, 4:2.  Abel apparently believed what his father, Adam, told him about God, and sought to love and fear and serve the Lord.  As a result, he was hated by Cain, and became the first martyr for the Lord, brutally murdered by his own brother, 4:8.
Because of Cain’s wicked and unrepentant heart, the Lord God placed a mark and a curse upon him, and Cain became “a fugitive and a vagabond,” 4:11-12.  One might describe him as the first “hippy.”
Since the ground was cursed, and would no longer yield it’s strength to Cain, he then made the choice to become a city dweller, and established the first city on the earth, 4:11-17.  Since that day to the present time, those of mankind who do not want to earn their bread by the sweat of their face [3:17-19], have favored living together with others in cities.  Working at a job in some city, is usually physically easier than laboring on a farm to exact a living from the soil.
Some readers may resent what I have just stated about cities.  But before a reader gets boiling mad at me, perhaps they need to read and explain why all the cities on the earth will be destroyed, with the exception of Jerusalem, during the coming Tribulation period?  And why the Lord God is going to make certain that “the face of the earth” is never filled with cities again, Zephaniah 3:6, Revelation 16:19, Isaiah 14:17, and 14:21?   Well…..??
Then Adam was blessed with yet a third son, whose name was Seth, 5:3.  Seth’s name means “appointed” or “substituted.”  Seth was appointed as the godly seed, in the place of Abel, whom Cain had murdered.
Some of our readers have likely studied about Seth.  According to the traditions of the Israelite people, Seth was a devoted “man of God,” totally sold out to the Lord God.  According to Israelite traditions, Seth was also the man who constructed, or was in charge of constructing, the Great Pyramid in the land of Egypt.  I feel certain that some of our readers have studied about the Great Pyramid in Egypt.  I have neither time nor space to go into detail about it in this study.
I will simply mention that the Great Pyramid is a mathematical and prophetical marvel set in stone.  The design and construction of the Great Pyramid contains information about the earth and the heavens, and even the future of mankind, which was not yet known in the days of Adam and Seth, and which was not even “discovered” until recent times.
The only rational explanation for this, is that Almighty God inspired Seth as he constructed the Great Pyramid, for it can almost be said that the Great Pyramid is “the Bible set in stone.”  Any reader who has never studied the subject, would be blessed by reading some of the many books which have been written about the Great Pyramid.
Therefore Seth was one of the two outstanding “men of God” listed in this chronology in Genesis 5.
The second outstanding “man of God” listed in this chronology in Genesis 5, which deserves the attention of God’s people, is Enoch, 5:18.  Enoch was the son of Jared. and the 7th man in the lineage of descent from Adam, born 622 years after the creation of Adam.  Enoch is the man who wrote The Book of Enoch, which is still in print and available to God’s people to read today.  Every true believer would be blessed by obtaining a copy of this book and reading it for yourself.
Enoch was also the man who lived only 365 years, and walked so close to the Lord, that the Lord “took him,” 5:24.  In other words, Enoch did not die, but rather was “raptured” off the earth into the Lord’s presence in glory.  As such, he stands as Scriptural proof of the reality of the rapture for God’s people.  Glory!  Glory!  Glory!
Since Enoch was born 622 years after the creation of Adam, and “God took him” 365 years later, then his rapture occurred 987 years into the first “day” of God’s Great Week.   Glory to God!
Conclusion
Dear readers, we who are living on the earth today are so close to the coming of Christ “in the air” to rapture His New Covenant saints to glory, that every reader of this study should be living for the Lord every day.  At any minute of any day now, our Lord could come for us.  Are you
a true believer?  Do you have the assurance of forgiven sin and salvation in Christ Jesus?  If not, why not?  The way of salvation is repeatedly set forth in God’s Word, and all the Lord is asking of you is to believe, Acts 16:30-31.

