This article is a direct contradiction to the articles by Lora Shipley of the Barley and the Wheat.

I have not read it all and due to the time it is I will post it and review it tomorrow if we are still here.

As I said , this morning I read the post below and I find it very good. Us believers have an opportunity to scrutinize the scriptures to find the true meaning of what was intended by Jesus.

Here we are presented with two types of believers, the Holy Spirit filled and the carnal. Can they represent the foolish and the wise virgins? There are complications involved with this interpretation, as it has been discussed before.

I always thought that because the church was created in Pentecost that it was logical that the church be Raptured in Pentecost. Again I must say that at the Resurrection all believers, carnal or not will be Resurrected and I think the Rapture will include all believers, not only the Spirit filled. From that point on a lot of people in the world will become believers and remember that during the apocalypse the Gospel will be preached to all the world and even angels (Rev 14: 6-7) will preach the eternal Gospel. The result of this preaching will be the conversion of millions who will believe and be saved.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I am writing out of concern for the fact that many have written in to
your web site forums claiming the followers of Christ are “barley” who
will be raptured on the “Feast” of First Fruits. I believe this information
is erroneous and I can not find Scripture to support such conclusions.
Rather, the Word of God clearly shows:

John the Baptist Prophesied the Rapture of Christ’s WHEAT:

“I baptize you with water for repentance, but One is coming after me
who is more powerful than I. I am not worthy to loose his sandal. He
Himself will baptize you with the Holy Spirit (Spirit filled believers)
and fire (those under His judgment). His winnowing fan (sickle) is in
His hand, and He will clear His threshing floor (Pentecost) and gather
HIS WHEAT. But the chaff He will burn up with fire that never goes out.”
(Matthew 3:11-12)

Jesus Christ identified Himself as A GRAIN OF WHEAT:

“Now there were certain Greeks among those who came up to worship at
the Feast (Passover). Then they came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida
of Galilee, and asked him, saying, ‘Sir, we wish to see Jesus.’ Philip
came and told Andrew, and in turn Andrew and Philip told Jesus. But
Jesus answered them, saying ‘The hour has come that the Son of Man
should be glorified. Most assuredly I say to you, unless a GRAIN OF
WHEAT falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone. But, if it
dies, it produces much grain. He who loves his life will lose it, and
he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternity. If anyone serves
Me, let him follow Me; and where I AM, there My servant will be also.
If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.”
(John 12:20-26)

Likewise, the Scriptures clearly speak of three feast days which are
HOLY CONVOCATIONS unto the Lord. These are The Passover, The
Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Tabernacles. (Lev. 23:2)

Each is clearly represented in the 7 fold menorah that stood outside
the HOLY TEMPLE. Three candles represent Passover, Unleavened
Bread, and the Feast of First Fruits; the middle candle represents
Pentecost; and the other three represent Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur,
and the Feast of Tabernacles.

These holy days are linked to three harvest cycles: barley in the
spring, wheat in the summer, and grapes plus the four corners of the
field in the fall.

BARLEY:

There is only ONE mention of barley in the NT and that is when Jesus
fed the multitude with 5 barley loaves and 2 fish. These 5 barley
loaves represent the five major covenants God made with man through
Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and David. Barley clearly represented all
those under the law who died prior to Christ’s death on the Cross.
Jesus had to die to fulfill the Law. This is why He said, “It is
finished!” before He gave up the Spirit. Therefore, He fulfilled
Passover, Unleavened Bread, and Feast of First Fruits. Jesus was
the First Fruit of the Dead. (2 Corinthians 15:20)

WHEAT:

Wheat clearly represents Christians who are covered under the Blood of
Christ through His death on the Cross and who are sealed with the
Promise of the Holy Spirit. However, there are two kinds: soft wheat – those
living in obedience to the Holy Spirit; and hard wheat – those living in the flesh.

Born again, Spirit filled, Christians, both the Dead in Christ and those who are
Alive and Remain, make up the soft wheat who will meet the Lord in the clouds
before the Tribulation begins.

