Daniel Matson (15 Nov 2010) “Hanukkah 2010 and Solving Daniel’s 1290 Days”
Readers this article by Daniel Matson bears close scrutiny. He has done an excellent numerical and prophetic rendition of the prophecy of the 70 weeks of the book of Daniel. In the process he has ilustrated his points and conclusions with graphical images using charts very effectively.
His work also ties down significant warnings signs given by our Lord Jesus for His church to follow. As a believer I stand in gratitude for this work.

Hanukkah 2010 and Solving Daniel’s 1290 Days
Daniel Matson – November 14, 2010 – http://2010rapture.org/tevet1.html
So the Rapture did not occur at any point from the Feast of Trumpets through the anticipated day of November 8, 2010. There were many scrambled attempts, more discoveries, but it came up empty with no end product. Frankly, it was time to throw in the the towel and do a complete overhaul, if not resignation. And many may be upset and discouraged. That’s where this website and book project lay just a few days ago. It was game over. Adios amigos.
However, a fellow brother pleaded that things pushed on through the perceived difficulties. Sandy Armstrong mentioned some of his new conclusions and referenced also to a posting made by “CJ” that said we were all off by a month. Really? But this prompted a reevaluation of some of the basic paradigms that had been assumed for a long time by many prophecy teachers. It seemed doubtful, but it may truly be the piece of the puzzle we have been searching for that fell on the floor and was kicked under the table.
It has long been taught that Daniel’s 70th Week consists of 2,520 days. That divided into two equals 1,260 days. No problem. But does the 70th Week end at the end of the second part of the 1,260 days? It seems to be the natural conclusion. But hang on there.
In the Book of Daniel there is no mention of 1,260 days, that only occurs in the Book of Revelation. If all one looked at was the Book of Daniel to draw conclusions, which is the proper step before jumping to a systematic theology, then the drawing of the 70th Week would look askew to the modern well accepted paradigm. Daniel 12 mentions a time, times, and half a time, but the day counts are listed as 1,290 and 1,335 days–not 1,260 days. The length of of the Great Tribulation is 1,290 days with an additional 45 days (day 1,335) that if reached will be a great blessing. So the proper understanding of Daniel would be as follows:
Therefore, the mid-point of the 70th Week would be shifted by 30 days if one follows only the Book of Daniel. Therefore, the period of 1,260 days as found in the Book of Revelation when Israel is preserved in exile, does begin at the point of the Abomination, but it does not terminate on the conclusion of the 70th Week. In fact there may be other separate periods of 1,260 days, such as with the two witnesses since that is indeed hard to pin down. However, the fact that 1,260 days ends 30 days before the ending of the 70th Week solves other riddles as well.
One riddle is when Christ speaks that the days must be cut short, yet how can one alter the clearly inspired day counts? If they are shortened it makes the Word null. But with day 1,260 from the Abomination resulting in the deliverance by Messiah the Prince so that all Israel is saved, He has in effect cut the days short of the Great Tribulation that are laid out as 1,290 days. The 30 days that remain are fore judgment and purification to prepare for the official ending of the 70 Weeks and their stated purpose.
Therefore, this keeps intact the dates that had originally been suggested. Christ returns during the Fall Feasts with day 1,260 being the Day of Atonement 2017. Day 1,290 would be the second observation of Atonement and the anniversary day of Noah’s sealing in the Ark–Heshvan 10. Day 1,290 completes the 70th Week. Then 45 days later remains Kislev 26 and the anniversary ending day of the 40 days and 40 nights of rain in Noah’s Flood. This is the second day of Hanukkah and the eve on which begins the third day that is the gift giving day.
So with this adjustment the front end of the 70th week moves back 30 days. Counting 2,520 days back from Heshvan 10, 2017 (October 30) will result in Day One as being December 7, 2010. This is the sixth day of Hanukkah. December 8th is the scheduled day of the new moon in both camps. But with slight calendar variations it may be best to consider Day One as either December 7 or 8. Call this “new moon complications”, but if we are Raptured on the new moon, that day would basically be Tevet 1 and day 7 of Hanukkah. Either way look for that time from December 7-8.
The adjustment of 30 days also does not affect the original theory here that the Abomination of Desolation would occur on Firstfruits 2014 (Sunday April 20). All of the calculations then are still accurate from 2014 on, if this adjustment is the missing piece to the puzzle. Some of the other dates and discoveries of the past few months also seem to coincide with Hanukkah 2010 (keep reading below).