The Parables of the Kingdom…Part One

The Parables of the
Kingdom…Part One
By Pastor F. M. Riley
March 14, 2017
“Then said He unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.”
Matthew 13:52
Introduction
Dear readers, I wrote and sent out this Bible study originally on September 19, 2012, five years ago, under the title of “The Kingdom.”  I am now writing a series of Bible studies on this same subject, and in researching for the series, I felt that this particular study should be sent out again.  The information contained in this study could not be more timely than it is today.  I pray it will be a blessing to every reader.
Defining the Subject
What is “the kingdom?”  When one studies this subject, they should study all of the Scriptures in God’s Word where the word, “kingdom,” is used, including the context in which the word occurs.
As a young minister many years ago, I became so confused by the different dogmatic definitions assigned to “the kingdom,” by different preachers and writers, I determined to set aside all of their theories, and study the subject out in God’s Word for myself.  I then proceeded to look up every single passage in God’s Word where the word, “kingdom,” occurs, and carefully study it in context for myself.  In making that study, all of my confusion vanished, and I was made to praise and thank the Lord for His goodness in enlightening me.
In this study on the subject, there is no way I can refer to every single passage in the Scriptures where the word, “kingdom,” occurs.  However, since I have a notebook listing every Scripture in the Bible where the word is used, I simply eliminated all references to a “kingdom,” except those references which apply to the Kingdom of God, or the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Then I separated all of the references into their respective categories, depending on their use in the context in which they occur.   In doing this, I learned that the word, “kingdom,” is used in five different ways in the Word of God…….
[1]  Universal…….Almighty God is the Supreme Ruler over a “universal” kingdom, which has existed from eternity past, which still exists today, and which will never cease to exist.  In His “universal” kingdom, everything in the entire universe is subject to His will, and therefore nothing in the whole creation moves or changes without God’s directive or permissive will.  See 1 Chronicles 29:11, 2 Chronicles 20:6, Psalm 103:19, and Daniel 4:34-35.
[2]   Heavenly…….Almighty God has a “heavenly” kingdom, which is located in the heavens far above the earth, in which everything and every living being in His “heavenly” kingdom is in joyful and willing obedience to Him, and to His will for them.   Remember that the Lord Himself told His disciples to pray in the model prayer, “…Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven,” Matthew 6:10.  See also 2 Timothy 4:18, Hebrews 8:1, and Revelation 3:21.
[3]   Spiritual…….Almighty God has a “spiritual” kingdom, which is composed of only those who have received the Lord Jesus Christ as their own personal Savior.  To enter this kingdom, one must be “born again,” John 3:3-7; Colossians 1:12-14; Luke 17:21.
[4]   Mystical…….Almighty God has a “mystical” kingdom in existence right now upon the earth during this present dispensation. This means a “mystery” form of His kingdom.  This “mystical” kingdom, is in some respects, the same kingdom the Lord was promised in Daniel 2:44.
However, since the Jewish people repeatedly rejected Christ as their Messiah and Savior, and ultimately crucified Him, His literal kingdom was postponed for another two days, Hosea 5:15; 6:1-2; 2 Peter 3:8.   As the inspired Word says, “He came unto His own, and His own received Him not,” John 1:11.   The Jewish people, at the Lord’s first coming, were not in a spiritual attitude of heart to receive Christ as their Messiah and Savior,  so the Lord established His “mystical” kingdom among them [in their midst],  Matthew 18:20; Luke 17:20-21.
This “mystical” form of the kingdom is what is referred to in Matthew 13, and other Scriptures in Matthew, as “the kingdom of heaven” [literally “the kingdom from the heavens”].  This form of the kingdom is presently composed of all the peoples and nations on the earth, both saved and unsaved, but during this present dispensation the wicked have sought to purge it of God and His Word, bringing great suffering upon the nations of the earth, and upon true believers who refuse to bow to their wicked decrees, Psalm 2:1-3; Matthew 11:12.
Therefore the establishment of the literal Millennial Kingdom of the Lord awaits the coming again of the “anointed King,” who will come again with authority from Father God to seize the kingdoms of this world, and  establish His own righteous Kingdom upon the earth.  Carefully study again the Parable of the Pounds set forth in Luke 19:11-27. Notice also Daniel 7:13-14, and Revelation 11:15-18.  Until the Lord comes again, His promised Kingdom will continue to exist in it’s present “mystical” form.  See Matthew 11:11-13, 13:1-52, 21:31-32, Luke 16:16, 17:20-21, and 19:11-27.