THESE ARE NO LONGER UNDER THE LAW BUT ARE UNDER THE SPIRIT.
“You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men. Clearly
you are an epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink but by the
Spirit of the Living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is,
of the heart.”  (2 Corinthians 3:2-3)

These Christians are not the “barley” that will be raptured on the Feast of First
Fruits as many contend on your forums. THESE ARE THE FIRST FRUITS OF
THE SPIRIT. As it clearly says in the Word: “Not only that, but we also who
have the First Fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves,
eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. (Romans 8:23)

The hard wheat, or hard hearted, carnal Christians will be left behind as they
must be crushed in a tribulum (Tribulation) to be rid of their hard outer shells
(the flesh) or endure until the end to be saved. (Galatians 5, Matthew 24:9, 13)

“And the Lord said, ‘Simon! Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked to sift you as
WHEAT. But, I have prayed for you that your faith should not fail; and when you
have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.” (Luke 22:31-32)

WHEN WILL THE GRAVES BURST OPEN AND THE RAPTURE OF THE
CHURCH TAKE PLACE?

PENTECOST!! THE TIME OF THE SUMMER WHEAT HARVEST!

“And when THE DAY OF PENTECOST HAD FULLY COME they were ALL
WITH ONE ACCORD IN ONE PLACE.” (Acts 2:1)

This is when the Holy Spirit was given and when the FIRST FRUITS OF THE
SPIRIT (the restrainer) will be removed. The Bible gives no other day
for every Spirit filled, born again believer to be in one place, of one
accord, on the same day as the rest of the Body of Christ other than on
Pentecost. This was true at the start of the Church and the Church is
raptured to Heaven. We will be in the same place (Heaven), of one
accord or like-minded in our incorruptible and immortal bodies and in
the Spirit.. on Pentecost!

To solidify this point, let’s look at some other key details….

The middle candle on the menorah is symbolic of Pentecost. Have you
ever noticed that it stands higher than the other candles? Why?

CHRISTIANS ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD! But sadly, this candle is
ABOUT TO GO OUT.

And of even greater importance… the names of this Holy Day give our
departure day away!

Feast of Weeks (Lev. 23:15-22, Numbers 28:26-31, Daniel)
THE “DAY” OF THE FIRST FRUITS (Numbers 28:26-31)
Festival of Harvest (Tenach)
Feast of Revelation (Pentateuch)
Feast of Elevation (Tenach)
THE “DAY” OF PENTECOST (Acts 2:1)
Shavuot (Torah)

The rapture of the Church on Pentecost is the fulfillment of the
prophetic Book of Ruth as the Gentile bride being rescued by her
Kinsmen Redeemer! (Book of Ruth)

Until the events of the graves bursting open and the rapture of the
living saints occur this HOLY CONVOCATION will not be fulfilled.

GRAPES AND THE FOUR CORNERS OF THE FIELD:

During the High Holy Days of the Fall, God’s GRAPES OF WRATH
(unbelievers) will be thrown into the winepress of His wrath at
Armageddon which will take place on Rosh Hashanah.

“Then another angel came out of the Temple which is in Heaven, he also
having a sharp sickle. And another angel came out from the alter, who
had power over fire. And he cried with a loud cry to him who had the
sharp sickle, saying, ‘Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the
clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe.’ So
the angel thrust his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the
earth and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And
the winepress was trampled outside the city and blood came out of the
winepress, up to the horse’s bridles, for one thousand six hundred
furlongs.” (Rev 14:17-20)

Every knee will then bow when Jesus sets His feet on the Mount of
Olives on Yom Kippur. “Behold, He is coming with clouds and every eye
will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the
earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.” (Rev. 1:7)

He will send His angels to gather every survivor from the four corners
of the earth at the FEAST OF TABERNACLES. This will be the final
harvest before the Millennial Reign of Christ on the earth. “And then He
will send His angels and gather together His elect from the four winds,
from the farthest past of the earth to the farthest part of heaven.”
(Mark 13:27) “And He will send His angels with a great sound of a
trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds,
from one end of heaven to the other. (Matthew 24:31)

With these events completed the High Holy Days of RH, YK, and FOT will
all be fulfilled as well.

So, in summary…

“For as in Adam all die (spiritually), even so in Christ all shall be
made alive. But each ONE in his own order: CHRIST, The First Fruits,
and afterward (after the 7 year Tribulation) those who are Christ’s at
His (Second) Coming.” (1 Corinthians 15:23)

Did you catch that?