One day count example is the 8.8 Concepcíon Chile earthquake. From and including Feb 27, 2010 until December 3, 2010 is 280 days or 40 weeks–the human gestation period. This would be Kislev 26. This corresponds to day 40 of the 40 days and nights of rain in the Flood. It is also the day General Allenby walked into Israel without a shot being fired in 1917 and it looks to be the day, seven Hebrew years later from Kislev 26, 2010, that would equate to day 1335–Kislev 26 (December 14, 2010). 280 is 40 times 7. Those numbers here are duplicated quite nicely.
This then brings up Oct 18, 2010 and the great solar filament day. It was Heshvan 10. The day that Noah was sealed in the Ark. 7 Hebrew years earlier in 2003 there were the massive solar flares that would have wiped out those on the surface of the earth. That was also Heshvan 10. Heshvan 10, 2010 is also seven Hebrew years prior to Heshvan 10, 2017–which would be day 1290 and now the correct endpoint for the 70th Week. But Heshvan 10, 2010 was also 40 weeks from the 7.0 Port-au-Prince Haiti earthquake. Again more sevens, forties and gestational periods. After all, the coming Tribulation is a term for the labors of child birth.
Also it must be remembered that this day of October 18, 2010 had Comet Hartley in the same position as Comet McNaught was in 120 earlier on the Summer Solstice of June 21. The was also the largest gamma ray burst ever observed that coincided with June 21, 2010.
Heshvan 10, 2010 was also the day that ended 120 x 120 days plus 12 x 120 days from the taking of the Temple Mount in the Six-Day War. This has been discussed at length. Both sections coincided with significant Flood anniversary days in 2006 and here in 2010. From Heshvan 10 (October 18), 2010 another 50 days will end at the close of December 7, 2010.
Other interesting counts are from Elul 1 (August 11), 2010. 2007 360-day years from Pentecost AD 32 would end on August 20, 2010. The next day of Elul 1 is the 40-day Season of repentance. If we count Elul 1 and continue with a total of 120 days, the count will end at December 8, 2010. Yes, similar numbers again.
There were also the three solar eclipses on Av 1 in 2008, 2009, and 2010. This has made many curious. The 2010 eclipse was poised right over Easter “Firstfruits” Island. This was on July 11, 2010. If we count this day and go forward a total of 150 days, it will likewise come to the close of December 7, 2010–Hanukkah again. Why this is interesting is that Noah’s Ark came to rest on the 17th day of the seventh month–150 days after the Flood. Adjusting the calendars, that day corresponds to the day Christ was raised from the dead–Firstfruits. It does seem to get a little thick then, doesn’t it?
Is there any more items to glean? Stay tuned. More people will probably soon find many other details…
And not to forget. Hanukkah is the end of the olive harvest and the time of the miraculous oil and lampstand that began this Feast of Dedication. Was not the Church also described as the Seven Lampstands? The new moon day of Tevet 1 and the seventh day of Hanukkah might be a good picture of the removal of the Seven Churches/Lampstands.
Nov 14, 2010 A swarm of earthquakes near the coast of Yemen
The swarm of earthquakes at the entrance to the Red Sea is really outstanding. Most of the free world shipping passes here and is a constant source of earthquakes that started today. Is this a strong sign of what is to occur in this area soon? Also look at the region of Puerto Rico.
This post was entered last night and I had confused the location with the entrance to the Persian Gulf sorry for the confusion.

Lisa Taylor (15 Nov 2010) “Enoch and Hanukkah”
In the post before we have a timeline leading us to the Rapture in Hanukkah of this 2010. In this letter Lisa Taylor explains why the church is the seven Lamp-stands found in the book of Revelation. It is a seven branch Menorah that we see described. Hanukkah is celebrated with a nine branch Menorah.
In their wonderful book The Mystery of the Menorah J.R. Church and Gary Stearman go on to explain how the twenty seven books of the New Testament are divided into three nine branch Hanukkah Menorahs.
Matthew to Galatians is the first Menorah with Acts been the Servant Lamp.
Ephesian to Philemon is the second Menorah with 2 Thessalonians being the Servant Lamp.
Hebrews to Revelationis the third and last Menorah wiht first John being the Servant Lamp.
It sure looks that Hanukkah is very important and The Rapture could very well happen in one of the days of this wonderful celebration.