[5]   Millennial…….Almighty God has purposed to establish His own Kingdom upon the earth, in the form of the literal Millennial Kingdom of Christ promised to His Son in Daniel 2:44, and in many other prophetic Scriptures.  When the Lord Jesus Christ bodily and visibly returns at the end of the Tribulation period, in glory and triumph, the “kingdoms of this world” will literally become His Kingdom, Revelation 11:15.  The present “mystical” form of the kingdom, will then give way to the actual, literal, Kingdom of our Lord.  From the actual city of Jerusalem, the Lord Jesus will rule and reign over the entire earth for a thousand years.  During that time all humanity will finally experience real righteousness and peace, and will live together in harmony, peace, and prosperity.  See Daniel 2:44, Isaiah 2:1-4, 9:6-7, 11:1-9, Amos 9:11-15, Micah 4:1-5, 1 Corinthians 15:24-28, and Revelation 20:1-6.
There are many more Scriptures that relate to each of these five categories of God’s Kingdom, but the Scriptures given, if carefully studied and believed, should give any reader  insight into this subject.
Important To Right Division
In these five categories of the kingdom, not even once did I list the Church.  In spite of what some today claim, the Lord’s Church is not the kingdom, has never been the kingdom, and will never be the kingdom.  Some today, who claim that the church is the kingdom, need to do a lot more serious study of God’s Word.  Because the Lord’s Church has been  in the kingdom throughout this present dispensation, these seven parables of the kingdom in some ways parallel the seven church letters in Revelation 2 – 3. Similar, but not the same!  The Apostle Paul even rebuked some in the Corinthian church for believing and teaching that they were already “reigning,” 1 Corinthians 4:1-8.   Pay attention!
But now let’s turn our attention to the present “mystical” form of God’s Kingdom on the earth…….
The Kingdom of Heaven
As previously stated, this expression, “the kingdom of heaven,” literally means, “the kingdom from heaven,” or, “the kingdom bestowed upon mankind from heaven.”  In other words, it refers to the kingdom promised by the Heavenly Father in Daniel 2:44, to His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and therefore is also the kingdom promised to Israel and  the redeemed Jewish people.
This exact expression is used 30 times in the New Testament, and occurs only in the Gospel of Matthew.  In every instance, it refers to the kingdom preached to the Jewish people, as being “at hand,” by John the Baptist, and then by Christ Himself, Matthew 3:1-2; 4:17.  See also Luke 16:16.
The most enlightening studies on “the kingdom of heaven,” are found in the Parables of the Kingdom in Matthew 13.  Since these parables were given by the Lord God, in the other three gospels of Mark, Luke, and John, the expression used by them is usually, “the kingdom of God.”  A careful study of these parables in Matthew 13, should leave no doubt in the minds of any true believer, that these parables deal with the “spiritual” aspects of the Kingdom of our Lord during this present dispensation.  These parables make it clear that the “mystical” form of the Kingdom of our Lord is a reality, and is functioning in this present evil world, during this present “Dispensation of Grace” in which God’s people live today.
Now let’s turn our attention to a verse by verse, and sometimes word by word, exposition of these “kingdom of heaven” parables…….
The Parable of the Sower
“And He spake many things unto them in parables, saying,  Behold a sower went forth to sow;
And when He sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:
Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
Who hath ears to hear, let him hear,”  Matthew 13:3-9.
This is the first parable in the series of parables on “The Kingdom of Heaven” given by the Lord Jesus in Matthew 13.
In this parable, Christ Himself is “the sower” of the seed.  This is clearly stated by the Lord in 13:37.
The “seed” being sown is the Word of God, 13:19; 13:23; John 5:24; Romans 10:17.
The four types of ground where the seed was sown in the parable set forth four kinds of hearts within lost unbelievers, 13:19.  This truth has never changed since Christ gave this parable.  Lost men and women, boys and girls, still fall into one of these four categories today.  Significantly, “4” is the Bible number signifying “the flesh; the natural man; humanity; etc.”  It is the natural man, lost in sin through the Adamic sin nature, who needs the Word of God sown in their “heart,” in order to be saved, Romans 10:8-10; 10:17.
Please notice that the Lord Himself  “interpreted” this Parable of the Sower, Matthew 13:18-23.  The Lord obviously did not want this parable misunderstood by His people, therefore He explained it to His disciples Himself.  And what is the true meaning of the parable?