CHRIST (at Passover); THE FIRST FRUITS (at Pentecost); and THOSE WHO
ARE CHRIST’S AT HIS COMING (at Feast of Tabernacles) just as He said,
“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: The Feasts of the
Lord, which you shall proclaim to be HOLY CONVOCATIONS, these are MY
FEASTS!” (Leviticus 23:2)

I hope this clears up the confusion that’s out there and you will post
this message on your boards. Too many people are being needlessly led
astray and will be sorely disappointed come Easter morning. But, take
heart! OUR BLESSED HOPE IS COMING! Pentecost is right around the corner
and the Counting of the Omer is our 50 DAY COUNTDOWN. Get right with
God now! Wait, Watch, Witness, Warn, and pray to be accounted Worthy!

 Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I cannot tell you how the LORD has been impressing into me, and sending people my way to hear from me the message of preparation, I have never had so many people come to me or call me about the Lord giving them the message  “clean house and prepare”. The bride of Christ should always be  in preparation, but there is within HIS word many examples of how he has man/women preparing themselves for HIS visitation. I cannot stress this enough, in fact just an hour ago, the LORD gave me a dream, in this dream, the LORD was emphasizing to me to not hold back in proclaiming HIS word and the preparation for HIS return, which is very soon. I have the fear of God in me about making sure one does everything to make oneself ready for HIM, everyday, yes, but especially looking toward HIS appointed Feast Days, this is what the Feast of Unleavened Bread is all about, making sure that no leaven (sin) is found in your house! Do not be seen with it, do not partake in it, do not consume it, is the message, no leaven, no sin! These Feast days are not only divine appointments with God and man, but also “dress rehearsals” for things  to come. There is a reason why we are to be found without leaven (sin) during this time….. one day, during Passover, another divine appointment will occur for his bride, and we must have been washed, found with oil (anointed) and with fresh clean raiment on!
Here is a little study on Ruth on this process of preparation.

 Ruth 3:3 a pattern for the Bride of Christ to follow

Rth 3:3  Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor: [but] make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done eating and drinking.

Washing, anointing, putting on of raiment, and getting thee ready for the threshing floor! Ruth 3:3  is a loaded verse, within this little verse holds a frame work for bridal preparation. Ruth is the barley bride, which is a type of bride of Christ. The bride of Christ will be and should be in constant preparation for his return. Many belong to HIM, but few take the time or make the preparation for meeting him face to face. The bride will be the bride because she will be making herself ready.

The preparation process is described above. The first is to wash thyself. This is a spiritual cleansing and bathing by staying in the word of God, staying repentant, walking in humility and forgiveness. Before God came down on Mt Sinai, he told Moses for Israel to make themselves ready for a period of three days.

God required this of the people of Israel as they came out of Egypt and were before HIM at Mt Sinai.

WASHING AND MAKING READY a THREE DAY PREPARATION! Exodus 19:9-119And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.10And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes.11And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

Jesus, also commanded the disciples to go to Jerusalem and wait for the promise and baptism of the Holy Spirit, Water  BAPTISM  was a type of  cleansing and washing away the old nature, a preparation for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, also accompanied with prayer and waiting for the promise of the Holy Spirit!  Act 1:4  And, being assembled together with [them], commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, [saith he], ye have heard of me.  Act 1:5   For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence

We can see that God DOES expect preparation before he comes down and meets with HIS children, this gives us a glimpse of our own preparation for his return. Ruth 3:3 again confirms the washing and preparation process!

The second step in Ruth’s preparation was to anoint herself. This clearly is a type of being filled with the Holy Spirit, and is a type of a wise virgin, having oil in their lamp.

The first time we see anoint mentioned in the Bible is in reference to concentration for a priestly office, this is a process of sanctification, and is required in order to be able to minister to God in the office of a priest.Exd 28:41  And thou shalt put them upon Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him; and shalt anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office.

We are told that the overcomer will be made Kings and priest, Rev 1:6   And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen

The overcomer would have overcome by the preparation of washing, renewing oneself, and then allowing the Holy Spirit to fill them, to anoint them with HIM! In doing so the Bride will  have made herself ready and prepared for the meeting of her groom, in the case of Israel at Mt Sinai to meet God, and for the priest to minister to God in the office of priest, anointing was required. SO must it be with the bride of Christ!

The third preparation process of Ruth was to “put thy raiment upon thee”. The first time the word raiment is used in the Bible is when the servant ( a type of the Holy Spirit) of Issac brought raiment for Rebekah. Gen 24:53  And the servant brought forth jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment, and gave [them] to Rebekah: he gave also to her brother and to her mother precious things.

