Here is a good breakdown by Sackcloth & Ashes regarding some connections with the shooting massacre which occurred in AURORA, CO at the DARK KNIGHT RISES PREMIER.

Also take a look at the BATMAN comic from 1986 which depicted a shooting massacre in a movie theatre. Hmmm