[1]    The seed which fell by “the way side” typifies the lost person who hears the gospel, but does not understand it, and simply shrugs it off, dismissing it without ever giving any further thought to what they have heard,  or to the way of salvation.
Satan recognizes these shallow minded kinds of people, and sends his demon spirits to snatch the Word right out of their minds and  hearts, causing them to forget about and ignore what they heard.  It is highly unlikely that such people will ever be saved, 13:4; 13:19.
[2]   The seed which fell on “stony places” typifies those whose hearts are so hard, that while they would like to believe the gospel, they never get beyond a “religious profession.”  Folks, a “profession” is not salvation!  Because these people are not truly saved, therefore they never grow in the Lord and have no spiritual “roots” in Christ and His Word.  Compare Ephesians 3:14-19.  When they are later tested by trouble or persecution, they turn completely away from their “religious profession.”  See 13:5-6, 13:20-21, and Hebrews 10:23-27.
[3]   The seed which “fell among thorns” typifies those who hear the gospel and make a “profession” of faith in Christ, yet who are so involved in the things of this present life that they never surrender their whole heart, soul, and life to the Lord and His Word.  Their pursuit of “riches,” or what the unbelieving world calls “success,” and their lusts for the things of this present world, literally “choke” out any real interest in the Word of God and the things of God.  Their obsession with the things of this world, are “thorns” growing in their hearts.  The seed of the Word of God is choked out by these “thorns” already growing there when they made their “profession.”  See 13:7, 13:22, Mark 4:7, 4:18-19, Luke 8:7, 8:14, and Hebrews 6:1-8 and 12:12-17.
[4]   The seed which falls “into good ground” typifies those who hear the gospel and genuinely receive Christ into their heart and life.  Compare Matthew 5:6.  When they hear the gospel, they understand it, because their heart and mind is open to receive the truth of God’s Word. They immediately begin to live for the Lord, and as they live for Him, He blesses their efforts to grow in Him and bring forth fruit, John 15:5.
Each true believer does not bear the same amount of fruit, for the Lord never forgets that each of us are individuals, and deals with us accordingly.  It is Satan who deals with “the herd” and “the mob,” but our Lord graciously deals with us as individuals.  The Lord loves and regards each true believer as His own redeemed child.  This is why He never places more on us, than He knows we are able to bear [1 Corinthians 10:13], for He “knoweth our frame,” Psalm 103:13-14.  What a great and gracious and loving Heavenly Father, and what a precious Savior and Lord, we believers serve.  Hallelujah!  Praise the Lord!  Glory to God!
The “good ground” is then a “heart” that is soft and willing to receive and believe God’s Word, when it is presented to that particular individual.  This fourth example the Lord gave, the seed sown in “good ground,” is the only one of the four examples given, which typifies a genuine “born again” true believer, 13:23.  While “the seed” never changes, yet the effect it has on individual believers does vary.  Some true believers totally devote themselves to the Lord, bringing forth “fruit” unto God [John 15:1-16] “a hundredfold.”  Yet some believers only bring forth “sixtyfold,” and still others only “thirtyfold.”  But regardless of how much “fruit” we bear for the Lord, our Lord still loves all His children who have truly received Him into their “heart,” John 15:9-12; Romans 10:8-10.
The Parable of the Wheat and Tares
“Another parable put He forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field?  from whence then hath it tares?
He said unto them, An enemy hath done this.  The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn,” Matthew 13:24-30.
Just before ascending back to the Father, the commission to sow the seed of the gospel was placed in the hands of the Lord’s disciples, and they were to sow the seed throughout the Lord’s kingdom.  His kingdom in these parables is the whole world of mankind on the earth, 13:38; 28:18-20; Acts 1:8.  This parable verifies this truth.
At first the disciples were very zealous and “on guard” for the Lord, as recorded in The Book of Acts.  But as time passed, even some of the Lord’s people began to go to “sleep” spiritually, exactly as stated in this parable, and also as stated in the letter to the church at Ephesus, 13:25; Revelation 2:1-7.  A careful study of the Word in Acts and other epistles will reveal that there were at least three “splits” in the ranks of Christianity before the end of the Apostolic period, 1 John 2:18-19.  Satan was sowing his “tares” among the wheat.
When the spiritual ardor of God’s people begin to wane, then the Lord’s churches began to be infiltrated by Satan’s henchmen, posing as “Christians.”  Compare 2 Peter 2:1-22, Jude 3-4, Revelation 2:2-4 and 2:9.  This is still going on right to this present day.