Here the servant was preparing Rebekah for a marriage, it was his masters, Abraham, gift to her for agreeing to marry his son. And so it is with the raiment we put on, It was given to us by the Holy Spirit from the father, for the marriage of his son. We are to PUT ON the raiment that our father has given us through the Holy Spirit, in preparation to meet his son! Wow what treasures His word has for us, as his bridal stories unfold before our eyes!

The fourth step in preparations is Ruth putting herself in the place of vulnerability and availability “get thee down to the floor:” Ruth has made herself ready and now she is placing herself in position to become the bride of her kinsmen. This process requires, transparency, vulnerability, and is risky. The bride of Christ will too have had to make herself available to the lord, and in doing so, she has become vulnerable, and transparent, and available to her lord… despite the cost.

The threshing floor that night was where Boaz was, and he was winnowing Barley that night. This is a clue and a type of Ruth the barley bride. Barley is winnowed by throwing up into the air, a type of rapture. The barley hull easily falls away from the barley and the wind (a type of Holy Spirit)  removes the hull from the barley grain.  Wheat however is winnowed by a board, that crushes the wheat, this board is called a tribulum board, it is where we get the word tribulation from. Jesus was the firstfruits from the barley harvest, he arose on the Feast of Firstfruits, which represents the firstfruits from the barley harvest. Ruth represents the gentile barley bride, a type of the Church age, bride of Christ. Jesus is coming for a barley bride, He will be winnowing barley on the night he comes for HIS bride. The bride must be washed, anointed, having put on the raiment given to him from his father , and in waiting for the time of the harvest, staying available for her kinsmen redeemer!!

This is a new study by Lora Shipley about the bride of Christ, the church and the Rapture or taking away of the church into the clouds (the Rapture).

Lora your explanation of the Barley and wheat is clear, what I think needs to be mentioned are the rest of the believers that come to faith in Christ during the Tribulation. That has to be part of the wheat harvest of the earth.

Some of that harvest has to be alive at the end of the Tribulation to replenish the earth and millions are found dead martyred during the reign of the Antichrist.

10/11 days before Pentecost

I remember once one named Gooner said he seen the rapture while preparing to go to school in His washroom in the morning, and that he graduates on June 3rd, and wont be using that washroom anymore. And i remember another saying ww3 would start on June the 6th. I don’t know if its true, but if it is it cant be to far now.

Cutting to the chase, i believe that

Jesus burial and His resurrection including Many Old Testament saints was in the First of the Two Feasts of Unleavened Bread of the year, and its one of the Three Feasts a year that had to be kept. All of the Spring feasts were fulfilled except one The second Passover and Unleavened Bread which could be fulfilled this May ? i believe this 2nd feast is reserved to be fulfilled by the New Testament saints for Resurrection and Rapture, Just like the Old Testament saints Fulfilled the first of the two feast of Unleavened Bread, and this second feast which has not been fulfilled yet, its reserved for the Bride of Christ, the New Testament saints Maybe this May ?.

Deuteronomy 16:16 (New King James Version)
16 “Three times a year all your males shall appear before the LORD your God in the place which He chooses: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Tabernacles; and they shall not appear before the LORD empty-handed.

Will the Church Fulfill the 2nd Feast of Unleavened Bread this May? Time will tell

I don’t see nothing major in the news to point to our departure this First Fruits, but all is possible with the Lord.
If plan A fails for first fruits rapture i want to explore plan B before the church looses heart.

I was thinking that i might be wrong on the view of First Fruits, let me explain we know already of the feasts fulfilled at their proper time

SPRING FEASTS FULFILLED, EXCEPT ONE FEAST THAT REMAINS ?

Nisan 14, Passover Fulfilled, By Jesus at His crucifixion Nisan 15, Feast of Unleavened Bread Fulfilled, By Jesus at His burial in the tomb.
Nisan 17, Feast of Firstfruits Fulfilled, By Jesus at His Resurrection and Many O.T. Saints.

Jesus burial and His resurrection including Many Old Testament saints was in the First Feast of the Two Feasts of Unleavened Bread of the year, and its one of the Three Feasts a year that had to be kept. I think its not first fruits we have to look at but at the first of the three most important feast to be kept during the year. April 23. 2011 Two Easter celebrations

It is with great pleasure that I am writing this article on Saturday. Tomorrow we celebrate Easter, the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Mr. Jim Bramlet was gracious to post two videos of the celebration of this event in two different parts of our world. It is truly uplifting to see the joy expressed by these two groups in honor of our King.

If tomorrow is the day of the Rapture we will be dancing with joy in the clouds with these same brothers and sisters.