The Lord’s true, dedicated, servants recognized what was happening, just as stated in this parable, and wanted to do something about it.  But the Lord, knowing the “sin nature” of fallen mankind, and the weakness of “the flesh,” knew that if authority to “root up” was placed in the hands of His disciples, they would inevitably make mistakes in judgment, and would “root up” some of God’s own children.   Think about it!
Keep in mind that this is speaking of “the kingdom,” not “the church.”  True believers have a Scriptural right, and even an obligation, to withdraw fellowship from any church member, who is living a sinful life in rebellion and defiance of God’s Word, 1 Corinthians 5:1-12.  We can and should “Purge out therefore the old leaven,” in the churches, 1 Corinthians 5:7.  But we cannot, and should not even attempt to “root up” the “tares” in the kingdom.
Isn’t it true, that from time to time today, we find true believers in all kinds of cults and false religious systems?  Likewise today, don’t we also find “false teachers” and lost unbelievers in the churches and the ranks of Christianity?  The Lord very accurately foresaw the situation that would develop over the 2,000 years of this present dispensation.
So the Lord’s decision was to just let the wheat [true believers] and the tares [lost unbelievers] grow together in the kingdom [this present evil world], until “the time of harvest,” and then the reapers will separate them, 13:39-41. You can count on it!
The Parable of the Mustard Seed
“Another parable put He forth unto them, saying,  The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
Which indeed is the least of all seed:  but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof,” Matthew 13:31-32.
This is the third in the “kingdom of heaven” parables.  In this parable the Lord is not the sower, and “the seed” sown is not the Word of God.  Notice the change in the language used in this parable.
In this parable “a man” takes “a grain of mustard seed” and sows it “in his field.”  As the Lord points out, mustard seed is a very tiny seed, comparable to a dot made when one places the point of a pencil down on a piece of paper.  Yet, in this parable, that one tiny seed produces a mustard plant that grows into a monstrosity, becoming “a tree,” rather than the normal size plant usually produced.  It becomes so large that “the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches” of this mustard “tree.”  Several things should be noticed here…….
The mustard plant emits a “pungent” odor.  In other words, IT STINKS, causing irritation to the nose, eyes, and skin.  This is exactly opposite to the Old Testament sacrifices, which caused “a sweet smell” when offered to God by His faithful people.  It is this “stinking” species of plant that the wicked have used to produce mustard gas to kill their enemies in modern warfare.
The expression, “the birds of the air,” refers to Satanic powers; demons and fallen angels.  The word “air” in this Scripture is translated from the Greek word, “ouranos,” which is also translated as “heaven” and “high” numerous times in the New Testament.  See Ephesians 6:12 as an example.  Also compare Matthew 13:4, 13:19, and 13:32.  It is the demons and fallen angels which find a lodging place in the branches of this stinking mustard “tree.”
The “man” to whom Christ was referring was the Roman Emperor, Constantine.  At the beginning of the third century, Constantine supposedly accepted “Christianity” as his own personal “religion.”  He then made it the “state religion” by planting it in  “his field”  [the Roman Empire] in 313 A.D., and forcing it upon the citizens of Rome by his decree.  It was at that time that many of the ancient statues of the old pagan gods of Rome were given “Christian” names, and the people of Rome kept right on worshipping them in the same old pagan way.
What Constantine had really accepted and forced upon the Roman citizens, was the ancient Babylonian religious system of Nimrod and Semaramis, dressed up in “Christian” garments.  Constantine’s wickedness laid the foundation for what would ultimately develop into the so-called “Holy Roman Catholic [universal] Church,” the Papal system; a religious heirarchy.  Through this Roman “whore” religious system, planted by Constantine in “his field,” the “mustard seed” has grown into “a tree;” a religious monstrosity, spreading her branches throughout the whole world.  And sure enough, this false “religious system” is filled with demon activity and every kind of wickedness imaginable; witchcraft, demonism, sorcery, blasphemy, homosexuality, etc.,  Revelation 18:1-5. Carefully study and compare, Ezekiel 31:3-6, Daniel 4:10-12, and Revelation 17:1-2.  Also compare the letter to the church at Pergamos, Revelation 2:12-17.  Again, the Church is not the kingdom, but during this present dispensation, the churches are in the kingdom, so what happens in the kingdom often has an effect upon the  churches.

Jan 15, 2017 Today the world aligns itself against Israel as prophesied in the Bible

The nations roar as lions after prey. The Lord of Hosts prepares for battle against them with all the angels of heaven.

How foolish of ignorant men to try to go against the elect of God and the land He gave eternally to them.

Today they will meet in pleasant surroundings in the beautiful city of Paris and their agenda will be against Israel. They are gathering to seal not the fate of Israel but their fate and complete destruction. If they only new the folly of their actions and the total destruction that will fall upon them they would have not done it. But with the lack of knowledge of rejecting the Word of God and God they become “His ” enemies and how dreadful it will be for them.

This year 5777 will end with the 70 years birthday of the nation of Israel and 70 is a period of testing. It is also the possible end of a generation as prophetically stated by Jesus.

New International Version

The Destruction of the Temple and Signs of the End Times

1Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2“Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”

3As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

4Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8All these are the beginning of birth pains.

9“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

15“So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’a spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— 16then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. 18Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. 19How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 20Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. 21For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.

22“If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. 23At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25See, I have told you ahead of time.

26“So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.

29“Immediately after the distress of those days

“ ‘the sun will be darkened,

and the moon will not give its light;

the stars will fall from the sky,

and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’b

30“Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earthc will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.d 31And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

32“Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33Even so, when you see all these things, you know that ite is near, right at the door. 34Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

The Day and Hour Unknown

36“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,f but only the Father. 37As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

42“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

45“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. 47Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 48But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’ 49and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. 50The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. 51He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Biblical Return of 70 Nations as Countries Gather in Paris to Condemn Israel

“They have said: ‘Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Yisrael may be no more in remembrance.’ For they have consulted together with one consent; against Thee do they make a covenant.” Psalms 83:5-6 (The Israel Bible™)

High ranking officials from 70 nations of the world will gather in Paris on January 15th in an attempt to force Israel to accept a two-state solution with the Palestinian Authority. By so doing, they will be fulfilling a momentous Biblical prophecy foretold thousands of years ago.

When Israeli statesman Shimon Peres passed away in September, leaders and dignitaries from 70 nations gathered in Jerusalem to pay their last respects. The symbolism is no mere coincidence; the very same number of representatives will gather in Paris, but this time to deny the Jewish connection to the Land of Israel.

“Everyone knows already what the purpose of the conference is: it will be used as another opportunity to try to impose a settlement on Israel and avoid direct negotiations between Israel and it’s neighbors,” Rabbi Avraham Arieh Trugman, director of Ohr Chadash Torah Institute, told Breaking Israel News. “What’s interesting is that it isn’t just one or two enemies with a specific grudge, like the Arabs or the Nazis. It is 70 nations, which in Torah terms, means all of the nations,” explained Rabbi Trugman.

Rabbi Shimon Apisdorf, a prominent Jewish educator and bestselling author, told Breaking Israel News that seeing 70 nations written in the headlines caught his attention.

“There is no question that the aspect of specifically 70 nations gathering is significant, the point being Israel is not one of them,” said Rabbi Apisdorf, citing the book of Numbers.

Lo, it is a people that shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations. Numbers 23:9

“We are fundamentally different,” stated Rabbi Apisdorf. “And as a light unto the nations, we are supposed to be separate and different.”

Rabbi Trugman understood a different message in the gathering of the 70 countries.

“There is no doubt this is a fulfillment of the prophecies that in the end of days, all the nations will come out against Israel,” noted the rabbi. He quoted the commentary of Rabbi Shlomo Yitzchaki, an 11th century French commentator known by the acronym ‘Rashi’, on the first verse in the book of Genesis.

“1,000 years ago, Rashi said that in the future, the nations of the world will come and say we stole the Land of Israel. This is precisely what we are seeing now,” Rabbi Trugman said. “The majority of the nations say we have no claim to Israel, and the rest say we only have a claim to a small section of Israel.”

“Rashi told us how to answer this claim,” said Rabbi Trugman. “We need to remind them that the same God who created the heaven and earth gave it to them, and then he took it from them and gave it to us.”

The concept of 70 nations has its source in the 70 grandsons of Noah listed in the Bible.

These three were the sons of Noach, and of these was the whole earth overspread. Genesis 9:19

According to Bereshit Rabbah, a collection of homiletical teachings compiled around 400 CE, each nation is appointed an angel, except for Israel, which is protected by God Himself. According to Midrash Tanchuma, homiletical teachings believed to have been compiled around 500 CE, Jacob’s vision was of these national angels ascending and descending a ladder, determining the fortune of their nations.

And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven; and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. Genesis 28:12

Jacob’s vision is interpreted as a message that the nation of Israel was no longer part of this natural process. Though other nations will rise and fall, eventually disappearing into the sands of time, Israel will never disappear.

The concept of 70 nations also appears in reference to the 70 oxen offered in the Temple throughout Sukkot (the feast of the tabernacles) which the Talmud (Sukkah 55b) teaches are for the merit of the 70 nations.

In the wake of the recent United Nations Security Council resolution 2334 declaring Jewish housing in Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem to be illegal, the outcome of the Paris conference seems certain. A two-state solution would call for Israel to relinquish territories conquered in the 1967 Six-Day War, and subsequently create a Palestinian State. This would include establishing a Palestinian capital in East Jerusalem, thereby removing the Kotel (Western Wall) and the Temple Mount from Jewish control. It is unclear whether the 800,000 Jews living over the 1949 Armistice Lines, comprising approximately 13 percent of Israel’s Jewish population, will be required to relocate, as they were when the Israeli government dismantled the communities of Gush Katif in the Gaza Strip in 2005.

Even if the 70 nations at the conference decide in favor of the two-state solution it is unclear how this plan will be practically implemented. On January 20, five days after the conference is set to take place, Donald Trump will take the seat in Oval Office, and he has already made his opinion clear that, like Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he believes the only solution to be face-to-face negotiations without pre-conditions between the Israelis and Palestinians.
